The way the principles of each bending discipline are applied to Earthbending is entertaining, well-thought and makes sense. I'm not too happy with the portrayals of the rest of the Gaang members (they barely appear, and seem to be a bit exaggerated) but it doesn't detract from the story. Also, it's nice to see a different side of Toph for a change, even if her character might seem a little too tsundere in certain parts.
