Being the very first of The Abridged Series, as well as coming from a series that already has its fair share of memes, you can bet this web show has several memetic moments that nearly outweigh Kaiba's massive ego in scope. Keep in mind, we said nearly.

• "Screw the Rules, I Have Money!"^Explanation Kaiba's now-infamous response to Yugi pointing out that he was breaking the rules by summoning a bunch of monsters in one turn. Became Hilarious in Hindsight with the introduction of Pendulum Summoning in the game proper, which lets you summon a bunch of monsters in one turn without screwing the rules.
• Invisible guns.^Explanation A jab at one of 4Kids Entertainment's more questionable attempts at censorship, which basically amounted to editing guns out without changing anything else.
• Children's card games!^Explanation A Running Gag about the show treating Duel Monsters, which ostensibly is a "children's card game" in real life, as Serious Business.
• "Brooklyn Rage!"^Explanation Yugi and company beg Joey not to make this his Character Catchphrase. It caught on among the fans anyway. Even Wayne Grayson, Joey's VA in the dub of the actual show, got in on the act.
• "Nyeh!"^Explanation Joey's distinctive Verbal Tic.
• "My voice gives me super strength!"
• "Attention, duelists! My hair is now an internet phenomenon!"
• "In America!"^Explanation Bandit Keith's Character Catchphrase, taking the character's Eagleland imagery even further.
• "CARD GAMES ON MOTORCYCLES!"^Explanation As far as this series is concerned, this is what Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds is all about. Consequently, it's nigh-impossible to discuss 5D's without someone dropping this line.
• "KILL YOUR FAMILY. KILL YOUR FAMILY. KILL YOUR FAMILY."^Explanation In YGOTAS, Melvin has his own show called the "Kill Your Family Show", where he repeats the phrase "KILL YOUR FAMILY" over and over. People have edited this into the TV's of other shows.
• "No homo right?" "ALL OF THE HOMO!"
• "RIIIIGHT, idon'tbelieveyou!"
• "OH MY GOD A GIANT ROCK!"
• "Did I just watch a snuff film?"^Explanation Kaiba's response to seeing a home video of Noah where he's hit and killed by a car.
• "AH, EXODIA, IT'S NOT POSSIBLE! NO ONE HAS EVER BEEN ABLE TO SUMMON HIM!"^Explanation From Kaiba's Villainous Breakdown when Yugi summons Exodia in the first episode.
• "Binky-boy!"
• When's the next episode? ^Explanation Much like the Youtube "first" phenomenon, this has become a common phrase posted on LK's videos due to his Schedule Slip. He originally promised one new episode per week, but that has slowed to one episode every couple months. Right now, it seems to be uploaded around the 15th of every other month.
• [actual 4kids dialogue]^Explanation Used for lines from the actual dub that sound like something LittleKuriboh would write for this series.
• Ancient Egyptian Laser Beams.
• "If you lose the Duel... you lose your soul!"^Explanation The Seal of Orichalcos's power, as summarized by Tristan. Repeatedly.
• The entire scene where Yami overkills the crap out of Weevil.
  • "DURRAAW!! MONSTAA CAADO."^Explanation While this Gratuitous English line from Yami's beatdown of Weevil in the original version was already a meme, it gained new life when LittleKuriboh did his own rendition of it in his Dan Green impression for the Abridged Series.
  • "MOU YAMETE! YUGI!" "HANASE!" ^Explanation Tea begging Yami to stop attacking Weevil and Yami shouting at her to let go, quoted directly from the original, Japanese and all.
  • "It doesn't matter if I win, lose, or DURRAAW!! MONSTAA CAADO!"
  • "FOR THE RECORD I DREW ANOTHER MONSTER CARD!"
• "What a digital dummy!"
• "Another victory for America"
• "Why so British?"
• "King of Games, bitch!"
• DOODALALALALALALALALA! ^Explanation The sound Kuriboh makes. It's actually a Shout-Out to Perfect Hair Forever
  • That is an annoying Kuriboh.
  • DODALA Mother(bleep)er!

• TESTING! TESTING! ONE....TWO....THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! ^Explanation Jack Atlas in the 5Ds one-shot is so loud that his yelling caused the Zero Reverse Incident, cleaving New Domino city in half.
  • Strange thing was that the mic wasn't even plugged in.
• Dartz: Scwew the weuwules, I have the Shiibaldahhhbaladoobalabadah!

  Kaiba: ...The hell did he just say?
  Yami: I don't know, but they're gonna make a shirt of it!
