The Academy of True Art/L'Academia Della Vera Arte

The Academy of True Art/L'Academia Della Vera Arte

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/vella_arte_outlined.png
A school art of European origins that produces anomalous artworks.
  • Anomalous Art: Well it's an academy that employs anomalies in it's teachings of art, everything from visual to auditory the AOTA has you covered. Unless you try and kill someone that is, which is more common than you think.
  • Extranormal Institute: The Academy of True Art is unsurprisingly an art school, but it is no ordinary art school as it's curriculum involves teachings on the ways of manipulating reality as we know it, for artistic purposes only of course.
  • Expy: Of Are We Cool Yet?, being an organization responsible for producing anomalous art objects. The Academy seems a bit nicer than AWCY though.
  • School Is for Losers: Former students of the AOTA RPC-221 and whoever programmed RPC-328 seem to hold this opinion about it, with the former finding himself too talented for it while the latter is probably just bitter he got expelled.

A society of biologists and radicals from many scientific fields who want to make humanity stronger.
  • Manifesto-Making Malcontent: As radical Darwinists their Malthusian Manifesto is surely a bad sign to the current way of life.
  • This Means War!: For many reasons, mostly interference with their missions, so much so that the first line of the Malthusian Manifesto is:
WE the Church of Malthus, Arbiters of Population, the Future of Humanity, do hereby proclaim: i. An immediate state of Justified and Total WAR against the "RPC Authority."
  • Prayer of Malice: The final line of the Malthusian Manifesto:
WE hereby pray that no god have mercy upon them, for they merit none.
  • The Social Darwinist: The Church of Malthus are a Type 3 of this trope; a group of Evilutionary Biologists who view humanity's technological and medicinal progress for extended life and quality of life as failures of science, so they plan to force humanity to evolve through any means, be it by culling those considered "weak" or even getting their hands on absolutely powerful and/or dangerous anomalies.

  • Ghostapo: The German Anomalous Research Division was established by the leaders of the German National Socialist Worker's Party, in collaboration with former hard-line members of the Reichsokkultabteilung shortly after their consolidation of power. GARD was created as a regional containment agency which would work alongside the Authority.
