Go To

Kerry invites Adam to go paintballing with her at Stinging Sensation tomorrow. That night, Jake, Slips, and Windsor drop by Adam's house for an unexpected sleepover and keep him up all night.

  • Blatant Lies: Jake promising Adam that they wouldn't be staying up too late.
  • Bread, Eggs, Breaded Eggs: Slips, when he botches up his prank call to Bull Sharkowski.
Slips: Is your Prince Albert running? Uh, I mean, is your refrigerator in a can? Uh, I mean, this is Principal Pixiefrog and we'll be having school next week, so make sure you're there.
  • Brick Joke: At the end of the episode, Principal Pixiefrog is seen taking a vacation, in referencing to him falling for a prank call, telling him that school would be cancelled the following week.
  • Bullying a Dragon: Slips made the fatal mistake of prank calling Bull.
    Bull: You're dead, Slips!
  • Dream Sue: Adam dreams himself as a muscular, G.I. Joe like character, completely killing it at paintball, and having Kerry melt like butter in his hands.
  • Dreaming of Things to Come: Adam dreamed about playing paintball with Kerry, tomorrow.
  • Exhausted Eye Bags: When Adam was deprived of sleep for long enough, he got these.
  • Foreign Queasine: The animals put bugs on their pizza as toppings, much to Adam's disgust.
  • Have I Mentioned I Am Heterosexual Today?: Adam woke up from a daydream in class, and found himself kissing Jake on the cheek. (He was kissing Kerry in his dream) Jake responded with. "Don't get me wrong, Adam. You're a good friend, and I like you. (hyper masculine voice) But not that way."
  • I Was Having Such a Nice Dream: A running gag was that Adam kept being woken up from his romantic dreams.
  • Insomnia Episode: Perfect example, as the majority of the plot revolved around Adam trying to get some sleep, but waking up on account of his friends.
  • Invisible Parents: Even though this episode mainly took place at Adam's house, we never saw his parents. Of course, it was easily explained that they were asleep at the time.
  • The Maiden Name Debate: Ingrid asked Lupe, what she thought about the name, "Ingrid Lyon".
Lupe: Ew, that's gross! Hmm, Seniora Lupe Spidermonkey.
  • Mirror Monologue: Adam practiced the things he'd say to Kerry on their date, in front of his bathroom mirror.
  • Missed the Call: In the end, Adam slept through the scheduled time for paintball with Kerry.
  • Our Werewolves Are Different: Windsor explains the difference between a werewolf and a wolf man.
Windsor: Based on my research, they're both of the lycanthrope genus, though their methods of transmutation often differ.
  • Paintball Episode: Sort of, but the paintball action really only occurred during Adam's dream sequences.
  • Prank Call: One of the things they did at the sleepover. Windsor described the nature of the classic sleepover tradition, with such excellently.
Windsor: It's well known that a key component of any successful sleepover is the "prank" or "crank" phone call. I read that the most common targets of such telecommunication tom foolery are female associates, school rivals, and authority figures.
  • Real Men Wear Pink: Most of the sleepover activities involved toenail painting, getting facials, and looking through teen magazines.
  • Rule of Three: After two failed prank calls, where the caller pretends to be Principal Pixiefrog, Jake finally took a whack at it and did a spot-on Principal Pixiefrog impression. Unfortunately, the person he chose to call was Principal Pixiefrog, himself. Fortunately, Principal Pixiefrog still fell for it.
  • Shirtless Scene: Adam was a shirtless commando fighter in his dreams.
  • Slumber Party: Ingrid and Lupe were having a sleepover of their own, over at the Zoo Aquarium.
  • Smitten Teenage Girl: Turns out Ingrid and Lupe, have the hots for Adam and Jake, respectively.
  • Spell My Name With An S: The spelling of Kerry's name is shown in this episode.
  • Spinning Clock Hands: Done to show the passage of time, while Adam was kept awake.
  • Super-Strong Child: Adam imagines himself as this in his dream.
  • Vine Swing: Adam's dream included him swooping in on a vine to save Kerry.
