    The Queen (Spoilers)
The late wife of King Rhoam and the late mother of Princess Zelda. She died while Zelda was just a young girl.
  • Adaptation Expansion: From this game, we learn that she used to search for ancient relics with her daughter and that her loss made Zelda even more heartbroken when Terrako was taken away from her, since she lost both her mother and her pet robot.
  • Deceased Parents Are the Best: It's clear that Zelda loved her so dearly from the way we see Zelda talk about her. It's apparent that her loss was devasting to her.
  • The Faceless: We do get to see her in a flashback, but we never see her face.
  • Freeze-Frame Bonus: Her appearance is very brief. You'd only be able to get a good look at her if you were to take a screenshot of her, or if you paused a recording of the cutscene.
  • The Lost Lenore: From the way King Rhoam talks about her, it's apparent that he loved her and still misses her.
  • Mythology Gag: The statue of her that is found in the Great Hall has the exact same pose Ocarina Of Time's Zelda had when she sealed away Ganon.
  • Posthumous Character: Even after death she manages to affect the motives of her husband and daughter who both decide the plot in both this game and in Breath of the Wild.
  • Strong Family Resemblance: From what we do see of her, she looks exactly like an older version of Zelda, with a Hereditary Hairstyle and the same body type.note
  • Ugly Guy, Hot Wife: We don't see her face, but it's clear from the Great Hall statue and her appearance in Zelda's flashback that she was a very beautiful woman just like her daughter while King Rhoam isn't that easy on the eyes.

"Hmph! It's only a matter of time!"
Voiced by: Cristina Valenzuela (English)
Teba's son who had ventured into a time portal with his father, but was separated in the midst of the Great Calamity. After Tulin is spotted wandering into the dense Korok Forest, Teba and Revali form a rescue team to find and save Tulin from the monsters lurking in the Lost Woods.
  • Affectionate Nickname: Having a soft spot for kids, Revali warmly calls him "kid", after he gently assures him that he still has a long way to go when Tulin has trouble mastering his own take on Revali's Gale.
  • Ascended Extra: Tulin was just a Satellite Character to Teba in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, being the only son that Teba has been training in his spare time at the Flight Range. He doesn't even have a specialized voice actor. But here, Tulin get a Day in the Limelight and his character is greatly expanded. Not only does Tulin look up to Revali, but he also develops his own gale power (coined Tulin's Tornado) and plans to one day master the Great Eagle Bow. And he's voiced by Cristina Valenzuela.
  • Cheerful Child: Despite being lost in a forest full of monsters, Tulin still remains energetic and cheerful as always. He even sees the monster hordes as a chance to witness his dad and Revali show off their moves. Even Revali is surprised by his happy demeanor, yet is nevertheless impressed by his courage.
Revali: You were nearly killed by those monsters, you know. Yet you're so happy.
  • Don't You Dare Pity Me!: Played for Laughs. When Tulin attempts to show off Tulin's Tornado to Revali, he fumbles and falls to the ground exhausted. He throws a mini temper tantrum when his father tries to help him, clearly embarrassed that he messed up. Revali finds it endearing.
  • Early-Bird Cameo: Pun aside, his unexpected prominence and focus in the DLC "Guardian of Remembrance" makes a lot more sense with The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom revealing he would be the major Rito ally to Link rather than his father.
  • Foreshadowing: After Teba and Revali rescue Tulin, he cheerfully tells his idol that he's training to be like his hero and will one day wield the Great Eagle Bow. When Revali comments on Tulin one day mastering the wind, Teba playfully declares his son must surpass him before that can happen. By The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, once Tulin saves Rito Village from Colgera's blizzard and awakens as the new Sage of Wind, Teba bequeaths him Revali's signature bow and declares it was intended for him once he proved himself his father's better.
  • Hero-Worshipper: Like his father, Tulin looks up to Revali as a role model, and is delighted to learn he's meeting the real deal. He wishes to be a great warrior like the champion, even practicing his own move called Tulin's Tornado.
  • Little Stowaway: He follows his father into the time portal and ends up getting lost. The fact that Teba knows the wandering Rito child in the reports is his son rather than his ancestor suggest that Tulin has a habit of doing that.
  • Morality Pet: Ends up becoming one for Revali, who has been such an arrogant jerk that even Teba was taken aback by it. But Tulin's cheerful demeanor and idolization of Revali causes the proud Rito to lighten up and relax for once, something that Teba noticed, to his delight. He even cradles Tulin in arms when the young Rito needs his nap time.
  • Signature Move: Tulin's Tornado, which is essentially his own take on Revali's Gale. However, he still has trouble mastering it.
  • Strong Family Resemblance: To his father, Teba. So much in fact that when Revali reports to Teba that there's a Rito child that resembles like him, Teba rushes into Korok Forest without hesitation because he is that certain it's his son.

    Shopkeepers
Various merchants in Hyrule who have organized to assist in fighting the Calamity. Some tend stores in fixed locations, while others travel between stables.
  • Call-Forward: One of the traveling merchants is a Sheikah named Cheria, whose preferred items to buy are Guardian Parts. Her name is similar to Robbie's ancient oven Cherry in Breath of the Wild, which was named after his first love.
    • Another unnamed merchant is heavily implied to be a much younger Kilton, the monster-obsessed merchant from Breath of the Wild. The rewards for his various missions even include the monster masks and vials of monster extract.
    • The Kochi Dye Shop in Hateno Village is run by Aju, an apparent ancestor of Sayge. They both have the same voice and general appearance.
  • Generation Xerox: It's implied that several of these shopkeepers and merchants are the ancestors of the shopkeepers and merchants you'll encounter in Breath of the Wild.
  • Identical Grandson: Aju seems to be Sayge's ancestor, given that they share the same general appearance and voice as well as the fact they run the same dye shop.
  • Intrepid Merchant: There are travelling merchants wandering across Hyrule, but they will only sell their stuff at horse stables, and they are not always there due to being on the move.
  • We Buy Anything: All of the shopkeepers will buy any materials off you, some of them even invoking the trope by name. However, the traveling merchants each have a favored type of item that they will pay significantly more for.

    The Cult
A gathering of Ganon worshippers and dark practitioners that sought to use the corrupted Terrako to see the future. Unfortunately for them, Evil Is Not a Toy.
