    General
  • Any moment where Marcy is very clumsy. She is a cute and insanely clumsy girl.
  • During Sasha's theme song takeover, she's seen training the toad army. If one were to notice, she's training them in the same place where Anne and Sprig were being chased by a giant, mutant chicken in the seasons 1 & 2 theme songs. Cue said duo running from said chicken in the distance.
    • Apparently, Sasha became so popular in Toad Tower that she started selling her own merch.
    • As she sings about getting human food again, we see her surrounded by the stuff while giving a hilariously over the top Evil Laugh.
  • Marcy's theme song takeover reveals that the literal first thing she did upon arriving in Amphibia was fall down a long flight of stairs because she was too awestruck to notice it.
    • Luckily, Newtopia has free public health care!
    • During her time in Newtopia, Marcy introduced the Newts to tabletop RPGs. It doesn't seem to have been much of a success, since Bartley, Branson, and Blair sport annoyed looks during the game, while another newt ranger just looks confused.
Marcy: This'll be fun eventually, guys, trust me!
    • To the horror of many watchers, Marcy ends her song saying that she "hopes nothing bad ever happens to me"...with King Andrias winking right after!
    • When Marcy leaves on Joe Sparrow, Hop Pop says "See you later, alligator", making Polly think an alligator is about to attack. Hop Pop says it's just a human phrase...at which point an alligator emerges from the Plantars' pond, causing Hop Pop to grab Polly and run like the wind.
      Polly: You summoned him!
      Hop Pop: I have powers!
    • The 8-bit version has the song turned into a video game where Sprig keeps dying and respawning, but Anne has a blast. Then, when Anne and Sprig are busy cleaning the bathroom, Hop Pop tries his hand at the game:
Hop Pop: Oh no, I killed Sprig!
  • At the Amphibia event at Gallery Nucleus, the crew and voice cast did a table read of a script where the Plantars crash the very same art show that evening, all because they mistook the gallery for a boba shop. They meet the show’s real life artists, see artwork of themselves, become convinced the crew are cultists who are following their every move, and Sprig punches Matt Braly in the face with his tongue.

    Vlogs from the Bog
  • The Stylistic Suck of the title cards. In fairness, Anne is making these on her phone.
Food
  • While introducing himself, Hop Pop teases a "secret explosive ingredient" that he hopes he won't have to use. Anne warns that he probably will. It later turns out that the ingredient in question is literally explosive; Boom shrooms, which he uses to kill the victorious bugs and burn down the house. According to Anne, it always ends like this.
  • Step one of the recipe is to kill a bug. When that bug proves too feisty to die, Hop Pop pits it in a battle to the death against the next ingredient, a centipede. They proceed to become friends, forcing Hop Pop to pit them against vegetables, which predictably doesn't work. The bugs later use the vegetables to build a shelter to protect themselves from Hop Pop's boiling sauce.
    Hop Pop: Dang pacifist vegetables.
Hopping
  • When Anne introduces the Plantar siblings to the audience, Polly yells out "Bow before me, humans!"
  • After Anne completely fails at doing both jumps, Sprig asks when her legs grew in. Anne responds that she was born with them, which Polly thinks is gross.
Driving
  • Most of the video is filmed by Sprig, holding the camera a few meters away with his tongue, which is very visible on the left side of the screen.
  • Anne and Sprig drives past mayor Toadstool in a giant gilded snail. Toadstool holds up a sign saying "Vote Toadstool"
  • To demonstrate Bessy's speed, Anne drives her over a few hills out of view of the camera. Cue sounds of mayhem and Sprig dropping the camera to run after her. The next shot has Anne covered in bruises.
  • Anne ends the video bragging about having memorized Bessie's user manual, so she's clearly responsible enough for her parents to let her drive (note that Anne is 13, though the initial plan was to have her be older). Cue Hop Pop yelling at her from off-screen for driving Bessie without permission.
Anne: YUP IM TOTALLY RESPONSIBLE ENOUGH FOR THAT PERMIT!
Learning About Each Other
  • To demonstrate how the locals have taken to her, Anne has Wally (the first frog she met) give a horrified yell, though he immediately breaks character and asks if it was good, and then moves the camera to a random frog walking past and asking "'sup?"
  • Sprig tries to draw himself as a human, which leads to some pretty good, if cartoonish, sketches; One with an enormous "face bump" and one that can walk on his hair (note that Sprig has only ever met Anne, who has an afro, meaning that he presumably thinks massive hair is normal for humans).
    • Polly's attempt leads to a Kaiju-sized monster with a barrel for a body, giant muscular arms, and just plain old Polly for a head, walking over a human city that seems to be situated in a swamp.
    • Hop Pop somehow manages to draw a hyperrealistic (for the show's artstyle, at least) portrait of himself as a human, which even Anne thinks is impressive.
    • Anne tries to draw her "frogsona", "Franne". The result is rather lacking in artistic ability.
Glamour
  • Anne points out the difference in frog and human hygiene. Cut to Polly and Sprig wallowing in literal mud.
Anne: I miss showering so much.
  • Anne got Polly and Hop Pop to "volunteer" to try makeup.
    Polly: We didn't.
    Hop Pop: I feel nervous.
  • Anne gives Polly a light foundation, lipstick, and mascara. Sprig proves a complete natural, giving Hop Pop a full face of makeup to the point of comedy. He proeeds to do the same to Polly, Anne, and the entire town, complete with montage of the townsfolk.
  • With the townsfolk gathered, a giant porcupine monster attacks. Cut to the porcupine admiring itself in the mirror after Sprig also gave it a makeover.
    Anne: He's a god!
My Dope Life as a Battle Queen (by Sasha)
  • It opens on Anne about to show the audience Felicia's tea house before the video is interrupted by Sasha, who heard about Anne's vlogs and wants to do her own (frog knows how she heard about it considering that this apparently takes place before Reunion).
  • Sasha orders one of her attendants to give her a dagger, which she sheathes, some boom shrooms, which she pockets, and some shades, which she puts on.
    Toad attendant: Looking good, boss!
  • Sasha shows her heron sword, "Which I use to subjugate villagers. Especially little pink frogs who steal best friends". Cut back to Anne showing how Amphibian tea parties work, with Sprig saying he has a weird feeling someone is talking about him.

    Meta
  • Series director Joe Johnston made a non-canon stinger to "The Hardest Thing" that calls back to the Cosmic Guardian foreseeing Anne's lifespan. 78 years later, Anne still refuses to replace them, not out of still not wanting the job, but because she's a 91-year-old woman who can't remember ever making that agreement, or even that the cat sitting before her is a cosmic deity that singled her out as their only successor. Anne then begins to pass on before the Cosmic Guardian can make their case, angrily shouting that they'll have to start all over, as three stars of familiar colors fly off in the background.
  • In a meta sense, there's something funny that the plot of The Hardest Thing with the Core-controlled moon crashing into Amphibia was foreshadowed in the Chibi Tale video "Quit Bugging Me."
  • There is something amusing about how one of the most world-shattering pieces of lore in the entire show, the identity of Newtopia's founder, was casually dropped by Matt on a QnA stream, just after he said Sasha's middle name is Elizabeth.

    Crossover
  • While gathering ingredients for Hop Pop's swamp souffle, Polly asks what's next for the "suffering". When Hop Pop attempts to correct her, she simply states, "I said what I said".
  • Once the Badger-Beetle catches up to Anne and the Plantars after meeting Luz and Eda, Hop Pop clings to Eda's leg and shouts this:
Hop Pop: Save us, foxy lady!

    Chibi Tiny Tales
Family Photo
  • In the beginning, Hop Pop's failed family photos are good for a laugh. Each involves Sprig and Polly making weird faces. Sprig and Polly are then seen making weird faces again.
  • Hop Pop tries to take a farm-themed photo. Polly has a "shoot me now" look on her face. The result ends up being Anne's outfit is too tight, Polly looks ashamed and Sprig is a blur.
  • For Hop Pop's rock star photo, Polly goes up close to the camera, blocking the view of Sprig.
  • The bee photo is good for a laugh. Sprig swings the stinger to Polly and Anne at just the right moment for it to go wrong AGAIN.
  • Sprig has trouble with his hat and ends up tumbling in the sailor photo, while Hop Pop and Anne are unaware of what happened with Sprig.
  • The flower photo is REALLY funny. Hop Pop is looking all smiley while Sprig gives a face that screams "Why?!", Polly has another "shoot me now" look on her face and Anne pulls off a funny face.
  • The cooking photo result is funny. Anne, Sprig and Polly look disgusted, then as photos are taken, Anne, Sprig and Polly whisper to each other and sneak away slowly, resulting in Hop Pop chasing them around trying to taking photos of them.
  • The Plantar house bobbing left and right from all the chaos.
Quicksand
  • Anne's face at the beginning.
  • When Anne is underground, she gives a Disapproving Look.
