Having defeated Harebourg and rescued Amalia, the Brotherhood has found out that the Count had imprisoned Kerubim, Achtam and Joris after they recovered the Six Eliatrope Dofus, using a shape-shifting creature known as Sipho to take the latter's place. Furthermore, Goultard and Rubilax communicates with the group, revealing that Sadlygrove's previous bout of overwhelming power is due to the fact that, in truth, he's none other than the reincarnation of the Iop God, who long ago forsake his place as a God to live among the mortals and reincarnate multiple times. Kerubim and Achtam also reveals that two of the Dofus are currently in possession of their half-brother, the Ecaflip Demigod Ush Galesh, member of the Siblings, and plan to confront him alongside Yugo and Joris inside the Ecaflip Dimension.

Meanwhile, Adamai and Otomai witness Count Harebourg reporting to a woman called Lady Echo, who orders him to freeze himself up as a punishment. The woman and Sipho then confront the duo, but surprisingly, they do not act hostile at all, Echo is even willing to hand over the Dofus, but she warns Adamai that the plan of the Sibling is actually a way to protect the World of Twelve, as she fears that if Yugo uses the Six Eliatrope Dofus to fight Ogrest and his Six Primordial Dofus, the world will be destroyed by their clash. Full of doubt, the young Dragon recovers the Dofus.

While Sadlygrove and the others return to the Sadida Kingdom, hoping to use Sadlygrove's newfound godly powers to find a way to save them from the impending flood, Yugo confronts Ush Galesh in his personal dimension, in a four vs. four battle with the two Eliatrope Dofus at stake...

Tropes:

  • Actually Pretty Funny: Even thought he spoiled a perfectly good reveal, Goultard finds Rubilax's joke reveal that Dally is actually a woman amusing, before telling him to spell out the true reveal.
  • Ambiguously Evil: While Lady Echo is one of the Siblings, she's nothing but courteous and affable to Ad, explaining that their "extreme" methods to get the Dofus are meant to prevent their misuse.
  • Arc Villain: Ush Galesh, Ecaflip Demigod and another member of the Siblings who has the Dofus.
  • Barrier Warrior: One of Ush's tricks allows him to summon a semi-spherical red barrier (seemingly composed of small diamonds) that greatly damages all those caught by it. To further aggravate matters, he puts a seal on Yugo which activates the traps of the arena and push him towards the barrier.
  • Battle Aura: Parodied with Dally's divine aura: when Amalia tries to persuade her father and Armand that Sadlygrove is the Iop God, she excitedly pokes him shoulder repeatedly, making that area shine golden as the area is briefly covered by the aura.
  • Beat Them at Their Own Game: Invoked by Ush, who decides to test his swords against Achtam, who also employs dual swords. Downplayed in that he cheats.
  • Big "NO!": Ush Galesh has a big one when Yugo figures out his trick and destroys the giant statue concealing the real Dofus.
  • Blessed with Suck: While Dally is initially surprised to learn that he's the Iop God, he's ultimately too stressed by this burden, especially when Amalia expects him to be able to use his powers to save the Sadida Kingdom and he just has really no idea on how to help them, nor he expects to be able to help everyone, fearing that his brute strength alone isn't enough. He gets over it after a Get A Hold Of Yourself Man moment by Eva.
  • Brainwashed and Crazy: Maskemane and Percymool are actually heroes, but Ush made them subservient using some giant flea-things latching to their back and head. He undoes the brainwashing after the battle.
  • Cliffhanger: The episode ends with the Dofus recovered, but with Sadly in danger as he prepares to take on Ogrest himself.
  • Combat Pragmatist: Ush Galesh, to the bottom: first, he tampered with the gate leading to the Ecaflip Dimension so that it leads to a precipice, loads his battlefield with many traps which are often activated by the seals he puts on his enemies, covers the battlefield with fog and even hides the true Dofus.
  • Continuity Nod:
  • Defeating the Undefeatable: In these six years, Goultard has managed to defeat Rushu and is currently using him as a footrest. This is probably one of the many events part of a general change of status quo in the lore of Wakfu and Dofus.
  • Dual Wielding: Achtam has his two, trusty katana-like swords, while Ush wields swords which are apparently made of wood and shaped to resemble the suits of heart and diamond.
  • Enemy Mine: Remington Smisse already killed Ush once and wanted revenge for his brother who was turned by him into a bow-meow. He shows up helping Ush, apparently on the condition that the latter will remove the spell on his brother.
  • Establishing Character Moment: Near the end, Ogrest is first introduced with a sad face as he pours streams of tears from his eyes... only to suddenly raise his head in fury and let out a fearsome roar of rage when he smells Sadlygrove approaching the Zinit.
  • "Eureka!" Moment: When Achtam mentions that Ush seems rather proud of his statues (which are surrounded by traps), Yugo manages to figure out where the Dofus are hidden.
  • Foreshadowing:
    • When Amalia announces that they have a God on their side, Armand thinks she's talking about Ruel.
    • When attacked by Harebourg and Sipho, Kerubim is seen reaching for an odd-looking armor before he's defeated. In Dofus, we learn that it was his best weapon, the 1001 Claws Armor.
  • Freeze-Frame Bonus: When Sadlygrove mentions that he suddenly got memories he cannot identify, we see a rapid succession of scenes from the past, including Iop's domain, Iop fighting Dragons, holding a baby Goultard in his hands and being defeated by his son Cornu Mollu. We also see Dally's birth and his first meeting with Goultard and Rubilax.
  • The Glomp: King Sheran Sharm when he meets his daughter again, Yugo and Ad when they're reunited.
  • A God Am I: The big reveal is that long ago, before even the Chaos of Ogrest, Iop enjoyed mortal life so much he renounced his title, left his powers to his son Goultard and started to live among mortals, reincarnating across time. Sadlygrove is the current incarnation of Iop, and when his children's lives were put in jeopardy he awakened most of his divine powers, retaking them from Goultard.
  • God Test: Inversion, when Dally tries to argue about his status as a god in front of the others, Amalia shoots a rapid blast of thorns at his face, which promptly dissipates on his golden aura, to underline the fact that yes, he is the real deal.
  • Green-Eyed Monster:
    • Armand always lives with the feeling that no matter how hard he strives to be a good prince, his father will always prefer Amalia to him.
    • While Ush claims that his father is nothing more than a selfish god who thinks only to himself, the Dofus spin-off implies that's because Kerubim is actually the favorite child of Ecaflip, and he resents that.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: Ush makes uses of cheats and traps to take out Achtam. In the end, it's Achtam who grabs him and drags him into one of his own traps, damaging both.
  • How We Got Here: The entire opening reveals why and how Kerubim, Achtam and Joris were captured by Harebourg.
  • Human Popsicle: Count Harebourg does this to himself to expiate his rebellion against the Siblings.
  • Hypocrite: Ush claims to be above cheating and actually says Yugo to not say vulgarities when he accuses him of cheating. Turns out, he did make sure the fight was in his favor since the beginning.
  • I Hate You, Vampire Dad: While Ush is a Demigod, he thinks little of his father, possibly because he's The Un-Favourite.
  • Jerkass: Armand, despite the crisis at hand and his issues, can't resist the urge to be a rude snarker to both his sister and Dally. Eventually Eva has enough and slaps him.
  • Kick the Dog:
    • Armand calling Sadlygrove a moron in front of his wife and children, all while the latter is actually in a moment of serious distress.
    • When Remington is knocked out cold by Kerubim, his own sword Shushu calls him a pansy.
  • Killer Rabbit: Percymool is a Puddle, and thus a gnome-sized humanoid made of water... who makes full use of his amorph body and Super-Strength to whack people into pieces with his giant hammer.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: Remington spends half the battle tormenting and chasing Kerubim, who has no weapons to defend himself against his Shushu arsenal. Eventually, the moment Remington is caught off-guard, Kerubim takes him out with a single punch and a one-liner.
  • Let's Get Dangerous!:
    • Yugo unleashing his wakfu weapons to fight Ush in the earnest.
    • In the same battle, Maskemane swaps his Coward mask for the Psychopath mask halfway through.
  • Mask Power: Maskemane the Maskeraider/Danzal, who uses special masks to improve his skills and fight better.
  • Moment of Weakness: Under the stress of having the powers of Iop and being expected to save the Sadida Kingdom, Dally claims he doesn't know what to do and proposes to Eva to just drop everything so that he can spend time with his family. Luckily, Eva talks him out of this.
  • Mood Whiplash: The serious and somber scene on the train where Dally and Eva discuss the former's godhood has a sick Amalia complaining and retching in the background.
  • Not Brainwashed: Remington Smisse is working willingly with Ush, as the demigod promised him to release his brother from the spell if they win.
  • Ocular Gushers: When we see Ogrest, it's no exaggeration to say that the tears streaming down his eyes forms twin waterfalls descending the Zinit.
  • One to Million to One: In an admittedly original example, Ush sends a menacing swirling cloud composed of... black kittens to snatch the heroes and take them to his arena.
  • Playing Card Motifs: Being an Ecaflip, Ush has a motif of card suits on his person, such as his swords being shaped like the suits of diamond and heart, or leaving a club-like mark on Yugo when he uses his magic on him.
  • Race Against the Clock: To make things more interesting, Ush has put the Dofus in the gorse-like hands of a statue, which slowly pushes them together, which is the only way to destroy (temporarily) a Dofus.
  • Sore Loser: As pointed out by Kerubim, Ush has never lost a game because he rigs them in his favor. When Yugo actually wins, Ush is bewildered and very sore, only answering a single question truthfully and begrudgingly.
  • Split-Screen Reaction: A double one showing everyone's bewildered (or, in Amalia's case, amused) faces when Rubilax reveals that Dally is actually a woman.
  • Super-Strength: Taken to a whole new level when Dally decides to use the powers of the Iop God to save the Sadida Kingdom... by physically raising the entire tract of land the Kingdom resides on above the flood, turning the plain forest into a plateau.
  • Taking You with Me: Already injured by Ush' traps, Achtam braves through his barrier to grab him and walk with him into one of the many traps surrounding the arena, taking the demigod down.
  • This Is Gonna Suck:
    • Amalia's reaction when her father is about to hug her.
    • Rubilax has a more subdued one when Sadlygrove prepares to confront Ogrest. When Sadlygrove confidently states they've faced worse, Rubi plainly states that, no, they haven't. Keep in mind, they've gone up against Rushu.
  • Ungrateful Bastard: Grany snarks at his brother's truce with Ush, despite the fact that it was done for his sake.
  • Unsettling Gender-Reveal: Played for Laughs when Goultard authorizes Rubilax to reveal to the Brotherhood the true identity of Dally, and Rubilax dramatically reveals that Dally is actually a woman. Cue to a cluster of incredulous, confused (and in Amalia's case, intrigued) reactions before the Shushu admits he was just kidding. When he reveals that he's actually Iop, Ruel snarks that compared to that, being a woman was more credible.
  • Villains Never Lie: As part of the deal, Ush is willing to answer truthfully a single question for the heroes.
  • Warts and All: Parodied when Amalia enthusiastically announce that they have a God on their side... and Armand instinctively looks at Ruel, unconvinced, before Amalia redirects him on Sadlygrove. Given what Armand thinks of him, the trope still applies.
  • Well-Intentioned Extremist: Lady Echo explains to Adamai that the Siblings hid away the Dofus because they're sure that if they're employed to stop Ogrest, the clash of the two Dofus set will destroy the world. She still entrusts the Dofus to Ad, convinced that he'll do what he can to stop his brother from abusing their powers.
  • Wham Line: Elely telling her mother that Dally "Is gone...", which means that he's gone to the root of the problem and wants to defeat Ogrest.
  • What the Hell, Hero?: Eva talking some sense into Dally when he's tempted to quit everything to just spend some time with his family.
