Gorons

Mighty rockmen hailing from the peaks of Death Mountain, the Gorons were a people of warriors, miners, and boisterous party-goers. Hyrule's mightiest weapons were crafted by their hands, and the outcome of many wars rested on their involvement. Their tenacity for battle was legendary and earned them a place in the vast history of the land.

• Adaptation Relationship Overhaul: In all of their canon appearances, they seem to be a subservient vassal state of the Kingdom of Hyrule. In Hyrule Conquest, they are merely good allies.

• Space Jews: As if the dreads and smoking weren't enough, Gor Ebizo's in-game dialogue has him speak like a Jamaican.

Dangoro

Dangoro, Guardian of Death Mountain

Darunia's right hand Goron.

Medigoron, Brotherhood Leader

Younger brother of Biggoron leading Goron brotherhoods.

• Divergent Character Evolution: Used the same basic model as his brother and other Gorons in Ocarina of Time. Hyrule Conquest gives him some scars and armor.
• Rugged Scar: Sports one over his eye.

Darunia

Darunia, Sage of Fire

Anyone call for the hammer?

Sage of Fire and King of the Gorons.

• Adaptational Modesty: Downplayed, since he doesn't cover his crotch. He at least wears a helmet and cape this time, though.
• Related in the Adaptation: Only had a son in Ocarina of Time. In Hyrule Conquest, Daruk is his younger brother.

Daruk

Daruk, Goron Elder

Talk about being a NEET.

First Appearance: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Darunia's younger brother who secludes himself in the mountains.

• Related in the Adaptation: Darunia is his older brother in Hyrule Conquest, whereas the two lived quite far apart in canon Zelda games.

Biggoron

Biggoron, Legendary Smithy

Legendary blacksmith and Goron Titan unit.
