  • Several of the Operator Intros count as this.
    • Sledge's has him beating a hole through brick and concrete, which will never happen in game.
    • Thatcher's intro shows a terrorist in a room full of bombs, before an EMP grenade rolls in and causes the screen to go black. Then we hear someone being stabbed before the lights reveal Thatcher and the dead terrorist.
Thatcher: GPS satellites, unmanned drones, fooking laser sights? The more crutches you 'ave, the more it 'urts when they're kicked out from under ya. If there's one thing I know for sure, it's that a six inch blade never loses reception.
    • Mute's intro: A giant bank of screens, all showing camera feeds of White Masks and other people, are reflected in the visor of Mute's gasmask, as enemy radio chatter plays in the background. Mute breathes in, the camera feeds suddenly start going dark, and the radio chatter becomes increasingly panicked. The chatter cuts out entirely when the last camera feeds goes dark, and Mute breathes out.
    • Castle's has him calmly sitting in front of a wall, reloading his shotgun shell by shell at an almost leisurely pace, as bullets punch holes in the wall around him. All the while he never so much as flinches, before the camera reveals he's sitting in front of one of his barricades, while the walls around it are swiss cheese.
    • Montagne's doesn't even show him at first, instead focusing on enormous dents, scuffs from shotgun pellets, and even weld marks from grenade explosions on what looks like a wall...until it's revealed to be Le Roc.
    • Rook's video has him monologue about the trust he places in his team mates and himself, while he doesn't so much as flinch to having a .357 Magnum revolver fired against his chest armor.
    • Fuze's video runs backwards to show how one cluster charge took out two separate rooms full of white masks.
    • Kapkan kills an entire room full of people without firing a shot while criticizing his attackers as "not real soldiers"
    • Tachanka doesn't speak, he lets his gun do the talking. By the end of it the entire room he's in is full of bullet holes.
    • Though the music and slow motion use evoke a dubstep music video, Blitz still manages to single handedly wipe out a room full of people without pausing. And basically all his shots are headshots; John Wick would be proud.
    • Jäger's video uniquely tells you everything you need to know about his personality as he calmly walks up to an automated, automatic, grenade launcher, plants his Active Defense System, and then walks off. He doesn't even flinch when the grenade launcher fires at him because he's so confident his ADS will intercept. Helped by his Badass Boast as he walks away.
Jager: They said it could not be done. They said it was designed for tanks. They said I could not make it smaller and more accurate. They were wrong.
  • Dokkaebi's video is similar, introducing her Playful Hacker personality as she sits alone in a room, only for a phone to go off...
Dokkaebi: "Your phone is ringing. Let me get that for you'''
    *BANG!*
  • Similar to Mute's video, Vigil's has him monologuing about how no one ever sees him coming as he approaches a bunch of camera monitors with himself on them. Only this time, as he puts on his mask, he disappears from the screens instead of the screens turning off.
  • Alibi's video showcases her three Holograms as the camera circles them to show how realistic they look as Alibi herself discusses the danger even a split second's hesitation poses...Only for one of the "Prismas" to reveal itself as the real Alibi all along
Albi: If you waver, you're mine. If you pick wrong, you're mine!
  • And everyone else's One Liners:
Ela: Chaos is my home. and I'll make sure you never escape it.
Clash: This is where you stop!
Nomad: On the highest peaks I found the wind, and now I let it clear my path
    *Cue enemies flying like ragdolls*

  • Character dialogue is similarly awesome.
    • Every time he opens up his extending shield, Montagne roars "Stay Behind Me!"
    • When he plants his Entry Denial Devices, Kapkan will occasionally say "Let them come."
    • When reviving downed allies, various characters will say something to the effect of "I won't let you die!"
    • After planting one of his Active Defense Systems, Jäger can say "You can stop worrying about grenades now!" Most of the time, he means it, as his Defense Systems can actually stop any lethal grenades from killing anyone.
    • At the beginning of the round Buck will say "Remember we are the hunters, they are the prey."
    • Jackal will say something similar, "There is someone else here, but they cannot hide from me."
    • After a kill Tachanka may say "My work here is done, time to pack it in"
    • Caviera's interrogations dance the line between this and Nightmare Fuel, since not only does she taunt her victim, she then (presumably) uses their radio to let the rest of the Attacker team know that she and her teammates now know where they are.
  • Not to mention some of the Elite Skin victory animations.
    • Blitz draws his shield, flashes the player three times and salutes.
    • Doc's Trench Medic skin has him stand victoriously with a medic flag in his right hand while the French national anthem plays as he calmly smokes his pipe and smiles.
    • Fans weren't happy with Glaz's Elite skin, but his animation makes up for it by him fiddling with a Ruble coin between his fingers, flipping it up in the air as he shoots it RIGHT THROUGH THE CENTER as the coin falls and we see through it up close.
    • Once again, Jäger shows us how confident he is in his Flying Ace outfit by tossing a grenade up and down, showing it to his ADS as if he was playing fetch with a dog. The ADS follows the grenade the whole time as he tosses it like a ball, extends a finger gun as the grenade is shot down while he blows on his fingers.
    • Kapkan in his Vympel uniform has him take out his knife, showing off several quick slashes, thrusts and rubs the blade.
    • Mute stands still while the screen begins to artifact. Then he gestures you to come closer as the screen distorts completely and fades out.
    • Rook removes bullets lodged in his Gendarmarie uniform, then pounds his chest and confidently folds his arms.
    • With his Detachment L uniform, Sledge draws his hammer, now a mace, and swings it flawlessly and like a golf club at the end of the animation.
    • At first, Thatcher doesn't appear in his Operation Nimrod digs. That is until we hear a helicopter from above as a rope comes down, a younger Thatcher slides down, stands up straight and strokes his beard in thought.
    • Thermite performs what looks like a magic trick by rubbing his hands together as fire ignites from his palms. He douses the flames with a clap and folds his arms. In reality, this is a chemistry trick that you can do in real life with alcohol and flash paper. Pretty appropriate, considering Thermite's degree in chemistry.
    • Twitch plays with her Shock Drone by driving it around in a circle and then stopping it with her foot.
  • The Hammer and the Scalpel has the bar brawl Thatcher gets into, accompanied by Tame Impala's Elephant.
Thatcher: But what comes next, my good sons, is from God's mouth to your ears, and I will make it hurt for the rest of your miserable fucking lives.
  • The entirety of Tournament of Champions cinematic. A lovingly rendered fight featuring Mira, Caviera, Pulse, Doc, and Mozzie versus Dokkaebi, Thatcher, Hibana, Sledge, and Blitz, all with powder rounds, and in a crowded stadium of roaring fans complete with little pre-battle interviews. And once the fight starts in earnest it doesn't stop. Some highlights include...
    • Dokkaebi and Sledge in a firefight with Mira using her Black Mirror as cover with an open hole to fire through just like players would. Sledge yells at Dokkaebi to head for the bomb site and once she's gone he pulls out a frag grenade.
Sledge: Well, I've had enough of this shite!
[Sledge tosses his frag through Mira's firing hole]
      Mira: Mierda...!
[The frag explodes, cut to Mira in the locker room]
Mira: I should have seen it coming. I mean, I just... I should have seen it coming...
    • Thatcher ran into Caveira and the two ended up in not a gunfight, but an outright brawl that Thatcher is on the short end of. Then just as she gets him in a leg lock and it looks like he's about to be interrogation fodder...
      Dokkaebi: [Off-screen] Hey, Cav!
[Caveira looks up, alarmed, just in time to get shot in the forehead. Dokkaebi offers Thatcher her hand]
      Dokkaebi: Mike.
[Thatcher takes her hand and gets up]
      Thatcher: Grace.
    • Being the last man standing in a 5v1 scenario, the very last thing any player of the game ever wants to be, doesn't slow Pulse down in the least. Stuck in a firefight with Dokkaebi and Blitz on a spiral stairwell his answer is to drop a nitro cell over the rail and blow it up once it falls to their level, taking them both out. Thatcher is then taken out warning Hibana, who's moving to the bomb, that Pulse is "on a tear." She succeeds in getting the defuser down, but Pulse immediately has his gun to the back of her head.
      Pulse: Put down that gun...
      [Hibana tosses her gun away]
      Hibana: Jack.
      Pulse: Yumi.
    • Before Pulse can pull the trigger comes the sound of Sledge knocking out the wall, and he charges in dumping shotgun rounds at Pulse. He doesn't win the fight, but it gives Hibana time to get her gun, beat down Pulse in CQB, and take aim.
      Hibana: Sorry, baby.
  • The animated trailer for Shadow Legacy is ninety seconds of Sam Fisher taking apart Echo, Smoke, Oryx, and Mira like they're rookies. Not only does he handily beat them he beats most of them at their own game. He uses his Argus cameras to catch Echo in a vulnerable position, gets the drop on Smoke in his own gas, and chokes out Oryx in CQB despite him knocking Sam flat on his back first. Mira on the other hand is yet again a victim of her own situational awareness and ambushed.
Harry: How did the first lesson go?
Sam: You might want to call a medic.
