Amy and her Loyal Animal Companion Dinah

Armless Amy is a horror webcomic which could be described as a combination of Lenore the Cute Little Dead Girl and Salad Fingers involving the strange adventures of Amy, an Emotionless Girl without arms who meets a series of grotesque and strange creatures in a desolated wasteland. While most of those of beings claim they want to "befriend" her, their actions will say otherwise...

The comic is also available on ComicFury and on The Duck Webcomics under the name The weird adventures of Armless Amy. The comic is also available on Tapastic.

See also Yaoi Cats, a parody comic made by the same author, which is completely different in tone and writing.

[Armless Amy] contains examples of:

  • After the End: While not specified, there are some hints which indicate that the story takes place in the desolated earth after some kind of major catastrophe.
  • Alliterative Name: The Protagonist Title-type Alliterative Title.
  • Art Evolution: The first chapters had a very simple and undetailed artwork. In the following chapters, the characters designs became more detailed and had a better use of lighting effects in order to have a more fitting atmosphere for the story.
  • Cerebus Syndrome: Although the whole comic was meant to be scary, it was just Amy meeting a bunch of scary monsters at first. The plot becomes deeper and darker (yes, that is possible) after it's revealed that the Wasteland was created partially because of a child-sacrificing cult that wanted to resurrect their demonic God who has plans for Amy
  • Cloudcuckooland: The Wasteland is a dark version of this trope.
  • Crapsack World: The Wasteland is a desolated place filled with murderous monsters and with no cities or ordinary humans in sight.
  • Emotionless Girl: Amy tends to react with complete indifference towards all the horrifying things happening around her. At worst, she seems slightly shocked by something, but nothing more than that.
  • Facial Horror: Eustace, Amy's best friend misses half of his face. From the end of Chapter 4, he always appears wearing a creepy rabbit mask.
  • Gentle Giant: Eustace, Whose gigantic when compared to Amy, is pretty much always nice towards the armless protagonist
  • Huge Guy, Tiny Girl: Amy's best friend is Eustace, a giant with a disfigured face which has some resemblance to Leatherface.
    • The Author compares their relationship to Wreck-It Ralph & Vanellope
  • Killer Rabbit: The creepy, skin-eating rabbits from chapter 3.
  • Little Miss Badass: Despite all the weird and disturbing events happening in each chapter, Amy never seems scared at anything. In chapter 3, she even defeats (off-screen) a group of skin-eating rabbits, apparently without trouble
  • Living Shadow: Shadow Grandma, who according to the author of the webcomic, plays the role of the Big Bad.
  • Loyal Animal Companion: Dinah, the cat pet of Amy, which follows her everywhere.
  • Monster of the Week: The first chapters followed this kind of format, with the new character introduced by the episode playing the role of antagonist.
  • Nightmare Fuel Station Attendant: Most of the characters of this webcomic could qualify for this due their creepy behavior and disturbing appearance.
  • No Brows: Most of the characters (including the protagonist)don't have eyebrows.
