Vitreous, the Tyrant
- Adaptation Species Change: Was nothing more than a monster in The Legend of Zelda. Here, he is one of the Primordial gods.
- Control Freak: His only goal is to assimilate everything on Hyrule and make all beings become bound to his will.
- Composite Character: Of Vitreous and Iemanis, a Gohma god from The Legend of Zelda: The Fallen Sage.
- Death of the Old Gods: Was killed during the war against the (newer) Old Gods.
- Posthumous Character: Died during Hyrule's primordial times, though all the spiders in Hyrule still creep about.
- The Unseen: Does not appear fully in the main story, though all Gohma are pieces of him.

- Ethnic God: Subverted, as it seems the Kokiri Province actually predates the Kokiri.
- Minor Major Character: Responsible for dividing the untamed wildlands from civilized lands, but does not do much in the actual plot.
- Seeks Another's Resurrection: That someone being Tarm.
- The Ghost: Is not seen in Hyrule Conquest despite being alive and well. Also on a more meta level, as she is a spirit.
