     Bookworm

Bookworm

     Fowlmouth

Fowlmouth

Voiced by: Rob Paulsen (English), Philippe Peythieu (French/only in some episodes), Vincent Violette (French/How I Spent My Vacation), Luis Carreño (Latin American Spanish)

A motor-mouthed, profanity-spewing, arrogant young cockerel who manages to achieve the incredibly difficult task of making Plucky seem like a well-rounded and sensitive character by comparison. He is deeply infatuated with Shirley and constantly tries to steal her away from Plucky, but he's such an arrogant, pig-headed chatterbox that she rarely returns his feeling.

  • Abhorrent Admirer: Shirley is usually nice enough to humor him from time to time, but she still finds him obnoxious, even after he manages to curb his swearing habit.
  • Cocky Rooster: He's a rooster who's very pushy and rude. He used to have a swearing habit until Buster cured him of it, but he also likes to cut in line and talk over movies he's seen 100 times before.
  • Disrupting the Theater: His and Shirley's subplot in How I Spent My Vacation culminates in the two going to the ACME Cinema to see Skunknophobia, a film that he has seen 100 times before, and will not shut up through. He eventually ticks off the other theater-goers so much that they throw him into the movie screen, where the cast of Skunknophobia tell him off for talking during the movie.
  • Everyone Has Standards: He draws the line at swearing in front of little kids.
  • Gosh Darn It to Heck!: In his first appearance he swears like a sailor and is constantly bleeped out; afterwards, he tones it down to this.
  • Half-Dressed Cartoon Animal: He wears a shirt but no pants.
  • Hollywood Tourette's: Never called out by name, but treated exactly like it otherwise.
  • Interspecies Romance: Has a crush on Shirley.
  • Meaningful Name: He's a rooster who swore a lot in his debut episode.
  • Motor Mouth: Like his adult counterpart, Foghorn Leghorn, the kid just doesn't know when to shut up.
  • Not in Front of the Kid: He swears a lot, but never when there are small children present, because that would be "crude."
  • Saw "Star Wars" Twenty-Seven Times: In his and Shirley's subplot of How I Spent My Vacation, it is revealed that he has seen Skunknophobia 100 times. When he takes Shirley to see it, he spoils the whole movie by talking about what is going to happen while annoying the people in the theater, and is eventually thrown into the movie screen and into the actual film itself. The actors complain about Foulmouth talking during the film, and then they throw him into a theater door, which makes the audience cheer.
  • Sir Swears-a-Lot: Yet his swears are always bleeped out, of course... Paulsen may not even be making real curse words! His most frequent choice is "dadgumit"!
  • Toothy Bird: He has teeth.

     Concord Condor

Concord Condor

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/concorde_3987.jpg
Looney Tunes counterpart: Beaky Buzzard.
Voiced by: Rob Paulsen (English), Naoki Tatsuta (Japanese), Frank Carreño (Latin American Spanish)

One of the least important members of the Looniversity students, a dimwitted and gullible male condor.

  • Alliterative Name: First and last names both begin with the letter C.
  • Catchphrase: "Yup, yup, yup, yup!" and "Nope, nope, nope, nope!" Borders on Verbal Tic.
  • The Fool
  • Friend to All Living Things: In the short, "Concord the Kindly Condor" (part of "Toons From the Crypt"), Concord becomes a veterinarian, spending all his time helping sick and defenseless forest animals, and protecting them from his three older brothers, who want to hunt and eat them and want Concord to do the same.
  • Species Surname: He's a condor and not a buzzard.
  • White Sheep: In the short, "Concord the Kindly Condor" (part of "Toons From the Crypt"), Concord is revealed to have three mean (and much bigger) older brothers who want him to hunt and eat defenseless animals instead of helping them.

     Li'l Sneezer

Li'l Sneezer

Looney Tunes counterpart: Sniffles.
Voiced by: Kath Soucie (English), Megumi Hayashibara (Japanese/1st voice), Ikue Otani (Japanese/2nd voice), Edilú Martinez (Latin American Spanish), Régine Teyssot (French)

Another minor bit-character in the Looniversity students, Li'l Sneezer is a cute, motor-mouthed, innocent young mouse who suffers from chronic allergies, which is a problem with his super-strong sneezes.

  • Abnormal Allergy: Besides the common allergy of cats, some of the other things Sneezer is allergic to include anchovies, olives, rubber, nightmares, smoke, rap music, and heights.
  • Alternate Universe Reed Richards Is Awesome: In the Christmas special, his counterpart in a world where Buster Bunny never existed is named Sleazer and is an aggressive security guard.
  • "Aww"-choo: Subverted. Since he's a mouse, you would expect him to have a cute sneeze, but instead, they're comparable to hurricanes.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: In "Phone Call From the 405" (part of "Fox Trot"), Buster and Babs get a phone call from Steven Spielberg, who isn't happy with the way a scene in the episode is progressing, and neither of them want to speak to Steven when he's in a bad mood, so they trick Sneezer into talking to him, since Steven thinks he's cute. Sneezer is not happy with Buster and Babs for tricking him, and after he calms Steven down, he tells the two rabbits "Don't you ever do that to me again! NOT EVER!" in a demonic voice before sneezing himself away.
  • Creator's Pet: In-universe. He is so well liked by Spielberg, he can get him to calm down when Buster and Babs got him really angry.
  • Deliberately Cute Child
  • Meaningful Name: He's little. He sneezes a lot.
  • Motor Mouth: Quite often talks rapidly.
  • Nice Mean And In Between: He's the Nice to Sweetie's Mean and Furrball's In-Between. He's kind to everyone he meets, even Furrball when the latter serves as his antagonist.
  • Nice Mice: He is one of the nicest characters on the show, as he is very friendly and kind, even to Furrball when he serves as his antagonist. One such example would be in "A Cub For Grub", when after a trap he set catches Furrball and lands him in a thorny bush, Sneezer spends the night removing Furrball's thorns and bandaging him.

     Byron Basset

Looney Tunes counterpart: Barnyard Dawg or Sam the Sheepdog.
Voiced by: Frank Welker.

A laid-back male basset hound almost always seen sleeping.

    Mary Melody

Looney Tunes counterpart: Grannynote
Voiced by: Cindy McGee (English, "Furrball Follies"), Cree Summer (English, other appearances) Véronique Alycia (French/1st voice) Régine Teyssot (French/2nd voice), Anabella Núñez (Latin American Spanish)

The only other major human character in the Looniversity students, Mary is a friendly girl who just doesn't really have anything going for her, relegating her to bit-part roles and cameos.

  • Alliterative Name: Her given name and her surname both start with M.
  • Flat Character: She does not have any characteristics.
  • Generic Guy: Generic girl in this case.
  • Meaningful Name: She's named after "Merrie Melodies", Looney Tunes' sister cartoon shorts that were initially animated music videos with one-shot characters, but became more musically-inclined Looney Tunes shorts as time went on.
  • Spell My Name With An S: Closed captions have her named as Merrie Melodie, which is closer to the series she is named after.
  • Tomboy and Girly Girl: The Tomboy to Elmyra's Girly Girl. Mary mostly wears pants and is into rollerblading and skateboarding.

    Arnold the Pitbull

Voiced by: Rob Paulsen (English), Tomomichi Nishimura (Japanese), Orlando Noguera (Latin American Spanish)

  • Accessory-Wearing Cartoon Animal: His only article of clothing is a pair of sunglasses.
  • Angry Guard Dog: He's this anytime he's with Montana Max.
  • The Ahnold: He is muscular and speaks in an Austrian accent. He's got a little bit of the Totally Radical '80s icon Spuds Mackenzie mixed in for more laughs.
  • Cool Shades: He is rarely seen without his sunglasses.
  • Dumb Muscle: Usually he appears as an antagonist to Buster, Babs and other Tiny Toons, but he ends up getting bested by them in one way or another for his stupidity.
  • Fitness Nut: When he's not working security, Arnold the Pit Bull is this. He even runs his own gym where he derives pleasure in mocking those with less sculpted bodies than his.
  • Go-Karting with Bowser:
    • In "Prom-ise Her Anything", he and his girlfriend, Arnolda attend the prom alongside the protagonistic toons.
    • In the Spring Break special, he joins the protagonistic toons on their spring break, and even provides back-up vocals for the "Nothin' Can Be More Fun" music video.
  • Jerk Jock: He is belittling and cruel to the others, considering them as "puny weaklings" beneath him in intellect and strength.
  • Mr. Fanservice: Comes with being muscular.
  • Narcissist: He is a large bodybuilder who loves working out and admiring his huge muscles.
    • In Prom-ise Her Anything he is revealed to have a girlfriend named Arnolda, who looks distressingly like him.
  • No Celebrities Were Harmed: Arnold is a parody of... do we really have to spell it out?
  • Punch-Clock Villain: In "Prom-ise Her Anything", he introduces Buster, Plucky, and Hamton to his girlfriend, Arnolda without any hostility towards them.
  • Top-Heavy Guy: He has a stocky upper body and tiny legs.
  • Walking Shirtless Scene: He seldom wears a shirt.
