As a Moments subpage, all spoilers are unmarked as per policy.

  • Some guards will look for their partners when the gang hides them after eliminating or knocking them out, and they usually say a line upon discovering that their partner is missing. A line the women can say is a dejected: "Why do all the men leave me?", which they follow with a "Whatever it is that I did, I'm sorry all right!" when searching the area.
  • Hector's non-lethal melee attack is a Megaton Punch... that ends with a rather silly cartoonish sound effect.
  • Kate's melee attack involves her kicking the enemy in their... weak spot. The first time she uses it during the fourth mission, Cooper comments that it looks hurtful. She retorts that it's still better than a knife to the throat. Cooper retorts that he doesn't know which would hurt more.
  • The unnamed Flagstone "doctor" deserves a mention just for this bit:
Doctor: (in a weary, apathetic voice) Headache huh? Have some whiskey. Chest pains? Have some whiskey. Been shot? I got the thing—have some whiskey. Woman trouble? Have some whiskey. Feel insignificant compared to the vast emptiness that is our ever-expanding universe, right? Have some whiskey. Out of whiskey? Too bad.
  • The shoot-out at O'Hara ranch is a tense battle during a rainy night. At one point on the map, there's a guy running with an alight torch to join his post, only to slip on the wet ground and fall, which blows out his torch, forcing him to go back and light it again. He will never stop falling at the exact same time and the exact same place.
  • In the Eagle Falls mission, in one of the sheds, there is an angry civilian arguing with the foreman because, due to the repair of the bridge, she and her family have been stuck for several days. During their idle conversations, the two guards outside clearly admit that they enjoy the scene. At one point, they wonder if they should help the foreman. They choose not to because it's too funny to watch.
  • The entire mission of Baton Rouge is a long crowning moment of funny.
    • First, there is its premise: The gang got plastered the previous night and creatively ransacked the town during the night, The Hangover-style. You never witness the actual event, only its aftermath. Which includes dressing up a scarecrow with a dress, and a piano and a bull somehow getting on roofs.
    • The first scene. Hector exits a cabin with a huge hangover, wondering what he did last night. Then Rosie, the sheriff's wife, exits the cabin and thanks him for the lovely night. The normally boisterous Hector suddenly becomes very nervous and shy, saying that he doesn't remember anything and nervously saying that he has to go now. When he leaves, she slaps his butt.
    • What's the first thing you can do while controlling Hector? Knock out Rosie and steal her money.
      • As confirmed by the dialogues during the first DLC mission, Rosie actually masterminded the whole thing, robbed the bank, and framed the party, spiking their drinks so they'd pass out, and the unusually large amount of money she's carrying is from that. Hector doesn't necessarily have to know this when you knock her out and take her back, though, making it a huge case of Achievement In Ignorance...
    • The gang has no weapons for this mission. Instead of Bianca, Hector uses a rake to non-lethally knock out people. Yes, you heard right. You can reenact the Rake Take at will with all these unlucky NPCs.
    • The various NPCs' reactions to the whole thing. Some are still trying to comprehend how the gang managed to do all that, while others come up with outlandish explanations to try to explain what happened (including either Satan or swamp witches robbing the bank).
      • Those gathered around the scarecrow wearing the dress actually think that some swamp witchery was used to turn the sheriff's wife into straw and the only one actually mentioning that it's a scarecrow is silenced by the others because he's "ruining the investigation".
      • Two guards are discussing the existence of swamp witches that can control people's mind. The gunman explains that it ain't possible as, since they live in a free country, he's free and therefore can't be mind-controlled. The gunwoman retorts that if he truly was mind-controlled, he wouldn't notice it.
      • Two other guards are investigating the tracks left by the cannon the gang moved while drunk. The conclusion of their investigation is that swamp witches tried to take the weapon for their ritual. They don't know what use they have of it, but they know that they need it for their ritual.
      • Two gunmen, who from their part think that Satan is the bank-robber, ponder about why the Lord of Darkness would need money. The answer is obvious: for the same reason they do. To go to the saloon.
    • The gang's audio responses to commands for this mission are adjusted to make them all sound properly hung-hover. In particular, Kate's lines when seducing enemies into following her become things like "Let's... go over here... I think."
    • McCoy got so drunk that he doesn't even wake up during the entire mission. The others have to carry him to the boat.
  • In the mission where Isabelle joins, the other characters show an extreme Weirdness Censor to the fact that she is blatantly using supernatural mind-control to make their enemies kill each other. At one point, if you have one enemy shoot another, Hector comments that he must have been really drunk, and Isabelle responds with "Yessss... drunk..."
  • Some conversations between the mooks really give off an Ineffectual Sympathetic Villain-vibe, to the point that one may decide to spare them out of pity.
    • For instance, Cooper starts the Mississippi River mission holed up in the boat, having a shoot-out with two goons trying to capture him, until Isabelle comes to help him. However, he doesn't seem to be fighting the cream of the crop...
Poncho: Fuck dang it Casey! I think he hit me! It's all red!
Casey: You're wearing a red shirt, you idiot!
    • Another instance: in Las Piedras, there's a gunman searching for something while a gunwoman watches him. The man is searching for his gold tooth and he will reveal that he lost it because he bashed his head on the tracks... because he was drunk.
Gunwoman: So come on, how the hell did you bash your head on the tracks?
  • The longcoats all speak in a low gruff voice to illustrate their dangerousness. In the Casa DeVitt mission, one of them is desperately trying to ask out a gunwoman but Cannot Spit It Out. Therefore, you can witness the intimidating longcoat with his low gruff voice... shyly stutter and fail at small talk with the oblivious woman.
  • In the DLC missions, Hector at the end of mission 2 says he has a plan for spiriting away DeVitt's fortune from the Eagle's Nest. The player sees the result at the start of mission 3: Hector and Doc have gotten captured and tied up. Kate is in a wedding dress, also tied up, and about to be married to an amorous Longcoat. Isabelle has also been captured and tied up after "pretending" to be a voodoo witch, being spared only because her captors can't decide if she is to be drowned or burned at the stake.note  An exasperated Cooper says this is the last time he lets Hector plan, Isabelle asks him to give her a strand of hair, and McCoy plays with the idea of shooting Hector himself.
    • Once they get inside the tower with the strongbox, this little gem plays out.
    McCoy: *seething* Hector...
    Hector: *worried* What?
    McCoy You. Are. A GENIUS!
  • During the mission to blow up the bridge, there is a couple arguing about the train being delayed due to construction. Attempt to use Kate to distract the husband will result in the wife getting angry and prevent the distraction from working.
