Mya/Ghost Kiss
Mya Freamon AKA Ghost Kiss
The titular heroine, Mya is trying to make it as a superhero while also managing her social life. She has the power to erase herself from a person's memories simply by kissing them, which makes things difficult for her.- Action Girl: Her fights will often get physical, lacking any weapons or ranged abilities.
- Charles Atlas Superpower: Because her power has limited applications in a fight, Mya trains and exercising enough to break a guy's nose.
- Clark Kenting: Mya wears a domino mask as Ghost Kiss. Carl has figured out who she is three times.
- Even the Girls Want Her: Apparently a number of women joined the Women's Jogging Club because they have a crush on her.
- Fights Like a Normal: Since her power has such clear limitations, she hits the gym and relies largely on melee skills in a fight.
- Groin Attack: She's not above kicking a super villain in the dick.
- Laser-Guided Amnesia: Weaponized. Her kisses will erase her from a person's memory. This seems to leave them temporally confused and she attempts to trick them before they can regain their senses.
- Logical Weakness: Her powers don't work on robots. She also has to get close enough to kiss her targets.
- Magic Kiss: She doesn't know how it works, but anyone she kisses will forget all about her.
- The Masquerade Will Kill Your Dating Life: When Mike discovers her superhero costume after spending the night with her she is forced to erase his memories to maintain her secret identity, leaving him confused and holding his clothes in front of her door.
- Even dating Nina, who knows her Secret Identity, presents it's own problems thanks to her Power Incontinence.
- Power Incontinence: Anyone who kisses her or even consumes her saliva will forget all about her, whether she wants them to or not. This means she can never kiss her girlfriend.
- Secret Identity: Her day job is writing copy for a PDX Daily's website, but she is secretly Ghost Kiss.
Adventure Man
Greg AKA Adventure Man
A veteran superhero who acts as a mentor figure for Ghost Kiss.- The Ace: He is Portland's regular superhero and handles the bigger threats.
- Expy: Of Superman. He can fly, wears a cape, and is from another planet. He is also The Ace, keeping the city safe from the larger threats.
- Flight: The power he shows off most often as he is rarely shown actually fighting.
- Hero of Another Story: He is a veteran and high ranked superhero who deals with threats above Mya's pay grade. We see him chatting with Mya more often than we see them fighting evil together.
- Old Soldier: He has gray hair and has been around for a while, but he is still an active superhero.
Nina
Detective Nina Dorsey
A Portland detective who starts dating Mya after they fight Volcana together.- Battle Couple: Downplayed. They fought Volcana together and started dating soon after. However Nina generally doesn't come along with Mya on missions.
- Take This Job and Shove It: She quits the force after becoming disillusioned with the corruption.
Chester
Chester
Mya's NSA handler.- Big Brother Is Watching: He reads Mya's texts in real time and can listen in on the radio implanted in her head. He will frequently comment on Mya's personal life. He also keeps tabs on Adventurer Man.
- Mission Control: His job is to dispatch Ghost Kiss when she happens to be the closest superhero to what ever villain is attacking and feed her what information he can.
- The Voice: Mya has never met him in person, only talking to him through her implant, but pictures him looking like Jason Momoa.

Sara AKA Admin
A low key superhero who is able to prevent people from sending messages on the internet after sending them an email.- Insistent Terminology: She is not a hacker. She barely understands computers for that matter, the Troll she was after simply didn't cover his tracks.
- One-Steve Limit: Her name is one letter short of Sarah from Modest Medusa, Jake's other work which shares the same universe.
Lester Freamon
Mya's father. He first appears in Modest Medusa, investigating the incident involving the chainsaw unicorn with Detective Bulk Moreland.- Alternate Continuity: He is a version of Lester Freamon from HBO's The Wire who got married and moved to Portland.
- Good Parents: He is very supportive of his daughter and tries to encourage his wife to make new memories with her while she still can.
Josh Stewart
A Portland cop Nina got into a fight with.- Police Brutality: He has a history of excessive force, such as assaulting protesters and being up a kid.
- Would Hit a Girl: He punched Nina in the face for threatening to report him.

Carl King
Mya's coworker at PDX Daily, who frequently forgets who she is.- Amnesia Loop: He discovers Mya is Ghost Kiss on three different occasions, only to promptly forget who she is.
- Rememberthe New Guy: In-Universe More than once he has mistaken Mya for being new because he keeps losing his memory of her. His coworkers think he is a jerk for never remembering her.
Laura Latz
Mya's boss at PDX Daily.- Damsel in Distress: She was left tied to a chair inside a burning building. Ghost Kiss was able to get her out in time.
Mya's Mother
Mya's mother, who, unfortunately, has no memory of her.- Doesn't Know Their Own Child: She knows nothing about Mya and likely couldn't identify her in any context.
- The Ghost: We have yet to see her at all, not even an image spot like with Chester. She outright refuses to interact with Mya.
- I Have No Son!: She refuses to believe Mya is her daughter despite her husband's claims to the contrary.
- Laser-Guided Amnesia: She was hit worse then most with this. She has no memory of her adult daughter.
- Unnamed Parent: Her name has not be revealed.
Georgina
Adventure Man's wife.- Happily Married: Her marriage seems to be going well.
- Satellite Love Interest: We don't know much about her beyond being Adventurer Man's wife.

A giant robot able to drain the super powers of those who get to close to him.- Attackof The 50 Foot Whatever: He is a giant robot rampaging downtown.
The Eel
A costumed super villain armed with a fancy stun gun.- Lightning Gun: His gun seems to shoot lightning. He can fire it multiple times and there doesn't seem to be wires, but it functions as a stun gun.
The Crabs
A super villain with the ability to shoot wet crabs from his crotch.- For the Evulz: Smashed up a shop and fought Ghost Kiss just to ruin someone's day.
- Harmless Villain: More of a nuisance than anything else, only causing minor property damage and getting junk in Mya's hair.
Dorra AKA Volcana
An A ranked super villain who recently moved to Portland. Her gang uses flamethrowers.- First-Name Basis: She and Mya call each other by their real names while fighting.
- Good Thing You Can Heal: Ghost Kiss chops off her arms with a fire ax because they will grow back after a few days.
- Made of Iron: Or made of stone. She is able to shrug off bullet fire like it's nothing. Even a shotgun at point blank range won't kill her.
- Playing with Fire: Fire is her main theme, though what else would you expect with a name like Volcana? She can shoot fire from her hands and her muggle minions use flamethrowers.
