Rosie
- Voiced by: Ellora Lopez (speaking), Ana Sofia Ferrer (singing)
The star of the show. A 5-year-old girl from San Antonio, Texas who wants to learn about the world around her.
- Affectionate Nickname: Rosie's mom calls her "Rosie Posie."
- All Girls Like Ponies: Rosie loves unicorns, and wanted to buy a unicorn squeaky toy for Crystal's bunny.
- Breaking the Fourth Wall: Rosie talks to the viewers when she tells them her rules.
- Character Catchphrase: "Well, that's new information!", "I need to flop," "Mama macaroni!", "Wait a secamadoodle," "Nada, empanada," "Ciao, bacalao."
- Character Tics: She has a habit of flopping onto the floor when she feels stressed.
- Cheerful Child: Rosie is full of energy.
- Constantly Curious: Rosie wants to know everything about the world. She even has a song about it.
- The Everyman: Is officially described as an "every-kid." Despite the strange situations she gets into, she's just an average 5-year old.

Gatita

The family cat, and Rosie's sidekick.
- A Dog Named "Dog": Gatita means "kitten" in Spanish.
- Animal Jingoism: Gatita is initially scared of Benito, a dog. However, they become friends later on.
- Cute Kitten: She's an adorable and very fluffy cat.
- Human Mail: In "Cat Mail," Rosie tries to send Gatita to Mexico in the mail.
Iggy
- Voiced by: Oscar Whalen
Rosie's 2-year-old brother.
- Affectionate Nickname: Crystal calls him "Iggy Wiggy."
- Baby Talk: He replaces his R's with W's and talks in the third person.
- Companion Cube: Iggy has a stuffed axolotl named Lote, and sometimes blames his actions on the toy.Rosie: Iggy! Did you eat one of our ingredients?!Iggy: Lote did it.
- Kids Love Dinosaurs: Iggy likes playing dinosaurs, and has a dinosaur scooter helmet.
- Rail Enthusiast: He's sometimes shown playing with toy trains and wanted to ride a train at a theme park.
- Third-Person Person: Iggy speaks in the third person, since he is so young.
- Youthful Freckles: He has freckles on his face.
Crystal
- Voiced by: Gabby Clarke
Rosie and Iggy's 12-year-old half-sister, and Liz's biological daughter. Liz and Marco got married when Crystal was little.
- Calling Parents by Their Name: Crystal always calls her father 'Marco,' but this isn't out of rudeness, it's because he's her step-father.
- Character Catchphrase: "I'm creaaating~!" and "Take it from me, I'm 12."
- Cool Big Sis: Crystal uses her creative spirit to help Rosie solve problems.
- Kiddie Kid: Implied for the sake of a joke, when Crystal boasts about how she's 12 and very grown up, only to squeal seconds later when she sees balloon animals.
- Occidental Otaku: Crystal might be an anime fan if this◊ Freeze-Frame Bonus in "Rosie's Seashell Museum" is anything to go by. In her notebook, she drew what appears to be a purple-haired Sailor Moon.
- Stage Magician: She does magic tricks under the name "The Great Crystalini."
- True Blue Femininity: She wears a blue denim jacket.
- Younger than She Looks: With her tall and lanky frame and the way she's dressed, she looks like she's in her mid-teens, but she's actually only 12 years old.
Marco
- Voiced by: Carlos Díaz
- Big Ol' Eyebrows: He has very thick eyebrows compared to the rest of the cast.
- Character Catchphrase: "Que pasa, calabaza?"
- Delayed Reaction: A master of these.
- Disappeared Dad: While he and Tia Margarita only has a mother, his father is nowhere to be seen.
- In "Cat Mail," Rosie sends Gatita in the mail, and says goodbye to her as the mail truck leaves. Marco does the same until he realizes what he just said.
- In "Rosie's Twin Day," Rosie tells Marco that she's going to find a twin. To that, Marco says "Muy bien," only to then go "Wait, what?"
- Good Parents: A warm and supportive father to Rosie, Iggy, and Crystal.
- Gratuitous Spanish: He (and his side of the family in general) tend to use Spanish words mixed with English words.
- Hairstyle Inertia: A picture◊ in "Chiles en Nogada Day" shows that Marco has kept the same hairstyle since he was little.
- Same Clothes, Different Year: He has worn the same red shirt since he was little.
Liz
- Voiced by: Denise Oliver
- Affectionate Nickname: In "Sister Surprise," Marco calls her "Cielo."
- Bookworm: If nothing else, her official description states that she owns a bookstore and loves finding the perfect book for someone. Some of the show's interstitial segments also show her reading books.
- Good Parents: She's a loving mother to her children, as well as a good person in general.
- Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: She has golden-blonde hair, and is a good parent to her kids.
- Hairstyle Inertia: An old photo◊ shown in "Mom's Snowy Day" shows that she's always had the hairstyle she does now.
- Long Hair Is Feminine: At the time of her marrying Marco, she had long, flowing hair◊. It is short in the present day, though.
- The Nicknamer: She has affectionate nicknames for both Rosie ("Rosie Posie") and Iggy ("Iggy Wiggy"). She also once called Crystal "Cutie Crystal."
- True Blue Femininity: She wears a blue shirt, as well as blue glasses.
