Hothead Paisan: Homicidal Lesbian Terrorist was an underground comic created by lesbian cartoonist Diane DiMassa that ran from 1991 to 1998. The main character of the comic is a lesbian who is so outraged by all the misogyny and homophobia in the world that she decides to take matters into her own hands by enacting violent retribution towards every man who crosses her path.
Other cast members include Hothead's cat Chicken, her friend Daphne and a blind lesbian pacifist named Roz.
Tropes:
- Ass Shove: One early story has Hothead shove a telephone pole up a random man's ass in retribution towards all women getting raped and her belief that all men have claimed that women like being raped.
- Ax-Crazy: Hothead Paisan obviously qualifies, given her sick obsession with killing men or cutting off their penises on sight.
- Does Not Like Men: Hothead Paisan genuinely believes that the world would be a better place if there were no penises in it, to the point that her usual response to encountering a male is to kill him or cut off his genitals.
- Groin Attack: If the man who's pissed off Hothead doesn't get killed or beaten up, then he's likely to get his member violently removed.
- Karma Houdini: While there are hardly any victims of hers who didn't deserve it, the fact remains that Hothead Paisan doesn't face any repercussions for killing, assaulting or lopping of the genitals of any of the men she's encountered.
- Must Have Caffeine: Hothead always takes caffeine before going on her rampages.
- Psycho Lesbian: Hothead is a lesbian, and while her insanity isn't the point of the comic, her friends have frequently pointed out that her violent methods aren't likely to do much help in her cause.
- Straw Feminist: Exaggerated immensely. Hothead Paisan sees every male she encounters as either a misogynist, a homophobe or a rapist and will invariably deal with them by killing them, beating them or even removing their genitals.
- Straw Misogynist: Just about every male character featured in the comic is an unrepentant sexist who exists solely for Hothead to beat up, kill or castrate.
