Takeru Myoujin aka Mars
- Voiced by: Yuu Mizushima
- Ace Pilot: Notably not only is he an ace in Gaia/Godmars, he's also a great Cosmo Crusher fighter pilot as well.
- Adaptation Dye-Job: In the original Mars manga, Takeru/Mars was a red head. In the anime, He has dark hair.
- Adaptation Name Change: Subverted. While he's still refered to as Mars by the Gishin forces. Mars was given the earth name Takeru.
- But Now I Must Go: Final episode, with Roze.
- Chew Toy: Poor Takeru is a terrific example. In each episode Emperor Zuul sends out assassin after assassin to kill him and he's beaten, burned, frozen, zapped, electrocuted, asphyxiated to within a centimeter of his life, at which point the title robot arrives to save him. In the third and final arc of the 64 episode series, he's even stuck with a psionic device which drains part of his Life Force if he attempts to use his powers. It doesn't get much worse than that. Oh and, he knows that, if he does die, the super-bomb in his guardian robot will blow up the planet. YEOWCH.
- Combined Energy Attack: Godmars's final attack on Zul in the final episode (referred to in Super Robot Wars Z2: Saisei-hen as Super Final Godmars

Takeru: FINAL GODMARS! - Finishing Move: FINAL GODMARS! Can pretty much be summed up as a powerful slash with the Mars Flash. A lot of the time, though, it is preceeded with Godmars using God Fire to internally damage the enemy mech (usually immobilizing them), which is how it is presented in Super Robot Wars Z2.

That One Level of Hakai-hen. - Stage 56 of the IF route in Saisei-hen. First you have to fight a Crap-load of Invader, Zeravire, Heterodyne, Mechanical Beast and Mobile Doll bosses. Then you have to take on Emperor Zul and Emperor Muge along with a bunch of their lackeys, including TWO MOON-WILLS, plus the Cathedral Terra Lazengann (which you just spent half of the last stage beating already). THEN, once all that is over, you go inside the Catheral Terra where you have to fight Anti-Spiral Gurren Lagann.
