Trivia: Pajama Sam
  • Blooper:
    • In the 2002 re-release of the first game, there is a glitch where when clicking on the "Dogs Playing Poker" picture in Darkness's living room. After one of the animations plays, it overlaps the couch.
    • The fourth game has some, though not as many as Atari's later Putt-Putt: Pep's Birthday Surprise.
  • Cowboy Bebop at His Computer:
    • In the One-Stop Fun Shop storytime coloring book story The Lost Socks, if you choose to have one of the trees from the first game in the story, they refer to it as Mrs. Tree. Not only did they misidentify her as one of the custom inspection trees, but her name is Ms. Tree.
    • In the Tie-In Novel Pajama Sam: What's Different?, the banner at the sweets' party reads "Welcome S.A.M." instead of "Welcome S.S.A.M." despite optional dialogue in the game pointing out that it's supposed to be spelled with two Ss.
  • Defictionalization:
  • Depending on the Artist:
    • Rudy Beagle (AKA Mr. Forklift) did not have a space for Sam to ride in in Thunder And Lightning Aren't So Frightening. This was changed in Lost & Found.
    • Non-character example: Sam's copy of Pajama Man issue #1 has a different cover in Life Is Rough When You Lose Your Stuff! than it did in No Need To Hide When It's Dark Outside.
  • Franchise Killer: The fourth game.
  • Hey, It's That Voice!: Sam's voice actress in most of the games is Pamela Segall/Adlon, the same voice of Bobby Hill from King of the Hill, as well as Spinelli and Derek Generic.
    • David Gasman, one of the recurring actors in the British dubs is the voice of Rayman! He's also English [\] French bilingual.
  • Name's the Same: Sonic the Hedgehog: The Movie also has a place called the Land of Darkness. (Bizarrely, Pajama Sam in No Need To Hide When It's Dark Outside was revealed at E3 on the same day as Sonic the Hedgehog: The Movie's initial Japanese release.)
  • Non-Singing Voice: Quite obviously the sock from the fourth game.
  • The Other Darrin:
    • For an unexplained reason, in SockWorks Sam is voiced by E.G. Daily, otherwise known as Tommy Pickles or Buttercup.
    • Larch, Birch and Mr. Splinter sound different in Thunder And Lightning Aren't So Frightening than they do in No Need To Hide When It's Dark Outside.
    • Sam's mom sounds different in You Are What You Eat From Your Head To Your Feet than she does in No Need To Hide When It's Dark Outside, SockWorks, and Lost & Found.
    • The trio of candles sound different in You Are What You Eat From Your Head To Your Feet than they do in No Need To Hide When It's Dark Outside.
    • And the ever popular voice change for Sam in Life is Ruff when you Lose your Stuff!
  • What Could Have Been:
  • Working Title:
    • Pajama Sam 2: Thunder And Lightning Aren't So Frightening was at one point going to be called Pajama Sam in It's Only Thunder And Lightening.
    • Pajama Sam: Life Is Rough When You Lose Your Stuff!'s working title was Pajama Sam 4.
  • Vaporware: The Pajama Man Defictionalization game.
