Warning: Spoilers are not applied to these pages. Proceed at your own risk.

In General
  • Kiyoshiro's terror at simply everything ranging from the actions of the Digimon themselves or simply hearing the rumors or stories.

Episode 1

  • The fact that Hiro just happens to always carry tools to lockpick with in order to see a crime scene, simply because his friend asked him to.

Episode 2

  • To investigate the museum after its open hours, Hiro and Gammamon hide out in a bathroom stall. Gammamon takes the opportunity to wrap himself in toilet paper, leading to Hiro asking if he's trying to make himself a mummy.

Episode 4

  • Gammamon mishears "trick or treat" as "turkey treatment", and shouts it whenever something spooky happens.

Episode 5

  • While Kiyoshiro is (rightfully) frightened by what looks like blood on his room's ceiling, Gammamon, after eating some of its drops, realizes that it's ketchup. Jellymon just finds Kiyoshiro's panic funny.
  • Turns out the reason Kiyoshiro came back to Japan after getting a Master's degree in America was that he was so in love with school anime that he wanted a dorm senpai school life. Jellymon mocks him over this.
  • During Majiramon's attack, everyone is frightened or scared by the white snakes that appear... except for Gammamon, who holds several of them in his hands and is sad when they leave the room.

Episode 6

  • Youkomon complains about people showing up at her shrine to either worship her or spot her as a hologram ghost. When Hiro tries to ask her for information on the digital world, Youkomon declares that she's taking a nap and leaves.
  • While investigating the rumors about the karaoke ghost, Hiro and Ruli run into Kiyoshiro, who's scared; however, he hasn't run into the ghost but is scared shitless by the rumor itself. Jellymon mocks him over it, natch.
  • Hiro is able to get Sirenmon to stop fighting by singing in a manner similar to her. This surprisingly touches her heart.

Episode 7

  • Gammamon spends the entire episode trying to get revenge on Yatagaramon because one of its crows stole his chocolate.

Episode 8

  • Just the fact that Sistermon Ciel, whose profile usually calls her one of the most docile Digimon, and is also dressed as a baby-blue mouse-themed nun, is portrayed here as a loud-mouthed, thrill-seeking, maniac driver who's willing to go after anyone in her way with a katana.

Episode 10

  • Ginkakumon's reaction to the news that he doesn't need to capture souls to turn into booze in the human world, he can just buy some.
    Ginkakumon: WHAT?!

Episode 11

  • Kiyoshiro refuses to even acknowledge Ruli's distress call because he's returning from a shopping trip and his train has a sign instructing its riders to not answer their phones. This despite the fact he appears to be the only one note  onboard...
Kiyoshiro: A dorm leader needs to follow the rules.
(cut to Ruli hiding as several bamboo trees are cut down behind her.)
    Ruli: That useless idiot!
  • When Angoramon is at the gathering of Digimon he's been frequenting, he asks if they have lemon for his tea. In comes a Labramon carrying a lemon in its mouth, and adds some of the juice to Angoramon's tea... by biting down on the lemon and letting lemon juice and its own drool drip down onto the beverage. A grossed-out Angoramon's forced smile and strained voice are hilarious as he thanks the Labramon and says he'll drink the tea later.

Episode 12

  • A bit of dark humor comes from Jellymon fear in this ep. Zassoumon/Weedmon drink up water in order to grow, even drinking the moisture in living beings to do so. Jellyfishes however are mostly made up of water, so to them, Jellymon's a whole meal. And that's darkly hilarious.
Kiyoshiro: You do look like a collection of water molecules.
Hiro: No wonder Jellymon hates them.

Episode 15

  • After Ruli activated her second Phantom Zone, which turns everything into a snowy landscape. For some reason, both Hiro and Kiyoshiro decided that the fastest way to her is to ride a sled pulled by Gammamon acting as the husky.
  • This episode has a scene where Angoramon, in ghost form, is driving a forklift. Just the absurdity of an ordinary person seeing a forklift seemingly rolling around on its own is enough to make the list.

Episode 18

  • Hiro ends up tripping on the vacuum robot in his room. Gammamon then proceeds to ride on it like a cat.
  • The "monster of the week" in this episode is Petermon, an adult-stage Digimon who doesn't want any child to grow up, including child-stage Digimon. There's a hilarious sheer irony in an adult who hates "being an adult". Context-wise the Adult level is at most, a teenager for Digimon standards, but still.

Episode 19

  • After Pixiemon declares he will go back into the past and erase them, he picks Gammamon first. Only to come back five seconds later badly beaten up, clearly having met GulusGammamon.

Episode 20

  • The sheer Mood Whiplash at the beginning of the episode, from seeing a man reduced to ash to the cute and cuddly park mascots.

Episode 22

  • Just before Jellymon forces him into Pillomon's dream, Kiyoshiro manages to send a text to Hiro calling for backup. Cue Gilligan Cut to Hiro and Gammamon stuck at the phone store getting Hiro's phone repaired because Gammamon decided to bite it.
    • The best part? Hiro is lecturing Gammamon like a dad lecturing his toddler. Bribes included!
Hiro: Rule number three. Don't bite the phone.
Gammamon: I remember that now, Hiro. So gimme my champion!
Hiro: You'll get chocolate after my phone is fixed.
  • When SkullGreymon regenerates, Kiyoshiro, Ruli, TeslaJellymon, SymbareAngoramon, and Bakumon want to get out and yell at Pillomon to wake up in a panic very similar to Kiyoshiro's.
  • For the very first time in the series, Jellymon finally gets reprimanded for her actions that tend to drag everyone into trouble. Made more hilarious by the fact that the one reprimanding her is Bakumon, a character who is a recurring one, but doesn't show up that often. Yet unlike the kids, he's smart enough to instantly understand that the fault is on Jellymon.

Episode 23

  • Hiro managed to "cure" Gammamon by feeding him a mix of various hot sauces, all at once. The scene is funny enough already, but considering all of them came from his pantry (one is even an entire jar of sauce he made himself), it's also funny to imagine how much of a spicy food lover Hiro might be.

Episode 24

Episode 28

  • Jellymon does her best tribute to Jigglypuff by doodling on Kiyoshiro's faceless head while Gammamon, Angoramon, and Hiro are trying to confront Asuramon. Clearly, no form of Body Horror inflicted on her partner can scare her.
  • One that's also awesome: Angoramon manages to get Asuramon to give back all the faces he took simply by asking. All because Asuramon was wearing Hiro's face!
    • Bonus points: Hiro is completely confused when he gets his face back and Asuramon is screaming about how Hiro tricked him.
      Hiro: What just happened?

Episode 32

  • The Betsumon are ridiculous and difficult to take seriously before or when they're taking over everyone in Hiro's dorm. It's especially jarring when this absurd scene happens after Gammamon suffers from an identity crisis and Meicoomon ceases to exist after being impersonated by one of the Betsumon.
  • While also awesome, Gammamon manages to foil the Betsumon horde's plans... by beating one of them in an eating contest.
  • When CanoWeissmon uses Meteorax, the Betsumon fly into the air like ragdolls while laughing and then slam into the screen.

Episode 33

  • Kiyoshiro hits his head on a curb and is whisked into an emergency room. It turns out the doctor admitting him in is one of the Betsumon doing so on Clockmon's orders, and none of the gang are amused by this.
  • TeslaJellymon is able to defeat Sepikmon and get him out of Kiyoshiro's head...but after she de-evolves back to Jellymon she pulls him into Earth because she wants to torture him even more. Even Gammamon wants to join in. Problem is, while Angoramon is holding him, Ruli's gone all Cuteness Proximity on him and is too busy gushing over how cute he looks.

Episode 34

  • Ruli spends half the episode turned into a gecko human. So naturally, when she turns back at the end, she has no idea what's going on!

Episode 40

  • How does Hiro trick Gammamon into revealing that he was the one who bit Hiro's tablet? Offering him chocolate and then when Gammamon happily jumps forward, Hiro shoves the broken tablet in Gammamon's mouth, revealing that the bite marks match.

Episode 43

  • Eyesmon is a very disturbing Digimon, but when he's acting through Emma, it doesn't sound any different from how she is supposed to act and it can come across as quite entertaining, especially since this completely fails to alert the heroes that something is wrong, to begin with. It's a stark contrast compared to his other victims who are outright creepy.
  • When in a powerless and seemingly harmless state, Eyesmon childishly protests that he was "only trying to get people to get knowledge for him" (even if this is a very dangerous Digimon who likely killed at least one person down the way). Kiyoshiro jokingly compares him to Emma for being so nosy that she would definitely make a perfect target for him.
  • The very thought of a fragment of the disturbing and intimidating Eyesmon, also a destructive beast in the 2020 Digimon Adventure reboot, being trapped in an insect enclosure and toyed by Gammamon like he was a pet beetle or lizard.

Episode 44

  • The "Reward Elf" site's real name is "MY NO JE LL". That's an anagram of "JELLYMON" — she created that site for the Andiramon!
    • Doubly funny: as revealed when Hiro visits the website a few scenes later, she even uses her Gratuitous English Verbal Ticnote  in text form.

Episode 45

  • Kiyoshiro has made Gammamon and Ryudamon fans of D-Topi, even showing Hiro the dance/intro for the group.
Kiyoshiro: A cooll gaze with a blazing heart! it's everyone's leader, Asuka!
Ryudamon: I'm gonna capture your heart! It's everyone's princess, Mayuri!
    Gammamon: Uh... Little sister!
Kiyoshiro: (whispering to Gammamon) Coming from the planet of sweet girls! Everyone's little sister...
    Gammamon: Anna! Um, I'm—
Kiyoshiro and Ryudamon: We are D-topics!
    Gammamon: Topics!
  • Later, when the group is preparing to speak with D-Topi because of the PubliNews article, Gammamon flies up to them. While Asuka and Mayuri wonder what Gammamon is, Anna succumbs to Cuteness Proximity and happily hugs Gammamon, to the surprise and shock of Hiro, Ruli, and Kiyo. The very next scene has Anna rubbing an all too eager Gammamon's belly like he was a puppy.

Episode 46

  • After being defeated and sent to Clockmon offscreen, the Digimon of the Week, Oleamon, starts a web cooking show showcasing her making and eating foul-smelling food.

Episode 49

  • When the main cast are tracking Aoi and Shiori, a black cat familiar attacks Espimon trying to eat him like a rat. The cat fails to even scrape his metallic hull and he tells it that he's not a rat before escaping with Divanish.
  • Just the fact that Witchmon sounds like a bratty teenager at the end of it all.

Episode 50

  • When a wholesale Meicrackmon Vicious Mode was having lunch with Fukatsu, other students are just staring at them instead of visibly reacting with horror despite the feline monstrosity's presence. When Meicrackmon gets angered, the students next to them simply move slowly to the other side of the cafeteria, and the rest stare at the two with uncomfortable eyes.
  • Meicrackmon Vicious Mode sleeping in bed with Riku, taking up most of the space, is as awkward as it is hilarious.

Episode 51

  • When DarkKnightmon finishes explaining how he lost his head (it was lopped off by a digital gate closing on it), Ruli quietly chuckles to herself. Angoramon isn't pleased and tells her not to be rude.
  • For some reason, Ruli offers DarkKnightmon her roll of tape to fix his broken chest crest as if it'll help. Even funnier is just how tiny it is compared to him.

Episode 54

  • How did the group manage to locate Octmon? A smartphone game the Digimon and Kiyoshiro are playing. That's right. Digimon now play smartphone games as we humans do!

Episode 55

  • Jellymon and Espimon release all the cats brainwashed into monsters by Bastemon by burning celery and olives into Silver Vine. When Bastemon was sweeping the floor with Airdramon and Espimon, Jellymon as Thetismon uses the window to replicate an actual silver vine so Bastemon gets stunned, snapping Lamortmon out of his brainwashing and giving an opportunity for Canoweissmon to land the finishing blow.

Episode 56

  • Kuzuhamon's justification of "exorcising" (read:flat-out murdering) the entire population of Hiro's town, as she explains to Ruli. It's just so ridiculous especially that it came out from an Ultimate-level reality-warping Digimon.
"At six years and eleven months old, you broke your promise with your mother, and ate three sweets instead of one. At nine years and three months, you dirtied a library book but returned it to the shelf as it is. 368 days ago, you were late to meet your friends by 18 minutes. 209 days ago, you slept during class. 107 days, you separated your trash incorrectly...you have 107,231 Impurities."

Episode 57

  • There's something very darkly humorous about Kotaro being The Chew Toy for all sorts of Digimon when even one of the Seven Great Demon Lords decided to have a share of him too.

Episode 61

  • The majority of the incident is played as seriously and horrifically as possible, but when Kiyoshiro is sleeping, Jellymon jokingly tells Espimon that she wants to turn Kotoha's household into a haunted house attraction.

Episode 63

  • Espimon snatching Gammamon's snacks when the latter was listening to Ruli about her accidentally eating "something crunchy".
Gammamon: My champion is the best! (notices his chocolate is gone) Where did my champions go?!
  • There's something heartwarming and funny about the idea of a Quartzmon, who in his previous incarnation managed to assimilate nearly every single human and Digimon for reference, being a caretaker of a ton of Baby-level Digimon, with the image of him letting an Upamon affectionately rub up on his massive finger in contrast of the horrific nature of his incident being a heartwarmingly unexpected sight for many fans.

Episode 64

  • The episode is largely devoid of comical moments, but when Ruli and Kiyoshiro are discussing about the Digital World gates with Clockmon, Angoramon's acquaintances and a group of Digimon who just arrived to the human world, Floramon tells Kiyoshiro a ghost story about people vanishing into the mist to freak him out as Labramon pounces on him.

Episode 67

  • Oddly enough, GulusGammamon in Gammamon's body after his defeat, in part because he's acting unusually childish.
    • Not to mention the fact that Gammamon gets to boss around his other self now. By his own rules, GulusGammamon now has to be loyal to him and play by Gammamon's rules. There's giving the Big Bad a Heel–Face Turn, and then there's having it be brought about by the resident Badass Adorable among the heroes.
    • When GulusGammamon realizes he's finally been defeated and meets Gammamon in his mental space again, Gammamon just gives him the smuggest possible grin. And who can blame him? He certainly earned it!
  • According to GulusGammamon, the so-called "Endbringer" will arrive in around 2000 years. Hiro and the others are relieved because it's a long ways away... But their Digimon are outright panicking. Even the powerful Quantumon is worried! The reason? GulusGammamon said 2,000 years in human/Earth time. If the previous entries of the series are anything like Ghost Game the time in the Digital World is much faster.
