In General

  • Adam Westing: It’s the TFS staff playing exaggerated versions of themselves.

TFS Members

    Scott "KaiserNeko" Frerichs
The CEO of the company. While also the other Only Sane Man of the group, having to deal with Nick, Zito, Grant, and Kirran for so many years has left him with a weary attitude and a cup of Irish coffee on hand at all times.
  • The Alcoholic: Has been driven to this prior to the series due to the antics of the others in the office. Scott's first scene has him tell Stephan that he won't remember his name due to being drunk.
  • Berserk Button:
    • Saying that the destruction of the coffee machine isn't a big deal will cause him to fly in a rage.
    • Telling him he's not allowed to be gay is another. He was willing to brush off Nick getting stabbed because of it.
  • Cure Your Gays: Mentioned that he had to watch some very cringey anti-gay videos when he was in school. All they did was turn him into a furry. Well, that and King Richard from Robin Hood (1973).
  • Must Have Caffeine: He drinks four cups of coffee a day. For perspective, the average amount of time everyone works in the office is three hours a day. When the coffee machine breaks, he ends up turning to hard drugs to deal with caffeine withdrawal.
  • Sanity Ball: He holds it more often than not, which isn’t to say that "not" is infrequent.
  • Straight Gay: Just like his real-life self, he doesn't display any actual camp or feminine mannerisms. The only indications of his sexuality are several casual mentions of it and his husband.

    Nick "Lanipator" Landis
The self-proclaimed Leader/Vice CEO/President/Emperor of TFS, and the member responsible for the idea of having TFS constantly documented through video. A massive attention seeker who tends to be the primary cause of Kaiser’s frustration.
  • Actor Allusion: He previously played a character known as Wake Scalebound during the Natural Oneders campaign at TFS at the Table, a revenge seeking character who lost his family. His character in the Gauntlets & Goblins game during Episode 5, Fuk'Ra, is very similar to Wake, having the same motivation... but has no intentions of trying to enact on it since he has enough sense to stay away from the Shadowmancer since he killed his entire family.
  • Attention Whore: Has the largest desire for recognition out of everybody in the office.
  • Drunk with Power: Being the Swear Czar of The Swear Jar gives him a level of authority he’s coveted from the start, and it instantly goes to his head. Hilariously enough, he reveals at the end that he actually hated the job and would've given it up in a heartbeat if someone had just told him he was taking it too far.
  • Get Out!: He forces Stephan out of the room when Stephan tries to point out that Nick saying "the F-word" is a violation of his own rules.
  • Hypocritical Humour:
    • The biggest Sir Swears-a-Lot of the team becomes the enforcer of The Swear Jar in Episode 4.
    • The entire reason for the swear jar was to discourage employees from swearing. Over the course of the episode he grows angrier that Stephan won't no matter how much Lani pushes him.
  • Karma Houdini: Despite kidnapping a child and demanding ransom from his mother in Episode 2, he gets off with no punishment whatsoever.
  • Large Ham: He has a tendency to be very overblown and dramatic.
  • Laughing Mad: At the end of Episode 4, when he's talking to Kaiser after getting stabbed in the leg by Zito.
  • The Lancer: To Kaiser.
  • Leader Wannabe: Despite being one of the company's founders and often creating titles of leadership for himself, he has no actual authority over anyone. Stephan outright says to Nick’s face that Nick isn’t his boss.
  • Manchild: His impatience, childish nature, and desire for attention has had him come off as a child on numerous occasions.
  • Unknown Rival: Borders on this to Mr. Fork during the Grand Finale.
  • Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: Has a deep fear of the police due to an officer tackling him when he was kid.

    Stephan Krosecz
The newest member of TFS and the resident Only Sane Man.
  • Butt-Monkey: Often on the receiving end of the mishaps that the other members create.
  • Not So Above It All: Despite playing the straight man to a lot of the TFS members, he ends up making the some critical blunders in Episode 5, along with really getting into the story when Grant's character, Snurgle, dies in-game.
  • Only Sane Man: The only member of TFS who isn't either an idiot (Nick, Grant, Kirran) or borderline insane (Kaiser, Zito).
  • Pet the Dog: In episode 1, he tries to cheer up Grant and Kirran by telling them he likes the picture they took when they seemed otherwise convinced that nobody actually liked it.
  • Screw This, I'm Out of Here!: In Episode 2, the moment it's clear that Nick kidnapped a child, Stephan decides to quickly leave the office for the day, saying he called in sick and didn't show up today to avoid getting wrapped up in the situation any further.

    Grant Smith & Kirran Somerlade
The two... employees? at TFS. Whatever "work" they do is often nonsensical wastes of time.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: They have the most bizarre, insane ideas to what should be mundane situations. And Kaiser just lets them go at it.
  • The Dividual: One never appears on-screen without the other and they are always involved in the same crazy schemes.
  • Fat and Skinny: Grant is the shorter, fatter, bearded, short-haired one, Kirran is the tall, skinny, clean-shaven, long-haired one.
  • Perp Sweating: Attempt this multiple times in the third episode when trying to determine who killed Mr. Coffee, even going so far as to try and perp sweat the camera crew.
  • Unusual Euphemism: They come up with some in Episode 4 to get around The Swear Jar, but the rules were written to defy their attempt at Loophole Abuse.

    Chris Zito
The other employee(?) at TFS. He's scary, violent, and might be a psychopath criminal.
  • Actor Allusion: Like during his time as the DM of TFS at the Table, he is the GM that runs the Gauntlets & Goblins game in Episode 5.
  • Ax-Crazy: The slightest thing could set him off into a ranting, violent rage, so the crew try not to talk to him too much.
  • Brooklyn Rage: He's from New York and has the shortest, most violent temper out of anyone else in the group.
  • The Dreaded: Every sane person in the office (read: Kaiser and Stephan) fears him. The rest are probably too dumb to be worried about his very worrying antics.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: Don't ask him about what he does on his off day, or how he got an oozing arm wound, or anything, just don't ask him anything. Better yet, don’t talk to him.
  • Last-Name Basis: He is only ever referred to as Zito.
  • Loophole Abuse: He gets around the swearing ban by writing his thoughts and obscene gestures on a whiteboard.
  • Noodle Incident: More like incidents. Seriously, Zito has so many… misadventures that result in grievous injury and possible manslaughter, it’s a miracle the company isn't a storeroom for bodies. As far as we know…
  • Only Sane Man: Surprisingly, the fifth episode has him as this in comparison to everyone else, as his attempt to DM a Gauntlets & Goblins campaign (which definitely doesn't resemble and is very legally distinct from Dungeons & Dragons) leads to everyone else constantly derailing the story he spent months planning through their absurd or unpredictable antics.
  • Psycho Knife Nut: He carries and uses a knife when the team tries to intimidate Nick into retracting the swear ban.
  • The Quiet One: In the first episode, he doesn’t like to talk. You probably wouldn't want him to anyway. You might be liable to testify against his crimes.
  • You Do Not Want To Know: In Episode 2, after Zito arrives to give Lani what looks like a burner phone, Kaiser asks how Zito knows about the kid situation.
Kaiser: Wait, hold on a second. You weren't at the Monday huddle this morning. How do you know about this?
Zito: Scott. Don't ask questions that you don't want the answer to.
    Kaiser: No, that's fair.
    Zito: Atta boy.
