Despite how dark the story was, it still had a ton of funny moments. The moments are listed below:

• The fic opens with Cardin and Russel recreating Mike and Sulley's intro in Monsters, Inc.
• Team RWBY and Team JNPR's reactions to various Christmas carols. Highlights include:
  • Ruby not being sure if the heart in "Last Christmas" is literal or figurative.
  • Weiss being sick of hearing "All I Want For Christmas Is You" after hearing it three times.
  • Blake thinking that Santa is creepy. Luigi admits she has a point.
  • Yang being weirded out over "I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas".
  • Nora wanting to know what figgy pudding is.
  • Jaune having no clue what "Let It Go" is about.
  • Ren thinking that "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer" is way too cheerful for what it's about.
  • Much like Weiss, Pyrrha is sick of hearing "Frosty The Snowman".
• Ruby not realizing that Peach actually wasn't kidnapped this time.
• When Luigi realizes that Phazon is called the "great poison", he tries to think of an excuse to get out of it. However, his friends chime in with any excuse he could think of because they've heard it all before.

  Weiss: You left the oven on?

  Blake: You have a stomachache at this convenient moment?

  Mario: You left the fridge open and all the pasta is getting spoiled?

  Ruby: You forgot to give your Pokemon food for the day?

  Yang: You're about to go into a Smash match?

  Nora: Face it, bud... we've all heard it before.

  • Luigi comes up with an excuse that leaves even Daisy in shock.
    Luigi: I... I... I'M ABOUT TO HAVE A BABY! *runs off while everyone turns to Daisy*
    Daisy: Wait... what...? I... HUH? Okay, THAT'S a new one!
    Makoto: Are you really pregnant?
    Daisy: NO! ...As far as I know!
• Nora proceeds to grill the "intergalactic greenhorns" into being careful about traveling in space. Of course, some of them don't take her seriously and mention how fun it could be as with Byleth teaching Garreg Mach about space travel or Gloria wouldn't be quiet about it, according to Bede, much to Nora's dismay.
  • And then they go to Sky Station Galaxy and Nora proceeds to break her own wrist while being careless. Those watching in the Observatory facepalm at her carelessness.
    Palutena: Well, that didn't take long...
    Umber: *sarcastically applauding* Way to go. Waaaay to go, lightning rod.
    • JNX proceed to place bets on how long it'd take for Nora to bite it.
    Nyx: A hundred lien that Nora is gonna bite it.
    Jade: Two hundred that it's going to be in the first galaxy, AKA Sky Station Galaxy.
    Xena: Four hundred that it'll be a botched landing from a Launch Star.
    Both: FOUR?!
    Dark Xena: Hi, I'm betting too.
    (Later on, Nora bites it)
    Nyx: Pay up~! *The Xenas and Jade hand over the lien* Thank you!
• Doc being forgotten again despite telling the heroes where he was.
  • Sister also gets accidentally left behind as well.
• Lubba's ship turns into Mario's face, which results in everyone playfully making fun of Mario for having an ego, much to the plumber's dismay.
• Ibuki and Grif mock the heck out of Disney for not putting it past them for buying a planet and shaping it like Mickey Mouse. Caboose, being Caboose, mistakenly thinks Grif is Walt Disney himself.

  Caboose: Walt Disney, is that you?!

  Grif: No Caboose, it's me... Grif!

  Caboose: Walt Disney reincarnated as Grif?! I should've known!

  Sarge: He did?! Then why are the parks expensive as hell! Not to mention the lines are comically and atrociously long! Two hours to wait in line for Space Mountain?! That's barbaric!

  Grif: I AM NOT WALT DISNEY!

• Lillie plays with a Chance Cube and accidentally covers an entire planet in Phazon, causing her to book it and shove everyone into a Launch Star.
• After Ibuki uses the Spin Drill to turn herself into a humanoid Excadrill, she says she's back and kicking ass like usual again and to turn up the rock music. She then says "Hit it, Nan-chan!" which prompts the music to be "Breaking the Silence" (Chaos Angel)
• This exchange after Ibuki tunnels through the Spin Dig planet and pops up in front of a Luma:

  Luma: "Yagh!"

  Ibuki (grinning): "Digging is fun~!"

  Luma: "Where did you come from?!"

  Ibuki: "Well, you see, Ibuki came from-"

  Luma (transforming into Launch Star) "Nope! Don't need to hear that!"

  Ibuki: "What? Ibuki was saying she came from Spike Chunsoft." *shrugs*

• Jaune and Pyrrha meet Hat Kid and her friends, and at one point, they realize that the Conductor is Scottish.

  Pyrrha: ...Jaune...

  Jaune: Yup, I heard it too.

  Both of them thinking at once: Oh dear Oum, he's Scottish.

• At the end of the chapter, after Dimentio revealed himself to everyone, Hat Kid's ship arrives at the Observatory, but what were her first words to them?

  Hat Kid: Hey uh... is this a burger joint?

• The Conductor and Gloria instantly hitting it off upon learning that they're both Scottish and Hop, Bede and Hau's reactions.
• Yusuke asking Aqua to be his muse for a painting. She agrees at first until she learns that he wanted her to be nude, this results in Aqua kicking him in the shin.
  • However, Palutena doesn't mind being his muse, much to Pit's chagrin. Dark Pit points out this is normal in Greek culture and then says that they should cover Palutena up because there could be children reading the story. Ibuki comes running in and throws up a shower curtain behind Yusuke telling "Dark Pit-chan" she's got him covered and that the story's gonna stay Rated T!
• Roy Mustang planned changes to the Galactic Federation was all females were required to wear tiny mini skirts and also female officers requiring to wear skimpy bathing suits. This results in a hilarious reaction from the female heroes who proceed to beat him up for that. The exceptions are Yang and Coco who both shared curiosity on that.
  • Samus mentions that while she doesn't really mind wearing a skimpy bathing suit, she proceeds to beat him up because she doesn't do miniskirts.
• When asked about square dancing, Rosalina mentions she believes you simply draw a square and dance inside the square. Cue the Reds and Blues immediately huddling together and suggesting they introduce her to the Western genre. Then when Simmons decides to see if Toad Town has any John Wayne movies, Ibuki pops in and hands him a DVD containing all the John Wayne movies, prompting this reaction:

  Grif: Where did she…?

  Reds/Blues: It's Ibuki, don't question it/Es Ibuki, no lo cuestiones.

  Grif: Right, right…

• Several of the gang's reactions to the Dash Pepper, specifically how hot it is...and Umber No Selling it because he thinks Tamato Berries are hotter.
• Team Yell vs. Team Skull. 'Nuff said.
• Seryu failing to be a threat and not being able to harm the Nergigante.
• Yang offering Zinogre Ruby a bone and making a pun before being hit by said bone.
• Kokoro's cat Yukina uppercutting Serris and surprisingly manages to harm the eel to everyone's surprise.
• When Zinnia is recounting how she befriended Rayquaza, she repeatedly throws a Master Ball at him only for him to bat it away and it lasts all night and straight into the next day! Then when she says that Rayquaza is territorial because in his mind all Smashers approach his lake in a hostile way, Zinnia asks " If you just come to him and say "I come in peace" or something like that, the misunderstanding will go away. Seriously, have you guys even thought about calming him down, saying "you mean no harm"?"

  Cue the gang staring at Zinnia, all of them having a "you gotta be kidding" look on their faces

  Palutena: Well... this is awkward...

  Zinnia: sighs Oh, for the love of Arceus...

• How does Blake get her revenge on Serris? Summer cooks it into a soup and Blake gleefully eats it.
• When a Whittle reveals what the Blimp Fruit does (turns you into a balloon and allows you to float safely), Mario, Ibuki, Gloria, Yoshi, Hat Kid, Cardin and Ruby all back away slowly. Then, Ibuki walks over to the fruit, picks it up, licks her lips...only to stop and ask the readers "Really, did you really expect Ibuki to have this for herself?" before shoving it into Yoshi's mouth.
• Cardin putting a Spiny on his head while skateboarding down Tall Trunk's Big Slide, causing the latter to be absolutely terrified and then a Purple Comet shows up, scaring it even more and after Cardin grabs all of the Purple Coins, he sets the Spiny down, who uncontrollably shakes and then passes out.
• Summer stressing out over who Tai could be dating prompting Raven to grab her, throw her over her shoulder and leaping into a Launch Star and heading to Beat Block Galaxy.
• Iggy's idea of how to knock out Serpentina: A recreation of the luau scene from The Lion King. Complete with ideas on what the group should do.
• Zinogre Ruby hilariously beating up Yang because her sister didn't mention chocolate could kill dogs.
• The fight vs Wendy and Draygon ending very quickly due to the latter's infamous weakness to electricity. Not to mention when the boss card starts up, Phosphora abruptly destroys Draygon and says the title card was taking too long.
• This part from Ibuki vs. Dark Samus:

  Ibuki: You only live because you have villainous Plot Armor, but Ibuki will definitely revoke it when the time comes... she could do it right now but Nan-chan won't let her!

  Author: (Hey, don't drag me into this!)

  • And then the author's note:
    Author: Did ya have to drag me into it?
    Ibuki: Yes! *innocent smile*
    Author: *sweatdrops*
• It's easy to miss since it comes during the Supernova Rosalina scene, but why hasn't Chiaki made it to the Comet Observatory yet? Because she's been too busy playing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
• Calasmos having Malicious Seer perform a Kamikazee spell on Dark Samus, leaving her completely covered in soot with the latter stating how much she hates him.
• Chiaki emerging from an X-Wing in Darth Vader's Outfit and the Reds, Blues, the Phantom Thieves, Sora and Riku thinking she's the real deal! Sarge, of course, offers up Grif in "sacrifice", so Chiaki Force Chokes Grif, without actually Force Choking him. Makoto then points out that "Vader" is a little too small, not to mention feminine.
• Morton being the only Koopa to not be hit by Phazon, turns out he had wet paint on him by accident. Suffice to say Dark Samus got hilariously posed before getting owned by Morton's hammer.
• Yang deciding to test Chiaki to see if she really is worthy of being called the Ultimate Gamer. Several curb stomps later, Yang concedes.
• Hop summing up the events of the previous chapters to Bowser in the style of Luis's ramblings from Ant-Man and Ant-Man and the Wasp followed by Bowser letting out a Big "WHAT?!" when he finds out that Dimentio brainwashed Mario.
• The Disney chapter is naturally a barrel of laughs. Highlights include:
  • Mickey gets called out for building theme parks while Aqua was still trapped in the Realm of Darkness.
  • When Sarge tries to stop Grif from going to the park while they are in the middle of a war, Grif reminds him that he can ride Space Mountain. Cue Sarge throwing his gun down to board the Launch Star.
  • Mikan, Hiyoko and Ibuki struggling to keep Chiaki from being spoiled on anything that came out since her death.
  • Ed, Hat Kid, the Conductor, DJ Grooves, and Zhang trying to sneak onto a rollercoaster they are all too short to ride.
  • Jaune finally learning what "Let It Go" is about when Team JNPR attends a showing of the movie.
  • Weiss, Whitley and Ling wondering what's so bad about It's a Small World. Five seconds later, all of them are screaming in pain over the song.
    • Doom Slayer later blows it up.
  • Due to her outfit, Ruby gets held captive by the Queen of Hearts...and discovers that literally everyone else in the group wearing red was as well. Pyrrha even says that she was nowhere near the castle when she got grabbed.
  • Neptune very much not liking any of the living toys or cars throughout the park.
  • How does the chapter end? Due to a joke Marnie made, Bowser takes over the park.
• Bowser doing his Sexy Bowser pose for Yusuke and traumatizing everyone who sees it (except Kamek)
• Elsa freezing Tucker and Pyhrron for being themselves.
• Mikan and Ibuki's unenthusiastic reaction to the Wii version of Rainbow Road being part of the Rainbow Road Galaxy.
• Samus insisting that the gang did not shrink on PNF-404 despite all evidence to the contrary (such as the characters outright saying they shrunk!)
• There's something hilariously carthartic about Wolf calling Dark Samus an idiot to her face once it's revealed Star Wolf was pretending to be on Dark Samus's side.
• Ibuki demanding to know who gave Chiaki Doki Doki Literature Club!.
• After Yukari beats Dark Samus via slamming three exploding freight trains into the latter and then Gapping Dark Samus's own Zero Laser onto her, Salem is revealed to have been witnessing this via Seer Grimm and with a hint of a terrified expression, pulls out a piece of paper reading "Worlds to Conquer: Gensokyo, Pop Star" and crosses off Gensokyo followed by Pop Star just in case. Followed by this exchange:

  Salem: That's a hell no for me.

  Aria: Is something wrong, Lady Salem?

  Salem: It's nothing of your concern, Aria.

• Ibuki and Doom Guy tap dancing on Dark Samus's ashes after the latter is killed by Cinder.
• After it's used to remove the Phazon corruption, the Star Cure is stolen by a certain goose, with the name of its game sending Chiaki into a laughing fit.
• Ridley's punishment for everything he did? Being removed from the roster and forced to be Samus' personal butler, complete with maid outfit.
• Chiaki gets really salty when she collected 900 Korok Seeds for nothing.
