Kingdom of Labrynna
Once a shining beacon of civilization in the east, Labrynna served as a province to the Kingdom of Hyrule and an important connection to the Great Sea. In recent years the Great Fairy Veran has managed to worm her way into the trust of the Labrynnian Royal Court, advancing their military might and political power. Now no longer a province of the Kingdom of Hyrule, Labrynna plans to challenge the crown with its expanding armies. General
- Fantasy Counterpart Culture: To renaissance Spain with its early guns, morions, and Spanish romanesque architecture. Ralph is even renamed to Ralphonso.
- Named by the Adaptation: Played with. The term "Labrynnian" is thrown around a couple times in the original games, but generally just refers to the inhabitants of Labrynna. The term is more defined in Hyrule Conquest, where "Labrynnian" is both a nationality and an ethnicity.
- Race Lift: Fantastical variant. The original humans of Labrynna in Oracle of Ages were round-eared, whereas they are all pointy-eared in Hyrule Conquest
- Two Girls to a Team: Not counting the Maku Tree, Labrynna's heroes only have two female members: Ambi and Veran.
Vire
Vire, Minion of Veran
- First Appearance: The Legend of Zelda
Ralphonso Ambi
Ralphonso Ambi, Prince of Labrynna
- First Appearance: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages
- Adaptational Name Change: Downplayed. He is still named Ralph, it's just a shortened version of Ralphonso, as it is in real life.
- Ambiguously Absent Parent: Whoever his parents are and whichever of them was Queen Ambi's child, neither of them seem to be in the picture, leaving Ralph as Labrynna's Prince and heir.
- Named by the Adaptation: Had Only One Name in his original appearance. Hyrule Conquest gives him the surname Ambi, establishing his grandmother's name as a surname.
- Related Differently in the Adaptation: He and Queen Ambi were Ambiguously Related in their original appearance, but in Hyrule Conquest, they are unambiguously grandson and grandmother to each other.
Queen Ambi
Solado Ambi, Queen of Labrynna
- First Appearance: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages
- Adaptational Badass: She might not be a particularly strong hero, but she carries an actual sword and can hold her own in battle.
- Age Lift: Ambi in Oracle of Ages was a young queen. Hyrule Conquest pushes her age up so that she and her grandson can coexist without Time Travel.
- Named by the Adaptation: Downplayed. Queen Ambi had Only One Name in her original appearance, whereas Hyrule Conquest gives her the first name "Solado".
- Related Differently in the Adaptation: She and Ralph were Ambiguously Related in their original appearance. In Hyrule Conquest, they are unambiguously grandmother and grandson to each other.
Edgar the Giant
Edgar Bipisha, Giant of Labrynna
- First Appearance: Hyrule Conquest
- Canon Foreigner: Has not appeared in any of the canon names.
- Disability Superpower: His gigantism causes him to be a nine foot tall beast and helped him rise through the ranks.
- Informed Attribute: His in-game description claims he has an androgynous face, but his face is actually quite manly.
- Our Giants Are Bigger: Not by much in this case. He's nine feet tall, which conveniently puts him at about the same height as Veran and Onox. Word of God says he suffers from genuine gigantism rather than being a magical creature.
Veran
Veran, Sorceress of Shadows
- First Appearance: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages
General Onox
Onox, General of Darkness
- First Appearance: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons
Maku Tree of Labrynna
Maku Tree of Labrynna
- First Appearance: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages
- No Name Given: Just like in her original appearance, she is simply the Maku Tree of Labrynna.
