Emmanuel Curtil (born February 7, 1971 in Charenton-le-Pont) is a French voice actor.

He is most notable as the most recurring French dubbing voice of Jim Carrey (starting in 1994 with Ace Ventura and The Masknote ), Kyle Chandler, Dean Cain (including Superman in Lois & Clark), Mike Myers, Johnny Knoxville and Sacha Baron Cohen. His most famous animation dubs include adult Simba in The Lion King and Goofy since 2012.

He became an actor in 1980, when his mother signed him up at the Parisian Cours Simon acting school. In 1982, he played Gavroche in a film adaptation of Les Misérables. A few years later, voice actress Barbara Tissier invited him to become a voice actor at the SOFI studio. In the following years, his vocal range became wider.

His sister, Sylvie Jacob, is also a professional voice actress.

  • The Other Darrin:
    • Replaced Emmanuel Jacomy as Austin Powers and Gérard Loussine as Dr. Evil for The Spy Who Shagged Me and Goldmember.
    • Replaced Gérard Rinaldi as the voice of Goofy after Rinaldi passed away in 2012.
  • The Other Marty: The French dub of Shrek originally had Curtil as the titular character, having recorded his performance for the entire movie and one of the trailers. However, it was eventually decided to replace him with a Celebrity Voice Actor, resulting in Alain Chabat being cast instead for both this movie and all the sequels.
