An alliance of gods and other primordial entities within the ranks of the Overtakers who seek to replace the current version of reality for a new one ruled by the Overtakers rather than simply conquer the universe that already exists.

Members of the group are listed in order of their first appearance.

Due to the council only being established in Every Villain Assembled Narrates, spoilers up through All the Forces of Evil will be unmarked.

     Imshael 

From: Dragon Age: Inquisition

A choice spirit later revealed to be one of the Great Old Ones. Initially a trikster looking to meddle with Loki and Doom, he later opposed the group after the duo drove him away, only to join the Overtakers after allowing them to reach The Master during the final battle of the main trilogy.
  • Adaptation Species Change: In Dragon Age canon, Imshael was a desire demon. Here, he's one of the Great Old Ones
  • Ascended Extra: Initially only had a small guest appearance in Quite A Glittering Assemblage, but went on to become a more significant figure in the narrative in the sequels
  • Berserk Button: Being referred to as a demon is one for him.
  • Exact Words: His specialty.
  • Insistent Terminology: Insists that he is a choice spirit, not a demon.
  • Walking Spoiler: His actions in stories that follow the original fic and his presence on this page make him one of these.
  • Wild Card: He serves as one during the main trilogy, where aids the Overtakers in Quite A Glittering Assemblage and parts of Villains of A Sort, then fights against them in All the Forces of Evil, only to end up helping them during the final battle.
     The Fates 

From: Hercules

Three goddesses responsible for weaving the Tapestry of Fate that dictates the destiny of the universe. Initially neutral in all the conflicts occurring across the universe, the rising threat of the Great Old Ones forced them to throw their lot in with the Overtakers.
  • Adaptational Villainy: Compared to their more neutral role in the original film and its spinoff show, the Fates in this universe actively get involved in the Overtakers' plans from All the Forces of Evil onwards and actively participate in campaigns such as the siege of Asgard.
  • The Chessmaster: They step into this role in Every Villain Assembled Narrates, as they decide to start creating a new universe for the Overtakers to rule.
  • Composite Character: All the Forces of Evil establishes that they are also the Norns of the Norse pantheon.
    • This happens again, combined wwith Decomposite Character in Every Villain Assembled Narrates, where the three of them play the role of the witch from Rapunzel, who was a single character in the original story.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: Regardless of their misgivings about the Overtakers, they despite the Great Old Ones for trying to destroy the entire multiverse.
  • Evil Cannot Comprehend Good: Just like how they were caught off guard by Hercules not dying when they tried to cut his thread of life when he rescued Meg from the Well of Souls, they didn't see alternate Rapunzel and her prince falling in love and having a child.
  • Laser-Guided Amnesia: The Master subjects them to this on a small scale in All the Forces of Evil in order to prevent them from exposing his survival to the Overtakers.
  • The Leader: The trio serve as the heads of the council.
  • Not So Omniscient After All: In All the Forces of Evil as a result of The Master destroying their Tapestry of Fate and wiping their memories.
     Lord Ombra 

From: Kingdom Hearts / Peter and the Starcatchers

A mysterious mercenary who abducted Jim Hawkins' mother shortly before the Overtakers arrive on Montressor. When Hook and Jim arrive in Neverland to trade the Second Star to the Right for her freedom, Maleficent persuades Ombra to join forces with the Overtakers.
     Arawn Death-Lord 

From: The Black Cauldron/Chronicles of Prydain

The spirit of an evil king sealed inside the Black Cauldron after being thrown into the iron that was used to forge it.
  • Artifact of Doom: As the Black Cauldron
  • Double Agent: Maleficent taps him to serve as her mole in the council, which the Fates are using to have him pass on information to Maleficent so that the Inner Circle will act according to the Council's plans.
  • 11th-Hour Ranger: Joins the Overtakers in the final seven chapters of All The Forces of Evil in the middle of their Siege of Asgard.
  • Say My Name: Tells the Fates to say his name when he escapes from the cauldron.
  • Sealed Evil in a Can: He spends most of the main trilogy trapped inside the Black Cauldron, and only escapes after the Reaper King drains its power during the Overtakers' siege of Asgard.
     Desire

One of the Endless and the personification of desire.
