"Rumor Has It"

Lincoln and pals spend the day with Mr. Bolhofner.
  • A Bloody Mess: After Mr. Bolhofner claims he likes to hunt small prey, a red, blood like substance is suddenly sprayed over the windscreen. However, it's just Flippee syrup from a tipped over truck.
  • Bread, Eggs, Milk, Squick: Mr. Bolhofner's activities for fun include watching movies, playing video games,... and hunting small prey at night.
  • Dramatic Thunder: Happens when the kids see Mr. Bolhofner's hunting cabin.
  • Given Name Reveal: Lincoln's middle name turns out to be "Albert", which he shares with Pop-Pop. This suddenly contradicts his Mysterious Middle Initial "L" from S1.
  • Green Around the Gills: Clyde when he gets carsick due to Mr. Bolhofner's driving. It leads to a Vomit Discretion Shot.
  • Hidden Depths: Mr. Bolhofner of all people turns out to know how to bust a move, having picked up a few dance lessons while stranded in the Sahara with Irish step-dancers.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Under Mr. Bolhofner's tough, strict and mean shell is a man who, despite his attitude, cares about his students a great deal, to the point of fighting off a bear for their sake. He's visibly hurt when Lincoln and his friends reveal that they heard about the rumors about him and, when they make it up to him by showing their fellow schoolmates how cool he is, Mr. Bolhofner puts on a Jerkass Façade to scare the others off before giving the gang a sincere "thank you".
  • Noodle Incident: Apparently, Mr. Bolhofner was once trapped in the Sahara dessert with some Irish tap dancers.
  • Short Cuts Make Long Delays: Mr. Bolhofner trying to take a shortcut to avoid the crashed Flippee truck leads them to a deserted part of the woods. And then the car gets a flat tire, forcing the group to stay in Mr. Bolhofner's hunting cabin overnight.
  • Toilet Humor: While in Mr. Bolhofner's cabin, Liam has to use the bathroom, a result of eating homemade grits. He ends up setting off the trap intended for Mr. Bolhofner upon coming out of the bathroom.
  • Trapped the Wrong Target: When they are certain Mr. Bolhofner plans to kill them once he gets back with firewood, the kids set a trap for him. Unfortunately, Liam, who was taking a bathroom break, ends up triggering it.
  • Video Wills: When they're out in the woods with Mr. Bolhofner closing in on them, Lincoln quickly records a will on his phone in which he leaves his sisters his Ace Savvy comics.
  • What Are Records?: Zach has no idea what the landline telephone in Mr. Bolhofner's cabin is.
  • When He Smiles: Mr. Bolhofner does this at the end of the episode.

"Training Day"

Lana attempts to train Stella's destructive bunny.
  • An Arm and a Leg: Jazzy does this to Mr. Coconuts.
  • Big "NO!": Lynn does this after realizing that Jazzy tore off her ponytail.
  • Finishing Each Other's Sentences: Lana and Lola do this at the end.
  • Karma Houdini: The rabbits have committed assault, trespassing, and vandalism and didn't even get lectures just because they're animals.
  • Killer Rabbit: Stella's rabbit, Jazzy, is this. His twin Snazzy is also this, but only because both miss each other.
  • The Nose Knows: Snazzy is able to find Jazzy through smell due to them having twin powers. Lola and Lana also have this, being able to know the others exact location even when miles apart.
  • Noodle Incident: Apparently, if the parents are any indication, Lola has been going on sleepwalking rampages before, and Leni has been trapped in the car wash before.
  • Person of Mass Destruction: Or rather, Rabbit of Mass Destruction. Jazzy carves a swath of chaos across Royal Woods, while his twin Snazzy tears up Reininger's in a similar fashion.
  • Unusual Euphemism: Lana and Lola's "twin language" basically has them fire stealth insults and terminology at each other.
  • Urine Trouble: Jazzy pees on Clyde and the Loud family album.
