All-Star WarZone is a DeviantArt project by user Ultimate Saiyan Eddy. It is a collaborative project where several users wrote (and still write) hypothetical fighting game movesets for countless fictional (and non-fictional) characters.

All of the profiles can be found on Eddy's DeviantArt page here.

These movesets provide examples of:

  • Adaptational Badass: Characters who weren't fighters in their home series, such as Meat Boy and Both Pinocchios are now more than capable of dishing out beatings.
  • Assist Character: Many characters can call others from their own universe with their special moves.
    • All of the Helltaker's special moves have him summon the members of his demon girl harem to help him out in battle.
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: A few examples.
    • As expected, Deadpool uses this to his advantage, hitting the opponent with his own health bar and Super Meter much like in Marvel vs. Capcom.
    • SCP-3999 completely destroys the 4th wall in his Ultimate Move, where the description is suddenly interrupted by him as he starts talking in first person and addressing the players themselves.
  • Cherry Tapping: See here.
  • Cuteness Overload: Kirari Moroboshi has this as a unique mechanic. Her moves consist of big hugs, cute poses, squeezing her opponent's cheeks, and other cute gestures. Every time the opponent is hit by one of these moves, a "Happy Meter" fills up, and if Kirari manages to fill it completely the enemy completely drops their guard due to her contagious cuteness, temporarily losing the ability to block.
  • Final Boss: Galaxy Monitor, a fusion between Galactus and The Anti-Monitor, who is also the Big Bad of All-Star WarZone.
  • Forced Transformation: The girls from Gal*Gun impose this on whoever they fight, turning them into high school student version of themselves in order to make them more susceptible to their..."fighting style".
  • Gender Bender: Some of the girls from the Idolmaster franchise do this to their opponents during their Ultimate moves, specifically the idols who find more...success with their female fans.
    • The most popular example would be resident Bifauxnen Makoto Kikuchi, who sends her foe flying into a crowd of adoring female fans and turns them into a girl too if they're male, then begins changing into increasingly boyish outfits that have all women to squeal and cheer for her, with the foe eventually succumbing and squealing alongside them until she faints from a kiss blown by Makoto herself.
  • Homing Lasers: Darkseid makes an appearance and brings his Omega Beams with him, which can change their trajectory mid-flight to track his opponent.
  • Limit Break: Ultimate Moves, which are much more powerful than a regular Super Move. These moves always end the battle. These can range from the terminally fatal ultimates into something that is downright bizarre and humiliating.
  • Pet the Dog:
    • Big Bird manages to fit this trope in a fighting game. At the end of his Ultimate Move, instead of finishing the opponent off in any way like most characters do, Big Bird just takes them out for some ice cream and the two walk happily towards the sun.
    • Noddy's Ultimate doesn't even hurt the enemy, he just makes them feel sleepy and pulls a bed so that they can fall asleep surrounded by a bunch of other Noddies. It even shows the opponent having happy dreams as they sleep, it's adorable!
  • Spin the Bottle: Penny Proud can put her opponent through one of these during her Ultimate with her and her friends. It ends with the foe being forced into seven minutes in heaven with Myron and passing out from embarrassment if they're a woman, or getting a smooch on the lips from Penny herself and fainting if they're male.
  • Take That!: The entire reason Donald Trump has a set.
  • There Is No Kill Like Overkill: Plenty of examples.
    • Doomguy's Ultimate Move, the BFG 9000. One-shot is enough to completely obliterate the opponent and impress the Doomslayer himself.
    • Thanos hurls an entire MOON at his enemy and then proceeds to finger-snap them out of existence in his Ultimate Move, Wrath of Infinity.
    • While Galactus is also present in the roster, his daughter Galacta actually overshadows him when it comes to overkill. In her Ultimate Move titled Cosmic Feed, Galacta fires an energy blast at her foe and then increases her size to become as big as her father. She then fires a barrage of energy beams at the opponent that start converting their body into energy. The foe barely has time to process what happens before they're eaten by Galacta and erased from existence.
    • Misogi Kumagawa summons a vortex of darkness that swallows not only the opponent, but the entire world, and replaces everything with pure darkness.
    • Ultra Instinct Shaggy may be one of the best examples of this trope. After unlocking his full power, he destroys the entire stage with a punch, punches the foe into Mars so hard they go flying back towards the Earth, destroys what's left of the stage with a single kick, and finally slams the foe into the ground so hard that the entire screen goes white, before the last thing seen is a devastating massive mushroom cloud. All while unleashing a massive barrage of rapid fire attacks on the opponent and constantly teleporting around them.
    • Gandhi is naturally this, considering it's the nuke-happy joke version of the character popularized by the series. Good gods where to start? First, he goes inside an evil robot and fires missiles at the foe before crushing them in the mech's grip and slamming them into the ground. Then the screen cuts out to show a massive Civilization style map with Gandhi's capital visible on it along with the stage. You can imagine what happens next. Gandhi launches a ton of nukes at the stage, reducing it to a total barren wasteland. By the end of the Ultimate, not even ashes remain of the foe and Gandhi can be heard laughing in mad triumph.
  • The Rival: Most characters get at least one.
  • Tsundere: More than one example, but Osana Najimi practically weaponizes this trope. Some of her attacks include force-feeding a bento to her opponent and angrily slapping them for disliking it, bashfully calling them an idiot to stun them, and her Ultimate Move has her insult the enemy to hurt their feelings, only for Osana to regret her actions and pull her foe into a Big Damn Kiss that leaves them shocked...right before Osana becomes embarrassed about it and knocks the daylights out of them with a slap to the face.
  • Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny:
  • Victory Quote: Some of the Deviantart users who contribute to the project have written unique Intro and Victory Quotes for certain characters, even coming up with unique interactions between them.
  • World of Ham: The result of there being so many hammy characters.
  • Would Hurt a Child: Many combatants such as Riley Anderson and Billy and Mandy are children, but they still beat up and get beaten up just like the rest of the roster.
  • Wrestler in All of Us:
  • Yandere:
    • Gasai Yuno, probably the most infamous example of this trope, is part of the roster.
    • Yandere-Chan from Yandere Simulator is also playable and incorporates aspects of her own game such as knives, poison and her Yandere Vision into her moveset. Her Ultimate Move even has her kidnap the opponent and trap them in her basement, which is something you can do to other people in her home game.
    • Probably the one that incorporates this trope more than any other is Sayuri Miyasu, whose moveset has her basically become a yandere for whoever she's facing. From kind and romantic acts like distracting them with her smile or burying their face between her breasts in a hug to violent actions like stabbing her foe with scissors and making them eat a poisoned candy. Her Ultimate Move also involves her drugging the enemy and trapping them inside her basement, although unlike Yandere-Chan who very clearly stabs her victim to death, whatever Sayuri does to her opponent once she kidnaps them is never shown, making this a very disturbing way to finish a fight.
