Autotherapy
is a MS Paint Adventures fan comic written by Obsuralupa (AKA Mare) and drawn by Aurorawolfa (AKA Alex). It takes place "a good two or three years" after Homestuck ends (specifically after the panel "END OF ACT 6 ACT 5"). The forum thread can be found here. Other links are on the first post as well.

Adorkable: Gwen is shown to be a very nerdy character, but is actually pretty cute in some panels. This is on an account that Gwen used to be modeled after the author and so the artist still has some residual affection from that and other feelings. The artist has a lot of feels. - Alien Blood: All of the Trolls have this.
- Alternate History: The new Earth is under one government called the Global Republic. Potential trope, but we don't know yet.
- Ascetic Aesthetic: The Global Republic likes to keep everything clean - hides the blood better, we guess.
- Badass Bookworm: Gwen, Shepherd, Amos
- Big Bad: Presumably Shepherd. Although recent updates may disprove there's more of a story to him.
- Bilingual Bonus: Dany speaks Manda'o sometimes.
- Buffy Speak: Young Gwen has a large vocabulary, especially for somebody her age. Unfortunately she doesn't always know how they're pronounced.
- Crazy Enough to Work: The plan to get into the Global Republic building. This is also Gwen's personal response to every problem
- Darker and Edgier / Lighter and Softer: The plot switches between the two of these.

- Easter Egg: Some page file names are messages to JordanTH, the person who maintains the adventure's mirror. Some of these messages have even made it into
the pages themselvesnote . - Enclosed Space: Dany and Gwen mention using vents to break and enter into places before the events of the main story. They also use a vent to break into and sneak around a government building
- Enforced Technology Levels: The Global Republic keeps a tight leash on who has what tech.
- Eye Scream: When Shepherd decides to use a prototype machine to change Gwen's eye color as a form of torture, it is shown that this machine inserts some sort of needle into the eye itself.
- Fire-Forged Friends: Presumably Dany and Gwen from teenage drama and their many side adventures
- Flat "What": At the end of the aforementioned flash.
- Foreshadowing: Gwen, like most teenagers, swears. When she swears around her mother, she's told "Language, Basil dear." When she swears near Shepherd, she's told almost the exact same thing.
- Friendly Enemy: possibly Shepherd, but further updates may change that
- Funny Background Event: Starting here, there's a flower. Later on it dies for seemingly no reason.
- Fridge Horror: This happened at the same time as the arrival of the Shepherd, which means his presence alone may cause life to wither and die.
- Geographic Flexibility
- Hacker Cave: that one room in the Global Republic building that Dany and Gwen break into. Also, Sollux's "den".
- Improbable Weapon User: Anything from hockey sticks to a large club with the head of Mickey Mouse on the end, just like in Homestuck itself.
- In Name Only: The Global Republic
- It's Not You, It's My Enemies: Gwen's reason for breaking up with Dany prior to the events of the comic
- La Résistance: The kids rebel and their guardians do as well. But the guardians, including Shepherd, once formed a resistance group against the ________ Empire before Shepherd was in charge
- Ragtag Bunch of Misfits: The Delta kids (Gwen, Dany, Lucy, and Bill) and the other kids
- The Empire: the Global Republic, formerly the ________ Empire
- Wham Line: A pretty big one.
- BRAD: Does she know that her father is the Shepherd?
- Similarly, when Gwen is complaining to Shepherd when she's captured, she said she dislikes clichés. The example she uses is "You might have been as close as my daughter."
