    Daisy

"That wasn't even a good pick-up line, handsome."

One of Peach's close friends and the lead singer of Daisy's Caravan, a traveling band that performs in New Pork City during the tournament.

  • Adaptational Personality Change: Daisy is noticeably calmer and more reserved than her base characterization is known for, though she still has her Nice Girl qualities.
  • Ascended Extra: She initially appears sporadically as a background event in the form of her music caravan, without even getting a proper voice actor. Starting in Act II, Daisy begins to play a bigger role in the story, being the one who encourages Peach to confront Bowser at the B.S Society's headquarters, and later discusses what she learned from her friend with a curious Team Falcon.
  • Early Installment Character-Design Difference: In earlier episodes, Daisy is shown as a Palette Swap of Peach from Brawl's official game engine. Starting in Act II, she gets her classic appearance through game mods.
  • The Face: The band is named after her.
  • Masculine Girl, Feminine Boy: Compared to Luigi, who is more timid and only fights because he's on a team, Daisy acts like a tomboy and isn't afraid to get her gloves dirty.
  • Opposites Attract: Is far more proactive than the meek Luigi.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: The blue to Peach's red, being more observant and is usually a voice of reason.
  • Southern Belle: Speaks with a noticeable southern accent, and is still as charming as her other incarnations.
  • Street Musician: The lead singer of her caravan, performing for the Smashers in New Pork City during the tournament.
  • Team Mom: Looks out for Toon Link and Nana despite none of them being related (and the fact that Nana is technically an adult).
  • What the Hell, Hero?: After Bowser is incarcerated and Peach frets about her strained relationship with both him and Mario, Daisy calls her out for not wanting to visit Bowser despite him being in a rough spot.

    Ivysaur

"Something caught your eye? Don't think, just buy! My prices are like no other!"

A merchant who has set up shop in New Pork City. He sells a variety of goods that often have unintended effects.

  • Affluent Ascetic: Apparently sleeps out in the open (basically wherever he decides to set up shop for the day) despite being very wealthy.
  • Arms Dealer: Does sell weapons to those who are interested.
  • Butt-Monkey: Is often used as a chew toy for Link. He's even referred to as a "scratching post" on occasion.
  • Gone Horribly Right: Intentionally buffed up a Cracker Launcher to help Mr. Game & Watch. He never could have imagined that it would shoot out people.
  • Intrepid Merchant: Ventures to all corners of the World of Brawl to find his wares.
  • Mr. Fixit: Despite his shopkeeper status, he was somehow able to fix R.O.B for Link when Mario, being a doctor and not a mechanic, was unable to do so.
  • Oh, Crap!: He reacts with visible fear whenever Link shows up, for understandable reasons.
  • Only Shop in Town: Runs the only instance of a market that can be seen in Brawl, something he lampshades in Episode 13.
Ivysaur: My prices are like no other! Despite the fact that I'm the only merchant around here...
  • Pet Monstrosity: Has the Ultimate Chimera as a pet, which frightens President Dedede enough to decide not to arrest him.
  • We Sell Everything: His wares range from weapons like the Cracker Launcher to trophy stands that turn whoever it touches into a helpless statue.

"All Pokemon are special. It's just that I only utilize the best there is."

A Pokemon Trainer who takes up residence in Saffron City. He spends much of his time taking part in Pokemon battles, largely ignoring the Smash King tournament. He was also Liz's trainer in the past, but she left him due to his rather... bizarre fascination with Pokemon.

  • Bestiality Is Depraved: Is a little too obsessed with his Pokemon, especially Liz. It's the reason why she dumped him and struck out on her own.
  • The Beastmaster: Due to being a Pokemon Trainer.
  • Camera Fiend: Loves to photograph Pokemon.
  • Hot-Blooded: His sole purpose is to become the strongest Trainer in the world.
  • Screams Like a Little Girl: When he gets burned by Liz's flamethrower, he shrieks in high-pitched terror and pain.
