United Nations Anomalous Activities Committee
UNAAC
An international regulatory body with the support of major national governments. While officially as a separate independent organization, the UNAAC is part of the United Nations System with its own charter and structure in comparison to that of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Established under the International Anomalous Accords, after the United Nations Anomalous Peace Conference, in 1945, directs the UNAAC to restrict and enforce the regulations and actions of all anomalous activity within the international scale. However, actionable enforcement of the accords is often weak and mostly left to the collective pressure of the World Security Council, consisting of members from the United Nations, during particularly outrageous rule violation, such as the unauthorized practice of anomalous activities.- Expy: Of the Global Occult Coalition. Both are anomalous organizations founded by the United Nations who share a complicated enemies-allies relationship with their respective semi-independent anomalies-collecting organizations.
- Fictional United Nations: The United Nations Anomalous Activities Committee is an intergovernmental organization responsible for the preservation of normalcy, and the regulation of anomalies worldwide. While the UNAAC is officially part of the United Nations System, it has numerous agreements and procedures with the United Nations. One of these is autonomous status, much like the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund.
- United Nations Is a Superpower: Since the UNAAC answers to UN, it means that UN possesses one of the world's strongest paranormal forces.
The Vatican Secretariat of Supernatural Primacy
The Vatican Secretariat of Supernatural Primacy
A containment agency of the Vatican City-State committed to preserving the holy relics and sacred doctrines of the faith and defending the Roman Papacy from supernatural threats.- Expy: Of the Horizon Initiative, being an organization that deals with the anomalous from a religious perspective (though the Horizon Initiative is backed by the three Abrahamic religions, not just the Catholic Church).
