The one with Jenny shoplifting.

"Girl of Steal" contains examples of:

  • Beyond the Impossible: Tuck's quest for box tops has him breaking into houses that doesn't even have cereal.
  • Can't Get Away with Nuthin': Stealing a Musique instantly makes Jenny guilt-ridden, and even after coming clean, she gets overwhelmed by an angry mob and is forced to work community service at a Musique factory.
  • iPhony: The Musique is very obviously meant to be a stand in for Apple products (there's even a disco scene where everything is colored like the original iPod ads).
  • Immediate Self-Contradiction: "I think everyone should have [a Musique]! ...Except you, XJ-9, they're too expensive."
  • Keeping Secrets Sucks: Jenny successfully steals a Musique... but then quickly realizes she can't flaunt it because she'll be easily busted for it.
  • Mocking Music: Jenny can't show off her Musique, but she can still listen to it! And then the radio function plays songs with thieving allegories.
  • Read the Fine Print: After days of grinding cereal box tops, Tuck tries to cash them all in at the Musique store, despite the manager telling him that he had to mail them in as stated on the fine print.
  • Serious Business: People treat the Musique like a sacred cow, with Brad even going on a tangent stating that it's more than a music player.
  • Talking to Themself: Jenny fabricates the Ruby Rocket persona as a scapegoat to her crime, so she had to do a lot of back and forth hero-banter with herself just to keep up illusions.
  • That Poor Plant:
Brad: It even reminds you to take a shower! I have mine set for once a week whether I need it or not!
[the plant Brad has just walked past keels over dead]
  • Torches and Pitchforks: Played for laughs, as the Skyway Patrol-endorsed angry mob acts in a respectful door-to-door salesman-like fashion.

Mist Opportunities

The one with Misty turning bad.

"Mist Opportunities" contains examples of:

  • The Bus Came Back: Both the giant mole monster from "A Pain In My Sidekick" and Infrared Ivan from "See No Evil" makes reappearances as monsters to be subdued by Misty.
  • Call-Back: When Sheldon talks about his distrust of Misty, one of the things he brought up was that Misty initially wanted Jenny to bail Earth when she first appeared.
  • Downer Ending: The episode concludes with Jenny having a falling out with Misty after realizing that she's become selfish and only willing to save lives for personal gain. And sadly, since the series was Cut Short, we never got to see them reconcile.
  • Good-Times Montage: With Misty taking over as Tremorton's hero, Brad mentions that it's the perfect time for Jenny to do the things an average teen does without interruption. Cure the happy music over scenes of Jenny goofing off.
  • Killer Rabbit: A bunny with super strength and laser eyes attacks the town. He mops the floor with Jenny, who had been slacking off on her training. Eventually, an entire herd of them shows up.
  • The Only One Allowed to Defeat You: Misty stops the rabbit from finishing off Jenny because she picked a fight with her. She drops that after Jenny invokes We Used to Be Friends.
  • Worf Had the Flu: Jenny's fight against both the Killer Rabbit and Misty would've gone smoother had Jenny still kept up her workout and maintenance during her downtime.
