* AwesomeArt: Say what you will about the show's writing, but nobody's complaining about the series' comic book-inspired visuals (which was planned to be used by a planned ''ComicBook/CaptainAmerica'' series for Fox the year before this show aired, but that got canned by Marvel going bankrupt -- it's likely that producer Will Meuginot imported it).

* CompleteMonster: In the tie-in comic book to the animated series, [[MasterOfDisguise the Chameleon]] is a monstrous Beastial capable of changing his appearance to those he has murdered. To use this to his advantage, Chameleon systematically stalks and murders over a dozen innocent people, then uses their identities to commit crimes. After being stopped by Spider-Man during a bank robbery that nearly leaves several people dead, Chameleon boasts his plans to ruin Spider-Man's name and [[HopeCrusher crush the hope]] of his people by framing Spider-Man for the killings. Even in a world of dictators and monstrous symbiotes, the Chameleon stood out as a vile SerialKiller who disgusted Spider-Man more than any other villain he encountered.

* BrokenBase: A lot of fans weren't fond of the series because of how radical a departure it was from previous and subsequent Spider-Man adaptations, but there are some fans who see the show as a decent cartoon in its own right and having some interesting concepts.

* FoeYay: Lady Vermin had the hots for Spider-man the second she saw him fight.

Unlimiated being a loose sequel to Spider-Man: The Animated Series is a misconception. According to the data books, the two cartoons are separate continuities.

Please present all Complete Monster candidates in this thread.

* CompleteMonster: The High Evolutionary. For all his claims of being a WellIntentionedExtremist, it's fairly clear that he has pretty much no respect for life in any form. He sees humans as lower than dirt, and it becomes clear as the show goes on that his 'beloved' Beastials aren't any safer from him.
** Sir Ram isn't much better.
** Venom and Carnage . Their plan is to unleash symbiotes upon Counter-Earth and make symbiotes dominant species and their plan would result in extermination of lots of humans and Beastials alike. Also they kidnap innocent people and turn them into their slaves. Carnage is willing to hurt innocent people to make Spider-Man bring Venom back and Venom is willing to destroy Spider-Man, even after Spidey saved Eddie's life by bringing back the symbiote. And unlike most Venom and Carnage versions, where Eddie and Cassidy are in control of their actions, symbiotes took full control of Eddie And Cassidy.
