The Presidents on a ski adventure.

"Biden and the Gang" is a series of videos on YouTube created by Dalton Bantz, utilizing AI-generated voice clips and starring the US Presidents. The videos feature Donald Trump, Joe Biden, Barack Obama, and George W. Bush getting into all manner of wacky, sitcom-esque adventures, whether it be owning an ice-cream truck or going to the pool.

Contains examples of:

  • Anachronism Stew: The videos take place in a modern day setting while it features former U.S presidents that were the same ages when they were politicians and have existed in time periods long before they died, such as John F. Kennedy, Harry Truman, John Adams, and Thomas Jefferson.
  • Ate It All: In "The Great Ice Cream War," Trump ate all of the caramel and vanilla ripple in the ice cream truck.
  • Bad Humor Truck: In "The Great Ice Cream War," Biden recalls an ice cream truck driver he used to know named Barney Buckwheat. At first, Barney seemed like a friendly man who brought smiles to kids, then it's revealed that he would scoop up kids in his cart and take them back to his lair for consumption.
  • Baseball Episode: "Biden & The Gang Play Baseball" sees the Presidents engage in America's favorite pastime.
  • Black Comedy: Most of Kennedy's appearances lampshade his assassination.
  • Bowdlerise: The closed captions typically remove any cuss words present in the videos.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: Bush can be spacey at times, assuming that he's playing Go Fish while playing Uno.
  • Cool Old Guy: Jimmy Carter is a kind man who helps the Presidents sell ice cream with his Carter brand peanuts.
  • A Dick in Name: Dick Cheney lives up to his name by being an unpleasant bully.
  • Disco Dan: Biden is fond of the old-school game Pong.
  • Don't Eat and Swim: In "Pool Day," Dick Cheney offers Biden some ice cream. Just as Biden is about to show off one of his signature dives, Cheney taunts him by reminding him that he can't swim for an hour after eating, or he'll get a cramp.
  • Easter Episode: "Easter Eggstravaganza" takes place on Easter and centers around an Easter egg hunt.
  • Expy: Trump, in these videos, behaves very similarly to Cartman.
  • Freudian Trio: The brash and arrogant Trump is the Id, the Old Windbag Biden is the Superego, and Obama balances them out as the Ego.
  • The Friend Nobody Likes: Trump qualifies as this for the group.
    • Truman is this to an extent, but as far as the rest of the presidents are concerned he is not even a 'friend.'
  • Four-Temperament Ensemble: The cheerful Biden is Sanguine, the level-headed Obama is Phlegmatic, the rude and angry Trump is Choleric, and the woefully innocent Bush is Melancholic.
  • GIS Syndrome: The videos use stock images of the presidents, as well as stock backgrounds.
  • Giver of Lame Names: In "Easter Eggstravaganza," Bush draws a face on an egg and calls it "Eggy."
  • Gratuitous Spanish: In "The Great Ice Cream War," the gang decides to have their ice cream truck play "El Jarabe Tapatio." This leads the neighborhood kids to think that it's a taco truck. George tells them "No tenemos tacos, mis amigos. Lo lamento."
  • Jerkass:
    • Trump is a humungous jerk who particularly likes picking on Biden.
    • Clinton is an arrogant asshole who thinks he owns the street and calls Obama "chocolate."
  • Jerkass to One: Trump is cruel towards everyone, but he is noticeably crueler towards Biden specifically.
  • Jousting Lance: In "Biden & The Gang Get Medieval," Trump makes the terrible mistake of putting his sword onto a jousting lance. He later ended up with blood on his face.
  • Kick the Dog: In "Tears of the Kingdom," Cheney reveals that he hired undercover operatives to purchase multiple copies of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, then buys the last one for himself, just because he hates Bush and his friends.
  • Manchild: JFK insinuates that Biden and the others are childish for playing video games.
    • George draws a smiley face on an egg and calls him "Eggy". Pretends that Eggy is real and is sad to let Eggy go in order to kill the Easter Bunny.
  • Non-Malicious Monster: The chili gremlin Biden encounters in "The Big Ski Adventure" helps him find his way out of the woods and exchanges stories with him. Though it does attack Trump when it smells the chili on him, but even that feels like karma given Trump stole said chili from Bush in the first place.
  • Nobody Calls Me "Chicken"!: In "The Great Ice Cream War," Clinton challenges Obama and the others to a game of chicken. When Biden refuses, Clinton calls them "chicken." Obama, offended by being called "chicken," takes on the challenge.
  • No, You: In "Biden & the Gang Play UNO," Obama calls Trump a bastard. Trump responds with "I know you are, but what am I?"
  • Old-Timey Bathing Suit: In "Pool Day," Biden wears a striped bathing suit to the pool.
  • Old Windbag: Biden is prone to telling long stories about the past, much to Trump's annoyance.
  • Only Sane Man: Obama is usually the level-headed voice of reason among the presidents.
  • Politically Incorrect Hero: Although Obama and Biden are (usually) the good guys, they agree that Bush's jester outfit looks gay.
  • Politically Incorrect Villain:
    • Trump mocks Bush's jester outfit by asking if he's in the medieval pride parade. He then insists that he wasn't saying there was anything wrong with being gay.
    • In "The Great Ice Cream War," Clinton calls Obama "chocolate."
  • Perfectly Cromulent Word: In "The Great Ice Cream War," Trump insists that "knarf" is a word while playing Boggle.
  • Putting the Pee in Pool: In "Pool Day," Trump bets that Abraham Lincoln peed in the pool and was proud of it.
  • Real Event, Fictional Cause: Bush apparently created the TSA in part to keep chili gremlins from entering the country according to "The Big Ski Adventure."
  • Really Gets Around: JFK apparently has sex with everyone, except Jackie Kennedy.
  • Renaissance Fair: In "Biden & The Gang Get Medieval," the Presidents go to a renaissance fair. Biden dresses up a knight, Trump as a king, Obama as a dragon, and Bush as a court jester.
  • Running Gag: In "Biden & The Gang Get Medieval," there is a recurring gag where people insinuate that Bush's jester costume looks gay.
  • Ski-Resort Episode: "Big Ski Adventure" sees the four presidents going skiing.
  • Stuff Blowing Up: In "The Great Ice Cream War," Clinton's ice cream truck explodes after bumping into a fire hydrant.
  • Synthetic Voice Actor: Everyone's voices are generated using artificial intelligence technology.
  • Totally Radical: "Skate of the Union" sees Biden attempting to be hip with today's youth by using outdated skater slang.
  • You Keep Using That Word: In "Biden & the Gang Play UNO," Biden claims that "cracker," (a slur for white people) means "buddy."
