A modern day character-driven fantasy about two families with a major subplot of a world domination scheme by one of the families Stryke Vs. Toyaka takes the old romance between fighting families plot and turns it on its head mixes it up and throws in a little De Construction too.A Disastrous Arranged Marriage between the Head Of the Toyaka Family’s Favorite daughter Fiona and the Stryke’s middle son Elliott results in the birth of Dexter Dmitri Toyaka. Then Elliott left and broke the agreement because his wife treated him like The Chew Toy .Elliott remarries and thus the protagonists Elliott Skyler Stryke (Skye) and Timothy Ian Stryke (Timmy) are born. Soon Fiona manages to sic her now teenage psychopathic Teen Genius, Dex, on Elliott’s family for a few years. Dex, besides showing absolute contempt to his father and stepmother at times, (while at others being conveniently charismatic and charming when in counts) completely torments Skye for awhile and the returns to his mother’s side of the family.
Years later, Elliott and his new wife are murdered and the boys return to Stryke manor in England with their grandparents and orphaned older cousin Felix. The Vendetta seems to be back, but Fiona's working on something bigger. and Dex is back large and in charge of a Broadcasting company.
Did we mention he's got psychic powers? But so do the good guys.....the bad guys just have better ones. Oh and Magic Relics.

- Blade and Annamaria have it both ways, Annamaria is a Daddy's Girl but the Un Favorite of her mother and Blade is sorta favored by his mother but The Un-Favorite of his father
- Meaningful Name-Fiona's younger brother and Blade's father is named Tybalt. Skye's childhood friend is named Gemini and has a twin brother. Dmitri has been passed down through the family's heads and Dex gets it as a middle name
- Power Trio-used and almost abused. Skye and his friends Gem and Rusty and in Blade's past he had two friends Gretchen and Adrian until tragedy and betrayal tore them apart. Timmy eventually gets one as well: His Teen Genius Long lost twin Kitama ,and a British orphan named Shinka
- Knight Templar Big Brother-Skye and Blade. Skye's overprotection of Timmy is driven by his abuse by Dex, and he starts to overdo it to the point where he smothers his little brother who is only able to spread his wings when he has to assume leadership when tragedy befalls Skye. Blade flirts with the ladies but if his little sister gets attention from boys or wears suggestive clothing he flips out
- Blessed with Suck-Mind Reading and Psychic visions are less than desirable abilities. Being able to have Pyschic visions is something of a childhood condition like allergies not to mention the community of Psi(the name for powered people),it's looked upon as a weakness. You can't control when you have the visions and you never know where in the future its happening. Mind reading well you can read any mind at any point usually all in a cluster of people around you within a twenty to fifty mile radius and it fades away as a kid grows up. Derek Toyaka (the Toyaka family criminal) was driven crazy by this ability in childhood.
- A Mind Is a Terrible Thing to Read-As mentioned above Derek Toyaka had this from childhood. This ability coupled by neglect and occasional abuse from his Spoiled Brat father and the abandonment of his mother (she left Derek and Donovan when the former was about two) is what drove him over the edge. Because of what he heard in people's minds he's started to hate people.
