Studio Cockpit (スタジオコクピット) was a support studio used for Anime, established in 1978 as Studio Eight. As of 2016, the company is officially dissolved, but the name is still carried on by Pokémon: The Series animators Masaaki Iwane and Yuji Asada.
Recently, a very small new studio simply called Cockpit (こくぴっと) was established. As mentioned above, it's mostly just In Name Only and is usually paired up with Studio Takuranke.
