* ContraltoOfDanger: While she is capable of speaking in a rather pretty voice, she prefers using a low deadpan monotone that dips even deeper down when she is annoyed, which happens often; many of her playful remarks invoke her "teenage loan shark" side and sound downright menacing, and some are [[ShameIfSomethingHappened actual threats]].

* ContraltoOfDanger: While her idol career forces her to speak in a typically high-and-cute voice, her real one is much deeper and even somewhat menacing, combining with her hidden aggressiveness and temper.

** Although she’s cute, she can be actively dangerous and show her nasty side. Her voice tone can go from the light, cute idol voice to [[UsefulNotes/JapaneseLanguage a Hiroshima accent]] with ContraltoOfDanger real quick, especially when she transforms into a magical girl or encounters some of her "enemies". In the English translation, this is portrayed as Iko dropping into a Southern drawl, which she refers to as her "twang".

* ParasonOfPain: Wields a parasol, said to be because she wants a barrier between herself and others, and to shield herself from potential pain.

* ADateWithRosiePalms: In the DX version at least, Kaori seems to be the type to find "self-satisfaction" in variety of situations she ends up in.

* CruelAndUnusualDeath: [[spoiler:In the final episode of Chapter 4, fittingly titled "End of the Daily Life" or "How Normal Ends," Kaori is blindsided by a stray demon, critically wounding her and causing her to [[{{Squick}} slowly and agonizingly die from massive internal damage]], [[GutPunch fully voiced and shown onscreen in heartbreaking detail together with her friends' horror and despair]], followed by the TransformationHorror and [[AndThenJohnWasAZombie her subsequent corruption into a demon]]. This marks the onset of CerebusSyndrome for the story and kicks off Omnis's desperate GroundhogDayLoop in an attempt to SetRightWhatOnceWentWrong.]]

* ACupAngst: Overly conscious of her flat chest, not helped at all by her friends occasionally joking about it. Kaori herself generally believes that BuxomIsBetter, which does not help one bit.

* BuxomIsBetter: Her big bust size is one of the reasons why Cocoa has lots of friends in her class. Cocoa herself is both fully aware of this and doesn't mind if others are EatingTheEyeCandy, though she reserves the right to tease them about it.

* InSeriesNickname: Cocoa is often called "Coconyan" since she almost always ends her words with "nyan". Besides that, she is nicknamed "Busty Loli" by Kamisaman due to [[{{Kawaiiko}} her cute, child-like appearance]] and [[BuxomIsBetter big bust size]]. In the English version, the latter term is euphemistically replaced with "the perky pigtails type".

* MsFanservice: Frequently highlighted in-universe. Aka is not just pretty, she is also alluring and has [[BuxomIsBetter the largest bust size]] among all heroines. She is not only aware of this, but [[InvokedTrope consciously uses it]] as a core part of her approach to life, and actively cultivates her charms and appeal. Kamisaman worries that [[MaleGaze she’ll be a bad influence for young boys]], however, she also acknowledges there are some reasons [[WeNeedADistraction why this side of Aka could be useful]].

* GirlishPigtails: Very long and distinctive ones, not crossing into MegaTwintails territory only due to being fairly thin. An organic part of her {{Kawaiiko}} style of choice.

* AnOfferYouCantRefuse: Aside from being on the receiving end of one from Kamisaman, several magical girls he recruits end up having to choose between joining the team, who are outnumbered and on the ropes at that moment, in order to bolster it, or watching their friends die before falling to demons themselves, unable to escape. To his credit, he never tries to force the potential recruits to join, but the situations still end up being choices between joining and KillEmAll despite his will.

* WeaponOfChoice: Her magical weapon is a giant paintbrush. According to Kamisaman's loading screen information, Iroha's traits/personality are like a paintbrush that "paints" the white empty canvas of her life. She further calls Iroha's mode of living "running around freely on instinct".

* WeaponOfChoice: Her Magical Instrument is a giant plume pen because it symbolizes sincerity. However, the hidden part of the feathers is unknown, even Kamisaman is curious about it. According to the fans, the feather part implies Kaori's inconsistency and [[NoSocialSkills awkwardness]], just like a feather, which moves back and forth.

* WeaponOfChoice: A vacuum cleaner, which is said to represent her desire for things to be nice and tidy, and also remove the "dust" of DarkAndTroubledPast.

* WeaponOfChoice: Cocoa's Magical Instrument is a "No Entry" street sign pole. According to Kamisaman, it symbolizes her [[RebelliousSpirit rule-breaking personality]].

* WeaponOfChoice: A gigantic bronze key used as a bludgeon. Speculated by Kamisaman to relate to her closed-off nature as well as to her love of unlocking mysteries.

* WeaponOfChoice: A {{BFS}} made out of rebar and a huge metal frame. Kamisaman speculates it to be the expression of "a sword without an edge", symbolizing her desire to be like a man on the inside and the outside, and the differences that set her apart from that ideal.

* WeaponOfChoice: A colossal hairpin as big as Aka herself, seeming to suggest her reliance on her beauty and seductiveness.

* WeaponOfChoice: A mid-20th century-looking microphone stand. Kamisaman notes it fits Eliza's loud and attention-seeking nature.

* WeaponOfChoice: An electric double bass, striking both with its [[MusicalAssassin bass notes]] and its pointed base. Kamisaman notes it symbolizes Lilly's inner wish to do good for others expressed through music combined with a desire to be unconventional, displayed through it being electric.

* WeaponOfChoice: A ''cruise missile'' wielded like a spear or bludgeon, of all things. Being her "magical instrument", it's not a real missile, but the effect remains. Kamisaman believes it connects with her desire "to destroy the stagnant sides of the world around her".

* WeaponOfChoice: A massive wrapped lollipop as big as Iko is tall, swung like a warhammer. Kamisaman speculates it relates to her surface, stage-managed idol personality wrapping around her inner, hidden hard-but-sweet core - and her "true efforts yet unseen".

* WeaponOfChoice: Wields a parasol, said to be because she wants a barrier between herself and others, and to shield herself from potential pain.

* HornyDevils: All the demons have blatantly sexual designs, and [[spoiler:at least in [[{{NSFW}} DX version]], they [[FanDisservice rape the dying heroines]] [[{{Squick}} to death]]]].

* GoodPeopleHaveGoodSex: At least in the DX version, which includes sex scenes. Most of Iroha's Dress substories are on the romantic side of things, fitting of a girl with an innocent and moral nature revolving around her relationship with Tobio and getting into mostly romantic situations with him.

* TalkingToYourself: Both Omnises share the same voice actor, and White Omnis talks almost exclusively to his "Prime" self.

* SupportingProtagonist: {{Downplayed To a certain extent}}. The story ''does'' directly and heavily involve Tobio/Omnis, but the real focus of the players' attention is on the magical girls he leads and mentors, and it's them who do all the heavy lifting and adventuring, with him present to act as their LivingMacGuffin TransformationTrinket and provide tactical advice and coordination - which justifies the players' point of view of and presence for the action.

* {{Meganekko}}: Kamisaman believes that TheGlassesGottaGo to really show how beautiful her face is. Tobio seems to like her just fine as she is.

* CovertPervert: Secretly draws thoroughly {{NSFW}} doujinshi starring the very demons they fight. Furthermore, a rare few of the moments when she freezes up in combat are, by her reluctant admission, not caused by her fear, but [[FoeYay by fantasising about them]]. In one of her dress stories, Tobio is surprised after knowing Marianne has [[PornStash a full stash of H-Games.]]

* YouGottaHaveBlueHair: Her hair is yellow, despite her being pure Japanese.

* GyaruGirl: Somewhere between the Amekaji and Banba subtypes, both descended from Ganguro. [[YouGottaHaveBlueHair Colorful hair]]? Check. Dark skin? Check. Sexy, exaggeratedly casual fashion? Check. Spends most of her time hanging out in Shibuya? Also check. It's implied that her pink hair and dark skin are natural, if you take a look at her AlternateSelf also.

* HornedHairdo: Iroha has a few strands of her long hair wound up into animal ear-shaped OdangoHair, with the rest flowing free.

** This has a lot to do with her deep-held personal beliefs, which stem from her family history: Ao is very ill at ease with the way women normally live in [[UsefulNotes/{{Japan}} Japanese culture]], believing it too passive and meek, and seeks to emulate an idealized vision of men in all aspects of her life instead. She wants to be the strong, muscular, powerful protector and champion, not YamatoNadeshiko (though this does not stop her from maintaining a deep sisterly bond with the [[ExaggeratedTrope exaggeratedly]] [[GirlyGirl feminine]] Aka). However, she also doesn't have any gender issues per se, and is completely straight, much to the dismay of many a SchoolgirlLesbian at Takeraho.

* ItAmusedMe: In an official {{Yonkoma}} [[https://imgur.com/a/LNl5X1U strip]], her favorite game is an analog PlayerVersusPlayer game that requires psychological warfare and tactics, like poker and mahjong. And she also admits that she likes to see how her opponent reacts when he/she loses the game. Judging from her [[CheshireCatGrin smile]], hoo boy... she really enjoys it.

* NotSoDifferent: Both Omnises' motivations and end goals are effectively the same, including their desire to become new Kamisaman and CosmicRetcon all magical girls back to life and happy endings, Manga/FutureDiary or [[Anime/PuellaMagiMadokaMagica Madoka]] style. The difference is that [[spoiler:White Omnis's magical girls [[AndThenJohnWasAZombie were corrupted into demons]]]]. [[DiscussedTrope Discussed]] in the dialogue between the two.

* HeelFaceDoorSlam: After being beaten, she [[HeelFaceTurn turns over the new leaf and starts to regain her sanity]] after being approached by Kaori, only for Vivian to beat her till she's fatally injured. Fortunately she gets teleported into the White Room and meet the main universe Iroha before the latter returns into the main universe.

* AmbiguouslyEvil: While she's unwittingly responsible for Executors' teleportations, it's not clear whether she indeed cooperates with the demons. While she attacks Nemesis Iroha out of nowhere, and this can be regarded ambiguously good, since she says that it would be troublesome if Nemesis Iroha touches or kills Kaori (even though Nemesis Iroha has started to have a HeelFaceTurn), while Nemesis Iroha has become a violent FallenHero long time ago.

* HeelFaceDoorSlam: After being beaten, she [[HeelFaceTurn turns over the new leaf and regains her sanity]] after being approached by Kaori, only for Vivian to beat her till she's fatally injured. Fortunately she gets teleported into the White Room and meet the main universe Iroha before the latter returns into the main universe.

The ArcVillain of Season 2 and onward, this mysterious Witch had been responsible for Omnis involuntary shifting between worlds and in the beginning serves as a mysterious voice talking to Akisa through her phone. It was through her actions that causes the unstable fluxes that causes Omnis to jump between worlds and causing the magical girls to get stranded in the Demon World, eventually resulting in their deaths. She was responsible for the [[HeelFaceDoorSlam ambush]] of Nemesis Iroha after Kaori and the remaining girls grueling fight against Nemesis Iroha.

* ArcVillain: Is retroactive revealed to be the one behind Omnis's traveling across other worlds, and sets herself up as the main villain for Season 3 after defeating a weakened Nemesis Iroha.

* WalkingSpoiler: Vivian is revealed to be a GreaterScopeVillain, who is responsible for teleporting some Executors. Which in some cases results in White Omnis attempting to kill Tobio's heroines in the main universe (In the 1st Arc), the main universe Omnis gets lost in a gruesome DarkWorld and Nemesis alternate self of Iroha becoming a raging FallenHero (In the 2nd Arc), etc.

* HeelFaceDoorSlam: After being beaten, she [[HeelFaceTurn turns over the new leaf]] after being approached by Kaori, only for Vivian to beat her till she's fatally injured.

* TokenEvilTeammate: Markedly more grim and dour than any of the other magical girls, overtly selfish and manipulative, and with illegal interests and hobbies to boot. As a gambling ringleader, she happily resorts to [[ShameIfSomethingHappened threats, intimidation and blackmail]] to keep people playing when they try to quit, ruining their livelihoods and lives in the process. Tobio's romance with her is no exception - where other relationships are various shades of sweet, cute and melodramatic, Hanabi starts out treating Tobio as a plaything, browbeats him into gambling for her, and when he asks to be left alone and fails her proposed LastChanceToQuit, ''[[RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil she immediately rapes him]]'' [[WhatTheHellHero as part of his punishment for defying her]] (SFW-version players get everything save for the rape). She [[CharacterDevelopment does get better]], but no-one else comes anywhere close to the lows she goes to.
