'Star Wars EQG is a series of fanfics written by Banshee531 as a Fusion Fic between the Star Wars and My Little Pony: Equestria Girls franchises.

Flash Sentry, after being found by Jedi Knight Shining Armor, is taken to the Jedi Temple on Canterlot to complete his training and prove himself worthy of the title of being a Jedi. He and his friends face many challenges and evil forces together.
Star Wars EQG: Episode 1, Harmony of the Force
: Flash Sentry is brought to the Jedi Temple to become a Jedi like he has dreamed of doing his entire life. But soon, he and his new friends get caught up in a war with an evil force thought extinct.
This series of fanfics provides examples of:
- Acceptable Breaks from Canon: The Jedi code of "no attachments" that is a big part of their lore from canon is not in effect here. This is justified as the rule previously existed here, but has since been abolished by Celestia and the Jedi Council when rebuilding the order to allow Jedi to change with the times and now allow Jedi to form bonds with their families and love whoever they want as long as it doesn't interfere with their duties. Similarly, the Sith Rule of Two is mentioned by Luna, but while Sombra is the master of the Sith, he has a lot more than just one follower.
- Ace Pilot:
- When the Jedi are being tested in flight simulators to see who will be allowed to pilot the new Delta-X ships, the top three pilots are Flash Sentry, Shining Armor, and Rainbow Dash.
- Soarin is said to be one of the best pilots Iron Core has seen, saying he could fly circles around Flash and Rainbow.
- Adaptational Job Change: Because the Wonderbolts don't exist in this fic, Soarin is a smuggler.
- Adaptational Species Change:
- Played With involving Springer. In the other works of Banshee531, Springer is an organic that resembles a canine, being a Jakhowl in The Flash Sentry Chronicles and My New Life as a Pony, his Equestria Girls counterparts being a dog, and being a Riolu in Pokémon: Harmony and Chaos. Here however, he is a droid built by Flash. Though his droid series, K-9, is a Punny Name that references his usual caine-like species.
- Rarity, Applejack and Pinkie Pie are neither Equestrian or Humans in this fic. Rarity is a Cat Girl, Applejack is a Cow alien, and Pinkie Pie is a Rubber-like alien.
- While Big Score is still a human, his goons are neither Equestrian or Humans as Rickashay is a Bat alien and Boulder is a Rhino alien.
- Amnesiac Villain Joins the Heroes: Solara hits her head, causing her to lose her memories and forget who she is. Twilight, Applejack, and Heather save her, and until she remembers who she is, decide to call her Sunset Shimmer. Unfortunately, she regains her memories shortly afterwards but continues to feign her amnesia, so she can infiltrate the Jedi and retrieve the relic.
- Big Bad: As the master of the Sith, Sombra is the main villain.
- Canon Character All Along: Solara is eventually revealed to actually be Sunset Shimmer.
- Darker and Edgier: This is Banshee531's darkest fic yet.
- Demoted to Extra: In most of Banshee531's other works, Grand Hoof is usually a major character but he was killed off before the beginning of the fic.
- Easy Amnesia: Solara hits her head when space pirates attack the transport she snuck on, with her getting a concussion and falling unconscious. When she wakes up, she can't remember anything about herself.
- Even Evil Has Standards: Chrysalis and Doom Raizer both flinch at the sight of Sombra electrocuting Solara for failing her mission.
- Fantastic Racism: Not everyone are fond of Jedi.
- Lightning Blitz despises Jedi and views them as criminals after Jedi Order accused his father, Doom Raizer, of a crime he didn’t commit.
- Rimarun also despises Jedi as well.
- Fantasy-Forbidding Father: Ruby's father, Jasper doesn't approve her being a Jedi.
- Hate Sink: Khanax, the Tiger guy from Chapter 22, is a very unpleasant individual who is willing to cause trouble for the Jedi because he only wanted Springer as his servant, even Rimarun can't stand him for the troubles he caused in the past, and even other individuals in a local tavern talk about how much they don't like him and think he deserves whatever punishment he gets.
- Hoist by His Own Petard: Wydorm falls to his death in the lava that he intends the captive jedi to die.
- It's Personal: When the Jedi encounter the bug troopers for the first time, Flash holds a grudge against them because of how they killed his first master Grand Hoof years ago and nearly gives into his rage due to Solara taunting him.
- Killed Off for Real: Not counting any past characters, Wydorm is the first character to get killed off.
- Living Shadow: Rimarun is this.
- Loophole Abuse: The Mandalorian oath declares that a Mandalorian can never show their face to any living thing. However, this only applies once they have actually taken the oath. Since Rogue has not taken the oath yet, he is allowed to remove his helmet in front of Applejack and the others so Springer can scan him properly.
- Meaningful Name: When Flash first built Springer, he read his serial number as S-P-R-1-G. He decided to shorten it by just calling him "Springer".
- Mentor Occupational Hazard: Flash's original master, Grand Hoof, was killed by an attack from the bug troopers years ago.
- My Greatest Failure: Celestia blamed herself for not believing in Doom as it led to him becoming a Sith and causing Lightning to hold a grudge against her and Jedi Order.
- Posthumous Character: Grand Hoof, Trail Blazer and Misty Veil had been long dead before the event of the story.
- Shout-Out:
- In Chapter 13 of Episode 1, Shining's flashbacks of his time as a Padawan under Master Strax are just like Luffy's origins from One Piece, complete with his master losing an arm to save his life.
- The Delta-X is based on Starscream's vehicle form from Transformers: Cybertron.
- Spanner in the Works: Twilight and Trixie act as this during the attack on Gemmax. It turns out the Sith's attack isn't to try to take over the planet, but just a distraction so that Solara can enter a cave with the same symbols as the temple on the planet the Jedi first encountered the Sith. This would have worked, except that Twilight and Trixie crash-landed miles away from the battle, and discovered what they were doing while trying to make their way back.
- Tomato in the Mirror: Thorax has had no idea what species he is or where he came from. So when he realizes that he is one of the bug troopers that have been serving the Sith and the Jedi have been fighting against, he is shocked.
- The Unfought: The final part of Flash's test to officially join the Jedi Order is for him to face each of the Mane 6 in sperate one-on-one lightsaber duels. After he beats Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie, Rainbow and Applejack though, Celestia calls an end to the test before he can face Twilight, declaring he has already proven himself and passed.
- You Have Failed Me: After Solara fails her mission to retrieve the relic from Gemmax, Sombra punishes her by blasting her with Force Lightning as she screams in agony and the rest of the Sith watch. He stops short of killing her for several reasons but makes it clear that if she messes up her second chance he won't be so forgiving.
