A retired gangster. A quiet person who's unemotional, but can be quite giving and a heartbreaker.
- The Casanova: Ian is nonchalant when Jo brings up how his clingy hookup seemed genuinely hurt when he didn't answer his calls, and states that it's usual for him to not need to know his one-night stands' names and jobs. Jo calls him out on playing around with people.
- Character Tics: Ian stares intently into someone's eyes when he talks to them.
- Closet Key: Having an Erotic Dream of Ian makes Jo, who hasn't dated anyone since he broke up with his last girlfriend a while ago, wonder if he has a thing for men he's been unaware of.
- Dark and Troubled Past: He grew up with his mom's physically abusive boyfriends and one day found her on the toilet completely out of it after he saw her boyfriend dead from overdosing. After calling an ambulance, he was bounced from foster home to foster home. He blamed himself for her dying in prison, became a drug addict as well and went to rehab, and joined the gang K35, which he eventually left because the work became too exhausting for his conscience, not wanting to do gang work anymore after killing someone in self-defense and feeling nothing at all from it.
- Determinator: He's almost paid off the entire debt of two years prison protection plus interest impressing his debt collector, in spite of the difficulty surviving on clean work. Jason noted that the debt itself wouldn't change Ian's stubbornness on leaving K35, saying that he'd kill himself trying to pay it back.
- Doom Magnet: Ian sees himself as this, thinking that everyone he loves eventually becomes miserable and considering himself responsible for ruining TJ's life.
- Dude Magnet: He's able to easily get guys to casually hook up with him, has a girl at the club try to get his number, and is the shared object of Jo and TJ's attraction.
- Eating the Eye Candy: On their star-gazing date, while Jo is asleep on his shoulder Ian notices his long eyelashes and beauty mark underneath his lip. Later on while drinking a beer he eyes a shirtless Jo as he changes into a shirt he lends him.
- Even the Guys Want Him: After seeing him smoking on his balcony in a bathrobe Jo, who's only been with women up until then, has an Erotic Dream of Ian that makes him wonder if he's had a thing for men that he's been unaware of.
- Every Scar Has a Story: He has a scar on his right ankle from when his leg shattered after TJ hired two guys to restrain him who accidentally made him fall of the balcony, which stopped him from doing motocross in LA.
- Gayngster: A former one as a gay man and a boss of K35 and Jason's protégé until he left the gang.
- Parental Abandonment: He doesn't know his father and his mother died while serving a prison sentence when he was around 18.
- Pretty Boy: When first meeting Ian, Jason thought Ian was too pretty for gang work.
- Really Gets Around: He's seen having just casually hooked up with a guy in the first chapter and is about to bring a different guy over to his place before he sees TJ is in his apartment. He intends on having sex with Jo after they get a beer together, inviting him over to his place. After Jo helps him out with a clingy hookup and Ian is nonchalant about hurting the guy for not answering his calls and not remembering his name, not caring about his one-night stands' names or jobs, Jo tells Ian he shouldn't play around with people like that. Ian explains it as being how he lives
- Recovered Addict: He became a drug addict like his mother. TJ convinced him to go to rehab and stop doing drugs.
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Ian feeling nothing from killing someone contracted to kill him in self-defense is what pushed him to leave K35 and no longer do gang work, not changing his mind even when having to pay two years imprisonment protection and the interest on top of it for leaving through clean work.
- Selective Obliviousness: Ian knew that TJ was the one responsible for his leg being broken, having hired the guys who got into a fight with Ian and accidentally made him fall off the second floor of a bar, but kissed TJ before he could confess, not wanting him to say it because if he did it'd be over between them and Ian wouldn't stand himself for forgiving him too easily.Ian (thinking to himself): This just has to be an unfortunate accident. So just pretend you know nothing.
- Smoking Is Cool: Ian, the main character considered handsome by many, is often seen smoking a cigarette.
- The Stoic: Ian is a quiet guy who doesn't show many emotions.
- Straight Gay: Ian is gay but isn't effeminate, with his hobby being motorcycles and having been an amateur motorcross athlete in the past.
- Tall, Dark, and Handsome: Ian has dark hair, stands at 184 cm, and is considered very good-looking by many people, including Jo, a guy he's about to hook up with, Alex, and people who see him at the club.
- Technicolor Eyes: His purple eyes help him stand out as a main character.
- Uke: The "cool beauty" and older uke in regards to Jo. The author stated that Ian is mostly a seme, but is an uke only for Jo and TJ.

An amateur photographer. A nice, active guy who cares a lot about his family and is interested in nature photography.
- All Guys Want Bad Boys: Played With. Jo can't stop thinking about Ian, a handsome, cold retired gangster upon first seeing him. However, they become closer and later on Jo calls Ian out on playing around with people when he's unemotional about how his clingy hookup seemed hurt that he didn't answer his calls and states he doesn't care about a one-night stand's name or job. When Ian says that Jo doesn't do that because he's good unlike him, Jo tells Ian that he's gentle and kind, and needs to be around good people.
- Amicable Exes: With his ex of five years who told him the story of the constellation Orion, thanks to his long-term commitment whenever he starts to date someone.
- But Not Too Foreign: Jo is half-Korean and half-Italian.
- Camera Fiend: A talented amateur photographer applying to universities to study photography who accidentally snaps a photo of Ian in the first chapter, and even takes pictures of trash that fell out of a ripped garbage bag.
- Character Tics: Jo touches his ear or scratches his neck when he's nervous.
- Covert Pervert: A kind young man who cares a lot about his family, but has an Erotic Dream about Ian, a complete stranger then, and is disappointed in himself for having the dream without even knowing his name, wondering if he really is a pervert like Ian in his dream said. After their meteor shower date, he masturbates while thinking about Ian, and afterwards is angry at himself for it and wondering how he'll be able to face him now. Jo thinks to himself how he didn't intend to take it this far after kissing Ian as Ian kisses him, but admits to himself that he's no saint either.
- Crush Blush: On their rooftop star gazing date Ian gets Jo's heart beating loud and asking to take photos of Ian before the meteor shower while blushing.
- Dogged Nice Guy: A puppy seme who's smitten with Ian, packing lots of snacks for their star-gazing date that he was really looking forward to and running quickly to help him when it looks like he's fighting with someone. He later helps him out Ian with a clingy hookup, accidentally proclaiming that he's his boyfriend when asked.
- Endearingly Dorky: Him taking pictures of garbage that fell out of a ripped trash bag makes a brooding Ian laugh after being reminded of the past with TJ coming around. Ian tries not to laugh when Jo frets about how his car got stolen, hiding his smirk.
- Family Eye Resemblance: He has the same blue eyes as his Italian aunt and cousins despite being half-Korean unlike them.
- Family Man: Jo puts his family first, helping out with his aunt's restaurant after quitting his job and going into a dangerous neighborhood demanding to a gangster to see his cousin Chris and bring him home.
- Has a Type: Someone he can talk to, and it's a plus if they're cute.
- Innocent Blue Eyes: Jo has bright sea green eyes, representing his youth and bright innocence that Ian craves.
- In-Series Nickname: Joseph "Jo" Landi.
- Longing Look: Ian is able to pick up that Jo is attracted to him from his eyes whenever their gazes met. He has one for Ian when they go on the rooftop to see the stars and meteor shower before asking to take photos of him.
- Mixed Ancestry Is Attractive: Intentional by the author, who stated that the half-Italian half-Korean Jo is a typically handsome mixed-race man.
- Seme: The puppy and younger seme to Ian.
- Strong Family Resemblance: He looks a lot like his aunt Bella, having the same hair color and eyes as her.
- Tall, Dark, and Handsome: Jo has black hair, is slightly taller than Ian with a height of 186 cm, and is noted by Ian to be handsome and fit, thinking it'd be a shame to not have sex with him. Yangji notes that he's a looker from a photo.
- Wingding Eyes: His eyes become just his circular irises when he's confused, when being told by the cashier that his car is being stolen and wondering if Ian is going to pick the lock to the building roof.
TJ
TJ / Oh Taejoon
A notorious gang boss. An outgoing, straightforward man with an aggressive demeanor from surviving in gang society.
- Character Tics: TJ frowns when he's lost in thought.
- Crazy Jealous Guy: Played With. Doyak has stated that TJ doesn't care about Ian's flings. However, Jo gets him really pissed off from talking with Ian and making him smile while TJ, who has a wary look in his eyes, is spying on him. He even tells Ian to think of him when he climaxes with other men.
- First Love: When asked by Jo if there's ever been anyone he's liked or loved, Ian states that he had someone like that, thinking back to a younger himself and TJ, who told Ian he planned on following through with K35 until the end and told him not to quit, telling him he needed him. Ian only replies that they're just friends now.
- Gayngster: TJ is a boss of K35 and bisexual, having dated women and been Ian's lover for years.
- Has a Type: A sexy and tall model-type.
- Number Two: To Jason for K35, reminding Jamie that Jason is still the boss in spite of his poor health and not to talk so disrespectfully about him.
- Old Maid: Gender-Inverted. Jason gives TJ flack for being in his mid-thirties and unmarried, telling him that he needs to get married soon and have a family with children, planning on setting him up for dates with girls. TJ tells him that he does have family – Youngwoo.
- Parental Abandonment: His family died in a car crash when he was 10 years old.
- Rugged Scar: TJ is a tough gang boss and has a prominent scar on his face and one across his abdomen to show for it.
- Seme: The obsessive seme to Ian.
- Stalker with a Crush: To Ian, staying in his car with his driver and watching him talk with Jo.
- Tattooed Crook: TJ is a gang capo and has seventeen tattoos, with visible ones when not unclothed on his neck and hands.
- Yandere: For Ian, having his underling give him a drug smuggling job to help bring him back into the gang, tailing him from his car, and, aware that Ian plans on disappearing for a year, telling an asleep him to come back and that his patience has finally reached its limit. It's later revealed TJ told Ian's lawyers to get him a two-year imprisonment deal after killing someone in self-defense, tying Ian down with his debt for imprisonment protection plus the interest to buy time to ensure he won't leave again, and hired two guys to beat up Ian to prevent him from moving to LA for motocross, with it accidentally ending up with his leg broken.
