“Stop pretending that you were the one who fucked everthing up, it wasn’t you. It was...”

The deuteragonist of the story, Bakugou Katuski keeps finding himself involved in Midoriya's weird supernatural activities.

  • Deadpan Snarker: Oh, so much. Even after The training session where Midoriya/Six provokes him into blowing up half of the building out of fear, causing him to reflect on his past behavior he's still very much the token asshole of the group.
  • Eyepatch of Power: After he hallucinates and falls out of the car, Bakugou gains one of these.
  • Friendly Rivalry: With Midoriya, over the course of the fic.
  • Headbutting Heroes: Him and Midoriya, although it tends to be pretty one sided.
  • Good Is Not Nice: Bakugou turns around and becomes a main character throughout the course of the fic, however, he is still quite snarky and votile.
  • Ignore the Fanservice: Completely disregards Midoriya's/Three's supposed advances on him.
  • Jerkass: Still as much as the original.
    • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: However, due to the traumatic events and weirdness that happens to him, he ends up reflecting on his past actions, and becoming a much better person as a result.
  • Knight in Sour Armor: Becomes this near the end of the fic in his quest to reunite Mikumo's body with his soul after Midoriya stole it.
  • Like an Old Married Couple: Him and Midoriya, at times, much to Bakugou's chagrin.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Bakugou's uncharacteristically emotinal breakdown at Momo's ball is nothing short of distressing.
  • Straight Man: Somehow becomes the voice of reason during the third act.
  • Suddenly Shouting!: Happens quite frequently.
  • Unwanted Rescue: By the hands of Midoriya/Three during the attack on the USJ.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: With Midoriya and Momo.
  • Why Can't I Hate You??: During his breakdown at the ball, he realizes that despite everything that he's been dragged into, he can't find it in himself to hate Midoriya.
  • Working Out Their Emotions: Does this during the field trip, instead of taking a bath, in order to avoid Midoriya.

     Momo Yaoyorozu

“Do you believe in God Midoriya?”

The third member of the main cast. Momo Yaoyorozu is Midoriya's best friend and confidant for his secrets. it's later revealed that she knew all along what was happening, and her parents had assigned her to UA to watch Midoriya.

  • Abusive Parents: Momo's parents abused her quite heavily, locking her in a cellar full of dragonflies when she misbehaved for hours at a time, and forced her into spying on Midoriya.
  • Because You Were Nice to Me: Her reason for joining up with Midoriya.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: While Momo is the nicest out of the group, she's also one of the deadliest, and the one with the most (concious) on page kill/injury counts, with Stain, a few Nomus, and some of the policemen being just a few.
  • Broken Bird: Becomes this after living with her parents for sixteen years.
  • Fanservice Costumes: Like in canon, her hero uniform is very revealing. Subverted when she gets a more modest one later.
  • Hates Their Parent: Both, in this case.
  • Imagined Innuendo: When Bakugou is explaining a dream he had about Midoriya, Momo asks if it's one of...another vareity. Naturally, Midoriya and Bakugou react the way you'd think they would.
  • Justified Criminal: her parents forced her into breaking the law and stalking one of her classmates for their research, so she didn't have much say in the matter.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: When Momo starts becoming more frantic and angry during the ball, it's easy to tell something big is about to go down.
  • Precision F-Strike: During layer 46.
“YES YOU DO CARE!!” She screamed, face red. “DON’T SAY THAT, DON’T SAY THAT!! STOP BEING A SHIT AND JUST BE HONEST ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS!!”
  • Rage Breaking Point: Reaches hers during the ball, and attacks Bakugou and Midoriya in an attempt to stop them from letting Midoriya's real body out.
  • Sudden Principled Stand: Makes one against her parents when they reach Hokkokaido.
  • "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Gives a quick one to Bakugou After Midoriya's explusion.
  • Unwanted Rescue: Midoriya's rescue of her at the hands of the Nomus.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: With Bakugou.

     Shouto Todoroki
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/in_the_car_r.png
“Can you stop being cryptic for one second? I’m genuinely confused.”

The fourth member of the group, who joins during the third arc, after Midoriya/Two helps him with his father.

  • Determinator: Despite all the shit that befalls him during his journey to find Midoriya and the others, he never gives up.
  • Hates Their Parent: Hates his father, for obvious reasons.
  • Late Character Syndrome: Joins the group during act three. Because of this, he has the least amount of screentime out of the four.
  • Literal-Minded: Like canon, he takes things very literally.
  • No Social Skills: Out of the four, Todoroki is the most clueless when it comes to talking with people.
  • Only Sane Man: The most mentally sound out of the group, Todoroki tends to play the straight man in many situations.
    • Not So Above It All: However, he is prone to joining in on the silliness, much to Bakugou's chagrin.
  • Poor Communication Kills: While it doesn't kill per say, Todoroki's vaugeness about how bad his father really is causes Midoriya/Two to just take him out of the equation all together. Although how much of that was Todoroki and how much of that was the audience goading Midoriya/Two into doing it is left up in the air.
  • Sixth Ranger: Joins the group later in the story.
  • This Is No Time to Panic: Todoroki is the one to remind everyone of this during The police's raid on Hokkokaido.
