Networking is a yet-unpublished humorous webcomic by zerotolerancezone that follows the story of Clea, Minnow, and Koda, young heroes who were signed onto a quest by a young god in order to defeat a great evil that had come to their homeland.
Networking contains examples of the following tropes:
- Abstract Eater: Kan eats thoughts. Apparently, they're pretty tasty.
- Action Girl: Both Clea and Minnow are examples of this.
- Affably Evil: Frankie is an incredibly nice, helpful guy- who happens to regularly try to kill the main characters.
- All-Loving Hero: Clea would do anything to protect a person in need. Their personality or morals mean nothing to her.
- Ax-Crazy: Kan and, to some extent, Sabine.
- Berserk Button: Koda and his height, and Minnow and her family.
- Big Bad: That would be Kan.
- Boisterous Bruiser: Sabine, to the extreme.
- Can't Take Criticism: Koda gets extremely upset when his abilities are questioned.
- Chronic Hero Syndrome: Clea and Koda are both incredibly protective, kind-hearted individuals who would never admit defeat in the face of danger if it meant that they weren't taking the most humanitarian route. Minnow has this to a much lesser extent, and hers comes from a place of pride.
- Crapsack World
- Deadpan Snarker: Both Clea and Minnow frequently are examples of this.
- Fiery Redhead: Koda.
- Genius Ditz: Clea is a genius, but you can hardly tell if you don't know her.
- God Is Inept: Dirilie is an extremely childish, bumbling individual who happens to be the god of humanity.
- Good Is Not Dumb: Clea is extremely intelligent, and extremely good-hearted.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Koda.
- Lovable Rogue: Clea serves as a rare female example of this.
- People Puppets: Kan bends people to his will through their thoughts.
- Pragmatic Hero: Minnow will do what it takes to win a fight.
- Red Oni, Blue Oni: Koda is very much the red to Minnow's blue.
- The Chessmaster: Kan.
- The Napoleon: Standing at 5'4", Koda is extremely self-conscious of his height and prone to getting defensive about it.
- The Stoic: Minnow.
