If you value your life, don't anger I.M.P.
    open/close all folders

    Murder Family
  • A bit low-key, but Blitzo's introduction of Mrs. Mayberry to the rest of I.M.P is capped off by him catching a ricocheting crossbow bolt that could have hit her with remarkable nonchalance.
  • Blitzo just laughs off Martha's attempt to burn him and Millie at the stake, cheerfully informing her that earth fire doesn't work on Imps before sarcastically adding he can pretend to be in agony if she wants.
  • Moxxie pulls off an epic Big Damn Heroes moment when Millie and Blitzo are in danger of being shot by Martha, whom Moxxie puts a bullet in first. From behind. Accurately enough to blow out one of Martha's eyes.
    • Not only that, but he pulls this off just after escaping from danger himself, having been tied to a chair by two kids who planned to skin him alive. This, he accomplished by headbutting one of the little psychos, grabbing the knife they dropped, and cutting himself free.
  • At the end of the episode, Moxxie takes the moral high ground by calling the police on the surviving cannibal family instead of killing them himself. Of course, being the kind of show this is, the cops quickly blow the remaining murderers away.

    Loo Loo Land

    Spring Broken
  • Blitzo snaps after Verosika's crew work Moxxie over, storming into her office—into the middle of the same group that beat up Moxxie—to call her out. He's so furious that whatever he says when he kicks the door open is bleeped out.
  • When a giant fish monster swallows her husband, Millie does what she does best and beats the ever loving shit out of it.
    • An understatement, that. What she does is kill a guy for his booze-bottle, turn it into a molotov which she uses on the thing to knock it back into the water, swim out to the monster, force her way into its mouth, cut off the tongue wrapped around her husband, fist-fight the remaining stump, then plunge down its gullet to carve her way out from the inside!
      Moxxie: I love that woman.
  • Moxxie deserves a little credit against the fish monster as well. Since we see once Millie pries it's jaws open that Moxxie is clinging to it's uvula and punching it. This was both a great way to avoid getting swallowed and a way to induce vomiting. Even comically drunk, Moxxie puts up a fight.
  • The crew works together pretty well to kill several spring breakers. Loona even does very well as a distraction for her first time on the surface.
    • It's even more awesome when you realize that the team were able to rack up so many kills while still maintaining their professional standards. I.M.P could have easily gone on an indiscriminate killing spree murdering innocents for the Demon Duel, but instead release a discount ad to attract a lot of clients so that they had legitimate reasons to kill their targets. In other words, they still managed to be this effective without taking the easy way out or sacrificing their integrity, and very likely bolstered I.M.P's reputation in the process given how many people we see get killed and the long line of people who answer the ad.
    • Later on when both Loona and Blitzo are rather distracted, the former distracted trying to flirt with Vortex, and the latter busy going Boyfriend-Blocking Dad mode over it, Moxxie and Millie are quick to work on making up for their loss in numbers, making a run into a building and getting a TON of blood spewing out of it right off the bat.
  • I.M.P blackmailing Verosika's crew into forfeiting The Bet because she'd be in trouble if she was connected to a monster rampage in the human world.
    • When Verosika tries to point out that I.M.P will be in trouble for not being in human disguises, Moxxie, despite being hammered, is sober enough to counter her argument by pointing out the humans mistook him for a possum and therefore they have nothing to counter their blackmail. It's fitting that Moxxie did this considering what Verosika and her crew did to him earlier.
  • At the very end, karma catches up to Verosika in the form of the police, who aren't too wild about her and her crew starting an orgy on public grounds. The only way out she and her homies have is...rather degrading.
Verosika: All right, sluts, get ready to suck a lot of pig dick.

    C.H.E.R.U.B
  • In general, I.M.P managing to easily counter every attempt that C.H.E.R.U.B makes to convince Lyle to live.
  • Despite being nice guys, there's no denying Cletus' group wielding holy crossbows is awesome.
  • The trio calling out C.H.E.R.U.B for acting high and mighty when they are doing the exact same thing as them: meddling in the lives of humans. Moxxie also points out that the "life" they're trying to save is a greedy, bitter capitalist and they're only saving him because someone else wants him alive and not because he's a good person.
    • This comes with a pair of "Reason You Suck" speeches, from Keenie and Millie.
Keenie: You are all such disgusting, loathsome beasts! Your kind is nothing but dirt that shitty dead people tread on! And now, you're trying to meddle in the lives of humans?!
    • And Millie's retort:
Millie: So are you! So why don't you shut your trap, you judgmental, cotton-candy tit-havin' bitch!
    • Then they start catfighting, which is its own kind of awesome.
  • Moxxie performing a Big Damn Heroes moment as he swings in the air at the opera house. Seeing Millie and Keenie fight mid-air, he considers shooting the sheep cherub. It takes him a second before he instead shoots down a sandbag that hits Keenie while he catches Millie. Both then proceed to make out while she unloads two SMGs, creating an incredible aerial ballet of love and violence.
  • I.M.P getting away, causing the blame for Lyle's death to fall firmly on C.H.E.R.U.B.
  • A small example, but the pianist at the opera gets one when he sees that he's about to be catapulted away by a plank of wood—he calmly stands up, adjusts his tie, drops his stool off the plank and jumps onto it.
  • Once Loopty shows up, Millie wastes no time in threatening him with an axe.

    The Harvest Moon Festival
  • It ends badly for him, but Moxxie actually manages to sneak up, jump on, and rope the hell hog. Had he managed to get through its hide with the blade, he might have actually taken it down.
  • Striker actually had a pretty good plan to kill Stolas; get hired at Millie's family farm knowing that Stolas was coming for the festival, giving him a reason to be there without looking suspicious, then snipe him while he's "cursing" the harvest and is distracted. If Moxxie hadn't stumbled onto his blessed rifle, he might have succeeded.
  • While Striker still gets the upper hand and locks them both up, Moxxie manages to hold his own long enough for Millie to sneak up and stab Striker multiple times. Millie is practically feral in this fight, growling and snarling like an animal, and with cracked bloodshot eyes while stabbing Striker.
  • Blitzo pretending to consider Striker's offer just long enough for Moxxie to hold him at gun point.
  • Striker briefly gets the drop on Blitzo, causing him to nearly shoot Moxxie. Blitzo immediately goes feral and viciously bites down on Striker's arm, then roughly elbows him in the face.
    Blitzo: Oh, you daddy fucker!
    • The whole fight between Blitzo and Striker, really. While most episodes play up his comedic side, it turns out here that Blitzo's skilled enough in hand-to-hand to match blows with Striker, who's talented enough to get hired by Stella.
    • While said fight isn't a Curb-Stomp Battle Blitzo actually has the upper hand for nearly the entire battle. Moxxie taking the occasional shot at Striker during it certainly helped but Blitzo was solidly winning in outright combat.
  • After getting cornered Striker tries running his mouth to Blitzo and Moxxie. Moxxie shuts him up by opening fire while he's talking. The little guy really had enough of the jerk showing him up and mocking him. Oh, and he's armed with Striker's blessed rifle during this, which makes it very clear he's perfectly fine with and very much able to outright kill the prick.
Moxxie: You gonna finish that fucking sentence... partner?
  • Three villainous ones for Striker after the fight:
    • First, despite being threatened by Moxxie, he still has the balls to finish his interrupted insult towards him, despite being held at gunpoint.
    • Second, he manages to escape from I.M.P after the fight went against him. Combined with The Reveal that he's working for Stella, this sets him up as the show's Knight of Cerebus, and potentially The Dragon to Stella's Big Bad.
    • Third, the reveal that he has a second angelic weapon. If those things can permanently kill the Damned, then they must literally cost an arm and a leg, be it financially or in terms of how difficult it is to acquire one. And Striker managed to get his hands on a pair.
  • Moxxie finally somewhat earns respect from his in-laws by pointing out that while he may not be a macho man like the rest of the people in Wrath, he's got his own strengths and Millie has enough brute force for both of them. He further points out that they have no reason to be upset with Millie for failing to beat Striker, when they're the ones who hired him and inadvertently put him in a position to hurt her in the first place.

    Truth Seekers
  • Millie flat out intimidates Loona, who is twice her height and probably about twice her weight, into mounting a rescue mission. She pulls the hellhound down to her eye level and yells in her face.
Millie: "OPEN THE FUCKING PORTAL, NOW!"
  • Blitzo and Moxxie spend half the episode during their capture messing with D.H.O.R.K.S Agents One and Two. Even Blitzo is impressed with Moxxie's Troll skills.
    • And then One and Two turn things around by not actually falling for their trolling, but instead waiting for the I.M.Ps to lower their guards so they could gas them with truth serum.
  • When the two hallucinate from Truth Serum, Moxxie is able to immediately realize it's a hallucination, and practically steals control of it. Blitzo meanwhile is left reeling at his.
  • Millie and Loona spend that same half of the episode infiltrating the D.H.O.R.K.S facility to rescue Moxxie and Blitzo; both slaughtering a large number of its agents with a shared battleaxe.
  • The goddamn battle. All of I.M.P take on the agents... and win. If there's a better way to describe Beware the Silly Ones, this would be it.
    • Just before unleashing Hell, Blitzo gets in a glorious Pre-Asskicking One-Liner.
Blitzo: "Okay, I've had one too many emotions for today. Guys, let's FUCK THESE FUCKERS UP!"
    • After being late to the fight last episode, Loona finally gets to really shine and show off her hellhound abilities for the first time. And proves to be a damn good fighter on her own!
    • Millie absolutely rips through the agents with an axe, knocking aside sword blows and throwing stars with ease and taking out multiple foes in bloody combos, including spinning the axe fast enough to act like a blender at several points. She does so well that she can cheerfully banter with Blitzo mid-fight, and casually pulls off a Murderous Thighs move for good measure.
    • And Blitzo gets in one good line before he goes ham.
Blitzo: Now who wants some quality time with Daddy?
    • Moxxie deserves special mention too. Near the fight's end Moxxie is Atop a Mountain of Corpses unloading shotgun blast after shotgun blast into the agents.
      Moxxie: BITCHES!
      • Although Moxxie is the least physically able of I.M.P., he's still strong and accurate enough to dual wield heavy machine guns with ease and at one point pistol whips an agent to death.
  • For all of his nonchalant flamboyant behavior so far, Stolas demonstrates why he is a Prince of Hell in the most awesome AND terrifying fashion: outright possessing Agent Two and controlling corpses to draw out a summoning circle to summon him into the room, before unleashing a VERY monstrous version of himself to leave the two agents shivering in fear. Until he greets Blitzo, there is none of said flamboyant personality being present at all.
    • His Pre-Asskicking One-Liner also deserves a mention.
Stolas: Who dares threaten my impish little plaything?
    • How awesome is it? Even Blitzo is rendered speechless!
  • Even with their forces decimated, Agents One and Two are smart enough to salvage the footage of demonic activity. There's a chance the two of them may very well end up making Stolas and I.M.P seriously regret considering them no longer a threat.
    • Also, credit to Two: Even after an outright demonic possession by Stolas, she managed to walk away just about entirely unscathed. One has to wonder at the mental fortitude she possesses.

    OZZIE'S
  • The Offscreen Moment of Awesome that led to Blitzo, Moxxie and Millie slaughtering a bunch of lumberjacks.
  • Honestly, as much of a (fittingly) dick move it was the way that Asmodeus and Fizzarolli go about interrupting Moxxie's song and later tearing both Blitzo and Stolas new ones is nothing short of Broadway levels of cool and entertaining. Asmodeus' singing certainly helps too.
  • Although the episode ends on a massive Downer Ending, it is still somewhat satisfying to see Blitzo getting Laser-Guided Karma for invading his employees' private life despite being told to his face to leave them alone. All his prying and reckless behavior finally catches up to him:
    • Moxxie is horrified to learn that Blitzo has been frequently spying on his and Millie’s sex life, and notably the pair do nothing to defend Blitzo from "The Hero Sucks" Song addressed to him.
    • Verosika gets the chance to publicly dress down Blitzo for being a terrible boyfriend who broke her trust and her heart. For all of Verosika’s sins, this episode reinforced that she has every right to hate Blitzo for his behavior.
    • Asmodeus then follows up by justifically tearing down Stolas as well for his lust that ultimately played a part in the loss of his life with his family. It provides a major Oh, Crap! moment to Stolas as he finally begins to realize the position he’s been putting Blitzo and his daughter in.
    • While it's sad, but Blitzo makes it clear to Stolas just how badly he screwed up, so that now the imp only thinks that Stolas wants him for the sex. Stolas is also completely respectful when Blitzo says no, even calling him "Blitz" one more time.
    • By the end of the night, Blitzo has damaged his relationships with Stolas, Moxxie, and Millie, while his own daughter is out living her own life with friends by virtue of being a kinder, more respectful person than him. As sad as the ending is, Blitzo being left alone to cry and bemoan how he caused everything to go to shit is a 100% earned punishement for his own toxic behavior.
  • After getting fed up with Fizzarolli and Asmodeus interrupting her husband's song to her, Millie knocks out the former with Moxxie's guitar and tells Moxxie to keep playing. Asmodeus may have kicked them out after, but the fact that a lower class demon like her is able to stand up to a ruler of one of Hell's rings shows just how far she will go for her husband.
    • Even before that, when Fizzarolli and Asmodeus give Moxxie the mic and his guitar back to change his song, Moxxie keeps singing the one he wrote for Millie. Nothing can stop this man from showing his wife how much he loves her.
    • When Moxxie finishes the song, you can hear members of the audience give an applause. Despite the mockery he endured, clearly some members of the audience liked his performance.

    Queen Bee
  • Props for Vortex for having Bee-Lzebub, the Queen of the Ring of Gluttony, as his girlfriend.
  • Bee makes an entrance via music number, showing her talent as a singer, dancer, and party host.
  • Despite Bee-Lzebub being among the strongest characters in the show, Loona shows no fear towards her, even being willing to get into a fight with her at the end of the episode.
    • For reference, Stolas, Millie, and Moxxie were afraid of fighting Asmodeus from the Ring of Lust. Loona is actually ready to fight someone as strong as Asmodeus without hesitation.
  • Blitzo outdrinks Bee in a Drinking Contest upon arriving at he party.
    Blitzo: WHO'S THE QUEEN NOW???
    • She even congratulated him for his victory, stating that no one had ever beaten her at in a contest before.
  • Bee shows the ability to turn into a giant version of herself with a Third Eye when she gets mad.
    • And for her part, despite Bee showcasing her demonic powers, Loona was still ready to throw down until she saw how uncomfortable it was making Tex.
  • Loona knocks out an imp who was going to date-rape Blitzo. She makes sure to take him home and ensure that her father is safe and sound.
  • Despite being an introvert and nervous at parties, Loona manages to make a few friends, showing that she's developing her social skills even if she had to leave the party early
  • In the beginning Loona did stand up to an Alpha Bitch who kept an embarrassing photo of Loona throwing up and called her a bitch.
