"Videos made for fun, have an awesome day :D"

VibingLeaf is a YouTuber well known for his re-takes on various creepypasta, such as Squidward's Suicide and Suicide Mouse. Originally, he was known for posting Minecraft animations, short 3D animations and a piano cover of Deltarune's Don't Forget. One day, however, he posted another 3D animation entitled Another Footage of The Backrooms and it's Exactly What It Says on the Tin. A three seconds animation of someone in a complete dark version of The Backrooms turning around. This was his first horror related video that he has ever made and two months later, Vibing Leaf posted a video entitled: Crimson Hill (A new take on Sonic.exe) which marked the beginning of his own Sonic.exe series, doomed.

His channel can be found here.

Tropes:

  • Adaptation Expansion: The retake of El Pendrive Azul spans four levels in total, in contrast to the two the original creepypasta had, including a Blackout Basement version of Marble Zone where almost everything is obscured by darkness, their silhouettes lit up by the lightning.
  • Adaptational Context Change: The document for Victim #1 in the MARIO by M A R I O retake is now properly connected to the person Mario killed, as is the infamous Nightmare Face actually being a Gross-Up Close-Up of their decrepit corpse.
  • Adaptational Heroism: Happy Appy in the original creepypasta gradually becomes Ax-Crazy, in the Re-Imagined version he is much more kind and less evil. Subverted by the captions, whose briefly-glimpsed texts imply his more malevolent undertones.
  • Adaptational Wimp: Eteled is much more fearful and inept than in the original Wii Deleted You, which allows him to retain his moral compass at the cost of his sanity.
  • After the End: _tale.wmv, being a retake of help_tale, is set in an apocalyptic Earth destroyed by the merging of every single Undertale AU into a singular universe. While the Underground is still in one piece, its inhabitants have been severely damaged from the fusion process; Napstablook suffers his original fate of melting from Determination exposure while also being skewered by his Underswap robot body, Toriel has apparently been Driven to Suicide, and Sans remains the Angelic Abomination he was in the original help_tale.
  • Animalistic Abomination:
    • CORPSE is a wendigo-like creature that kills Darwin and Anais in The Grieving Re-Take.
    • The Fish in Lies is portrayed as an otherworldly being that mocks SpongeBob for his refusal to move on after Squidward killed himself.
  • Anti-Frustration Feature: While the Mr. Mix Re-Mixed retake is shown to be really hard, needing the Cheat Engine to overcome, its playable adaptation has the difficulty toned down for casual players.
  • Bait-and-Switch: In Spongebob Lies, at first it appears the Lies Fish is trying to get SpongeBob to move on from his grief.. Until the end where he admits he’s doing this for fun.
  • Breaking Old Trends: Creepypasta-wise, there are several Kid Hero protagonists, and they...often tend to get the short end of the stick, so to speak. Refreshingly, when there is a child protagonist, there's rarely any implications they die. Even then, the things they tend to deal with are less supernatural and are more just common, if terrifying, computer viruses or odd occurrences they just happen to stumble upon.
  • Breather Episode: Lost Plants Vs Zombies Ice Level has no scares or gore and just shows off a unused level in the game. It’s sandwiched in between Mario’s Strange Adventure where a child plays a Mario game that is haunted though it’s not taken completely straight and Disney Channel Hijacked in Local Bahamas where the hijacked channel shows Mickey taking his head off in a horrifying fashion.
  • Cain and Abel: Just like the original I HATE YOU, Luigi is the Cain to Mario's Abel in Ignited Hatred, as he attempts to murder Mario for always taking the spotlight from him and seemingly favoring Peach over him. Although here, he is a bit reluctant to hurt him this time.
  • Call-Back: Brian2p still has the weird desktop image of Red from Angry Birds Parasite in Mr. Mix Re-Mixed.
  • Children Are Innocent: A lot of the protagonists of some of the videos, including Angry Birds Parasite, Roblox Whistle Occurence and Mario's Strange Adventure are heavily implied to be children due to the video's purposely low qualities.
  • Content Warning: Right before Brian2p starts playing Mr. Mix in Mr. Mix Re-Mixed, the video takes the moment to warn viewers in advance that it can get very loud and includes flashing images.
  • Dented Iron: The inability to FIGHT in _tale.wmv goes both ways, as Sans's Gaster Blasters are shown to be rusted/corroded/worn out to oblivion and jam the moment he (or what's left of him after the universe merge, anyways) tries to open fire.
  • Driven to Suicide:
    • Like in the original creepypasta, Squidward shoots himself after getting driven insane by the Red Mist.
    • Gumball hangs himself in the re-take of ''The Grieving" out of guilt over the deaths of Darwin and Anais.
    • Pingu ends up splitting his head after banging his head against the back of the bed several times due to the guilt over unintentionally killing Pinga in the Canceled Pingu Finale Ending.
    • Plankton lets himself get ran over by a bus in Plankton Is Served, just like in the original creepypasta.
    • The main theme of LEGO Man's Owner. The titular LEGO Man witnesses his owner shooting himself off-screen. Afterwards, the LEGO Man finds himself in an Imagine Spot, where he's faced at the edge of a cliff, which he walks off of. It then cuts to reality, where he's dismantled. The video even has a Content Warning stating that it contains themes of suicide.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: While the paralysis demons portrayed on the channel are... well, just that, they're quick to notice if things are going wrong for the viewer, shifting their focus into instead comforting them and ensuring they see through to the next day.
  • Fearless Fool: Brian2p, a recurring protagonist in the videos, almost never recognizes the danger he gets into from the games he downloads. For example, in Spyware Candy Crush, his reaction in the text commentary to the corrupted character in it overhearing him mocking the character's appearance with his friend and giving him thinly-veiled threats is to just remark that he "lost 20 euro to a bet but at least [he] found something interesting".
  • Genre Savvy: In windows_xp_update.mp4, Brian2P makes the very smart decision to run the so-called "update" in a virtual machine, because it seemed too good to be true. This ultimately pays off, as the virus completely destroys the Virtual Machine at the end.
  • Hate Sink: The Fish in Lies proves to be this by mocking Spongebob in multiple occasions, first after Squidward's death then after Spongebob begins to believe that Gary's leaving him for Patrick.
  • Heel Realization: On the alternate path in Ignited Hatred, Luigi is taken aback by Mario showing concern for his health. Luigi can't bring himself to hurt Mario anymore, realizing that Mario actually does care about him after all.
  • Hell Is That Noise: Mickey lets out a horrifying scream when taking off his head in Disney Channel Hijacked in Local Bahamas Area
  • Hidden Depths: Mr. Mix Re-Mixed reveals that Brian2p apparently knows enough about programming to make his own dedicated cheating tool for the titular game.
  • Ignored Confession: The creator of the April Fools' video Mario's Strange Adventure completely misunderstands the implications of the messages in the Mario game he is playing, namely that it is a thinly veiled murder confession from a person named Joseph. Judging from the way the creator types, it is implied that the creator is only a kid.
MarTin0sGames, pretending to be Mario reading the message: "It wasn't my fault, she always hitkonote  me and awsednote  me, I'm sorry mamnote . please forgive me"...
"Mario": I don't think its best to apologize in my game! moms don't play nowadays :(
  • Mood Whiplash:
    • After Pingu splits his head open in Cancelled Pingu Finale Ending, likely fatally wounding himself, a cheerful outro appears with the classic Pingu jingle and a voice saying "Thanks for tuning into the finale! We hope you have a nice day!".
    • Both ‘’Spongebob Lies’’ and ‘’Bootleg Spongebob’’ start off somber as Spongebob’s life get worse. But then the Lies Fish shows up, turning the melancholy to menace.
  • Moving Beyond Bereavement: After an unspecified amount of time after Luigi's death in Ignited Hatred, Mario is confronted by Luigi's spirit (Though it's not clear whether it's really Luigi or a figment of Mario's imagination), who tells him that he needs to move on from his death.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: Canceled Pingu Finale Ending shows Pingu struggling to sleep due to an incident involving a ceiling fan hitting Pinga.
  • Nightmare Face: Happens quite a lot.
    • A notable example is the zombie in "U53RDV Re-Imagined"'s dev mode.
  • Out-of-Genre Experience: Lost Plants Vs Zombies Ice Level Found is simply a playthrough of a Plants vs. Zombies level, with no creepy moments whatsoever, unless you count the ambiance of the outro.
  • Sanity Slippage:
    • After going through two subsequent traumatic experiences in one go in mouse.avi Re-Take (being dumped by Minnie in response to a dumb act and remembering the demise of a close friend), Mickey's sanity outright goes down the gutter, leaving him Laughing Mad before he continues his walk, implying that the burning city was of his doing.
    • Following the murder of Victim #1 in MARIO Victim #1, Mario refuses to believe he's done anything wrong and believes Yoshi is trying to push him over the edge for no reason. He also doesn't seem to remember having offed Victim #1 at all, despite sitting next to the pipe he put them in.
  • Soft-Spoken Sadist: In Jeff The Killer Repaired, Jeff speaks with an unnervingly soothing voice when talking to the person in the bed, going as far as to refer to them as friend. However given Jeff seems to kill them after they open their eyes, it's obvious he's still an insane murderer.
  • Skewed Priorities: Brian2p’s main concern in ‘’Mr. Mix Re-Mixed’’ isn’t the amount of disturbing imagery the game throws at him or even the fact that his computer is infected, instead he’s more happy he got footage of the game.
  • Survivor's Guilt:
    • Gumball blames himself for indirectly causing CORPSE to kill his siblings in "The Grieving Re-Take", leading to him hanging himself.
    • It's heavily implied that SpongeBob was so upset by Squidward killing himself that he imagines that he's still alive, as shown in Lies.
  • Surprisingly Realistic Outcome:
    • The ending of Angry Birds Parasite. While there were hints that the storyteller's computer was infected with ransomware, they eventually got it sorted out by simply factory resetting their computer. After all, even though the game was definitely not a regular port of Angry Birds, it was clearly not supernatural in any way.
    • The ending of Spyware Candy Crush; while it was forebodingly creepy, it's still just Candy Crush infected with spyware, so the protagonist's antivirus quickly neutralizes the threat.
  • Time Crash: "_tale.wmv" is a retelling of the first act of the Undertale AU help_tale, a sardonic Death World caused by the fusion of every other Undertale AU and its new Frisk setting out to either decouple or control it.
  • Where I Was Born and Razed: Mickey ends up burning down the city in Mouse.avi Re-take.
