why did you made a review on here again?
Flame Bait, obviously.
It would be good if you explained some of your points better. I don't see how the Uchiha are basically Nazis and how Naruto is in sociopath territory.
Also, I'm not sure, but I think Tsunade didn't send any ANBU after Sasuke because she didn't have any to send at that time. But I could be wrong, which would make it into a pretty good point.
And yeah, the thing with Naruto scratching Sasuke's headband instead of hitting him unconscious was pretty dumb, I agree.
yes it was after the war with the sand and sound village, even Kakashi was off on duty, and I thought it was more like Naruto wanted to prove that Sasuke wouldn't had killed him like he said, which is still stupid just a different kind.
I wonder how Sasuke got past the gate though. They were short on people, alright. But someone has to guard the damn gate. xDD
@kay4today: He's manipulative, self-centered, violent, has no regard for the decisions or beliefs of others when they contradict his own. He prioritizes the lives of the people around him, and the only reason he wants to be Hokage is so that people will be forced to look up to him.
I stand by my claim that I won't be debating this, it's merely recitation of fact on request.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Hilarious
yep, that totally spells sociopath, did you get the sarcasm because I meant it. Saying you wont change your mind no matter what on a thing such as this is the definition of close minded, specially when said on a review on tv tropes.
Ah, marcellX, silly goose. It does. The lives of the people Naruto cares about are more important than the lives of literally everyone else. Sasuke has a stated goal of murdering everyone in Konoha, but Naruto still wants to bring him back to that very same village. He begs the Raikage on his hands and knees (a flagrant attempt at manipulation, mind you) to not kill Sasuke for attempting to murder the Raikage's brother.
You dismiss my position out of hand, attributing a statement to me I didn't make in an attempt to further discredit me and you call me close minded? People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. ;)
I don't debate the classification of Naruto as a sociopath because I've already done so, at length, elsewhere on the internet. The response to my assertions is invariably, as you have so perfectly demonstrated, a resounding "NU UH!".
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! So begging someone is considered manipulation? What a strange world you live in.
It's better just to ignore him/her and his/her narcissistic own little world logic.
Another occasion which I agree with Marcell. This so called reviewer is an excessive idiot who like the others fail to produce accurate facts to support their reviews.
Not debating? Thats good because you didnt even provide any examples or evidence for those viewpoints, so I don't know how you'd hope to debate it
@qtjinla15 I know you are but what am I? ;)
@Ansem Paul: Your comment is inherently fallacious. I don't provide evidence, therefore I can't debate, rather than I won't debate, so I won't provide evidence. I submit to you that Naruto's sociopathy is axiomatic, and therefore evidence is not needed. ;)
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Lol at calling Naruto a sociopath. If we called every self-absorbed idiot that...
Hey, I LIKE Shikamaru.
Me be psychologist, so I cry foul on Naruto being a sociopath. Although, I think you're only making this to get a reaction out of folks, so you reply. :3
And since you're not in the mood to debate.... NARUTO IS FREAKIN' AWESOME AND YOU'RE THE DEVIL! But, hey, that's just my opinion, and therefore, you have to deal with it. ;) Bye!
I refuse to remove this signature until Guardians of Luna gets an official announcement. I will see werewolves done right!Leave a Comment:
Part 1 > Part 2
Title pretty much says it all. An interesting, if not exactly revolutionary, shonen series with interesting fights where everyone has something to do (except Sakura), not just Naruto and Sasuke. The Sasuke Retrieval Arc especially displayed this.
Naruto and a few of his fellow genin are sent to retrieve Sasuke who has fled the village (never mind that that means he's a missing-nin and Tsunade should have sent the ANBU after him, but whatevs.) The formula for the arc isn't exactly original, but it's interesting to see Choji curbstomp Jirobo instead of stand in the background, or Neji have his Better Than Thou attitude turned against him by Kidomaru.
Previous antagonist Gaara returns as an ally and kicks some ass and takes some names. The fight with N&S was kinda ridiculous, landing hits that would have like vaporized a normal person but again, whatevs. Sasuke boasts that Naruto won't even be able to lay a scratch on his headband. They fight. Then at the very end, Part 2's awfulness seeps backwards through time and Naruto decides its more important for Sasuke to be proven wrong about the headband than it is for him to not being an international terrorist, so he throws the fight.
Part 2 comes along and Gaara is bland and uninteresting, the Akatsuki die by the bucketload, the Uchihas are developed into what basically amounts to Nazis and Naruto takes a hard swerve deep into sociopath territory (Characterizations I will not be debating. They are what they are. Deal with it). The series' previously espoused idea that hard work can beat inherent excellence is shot to hell and forced to listen to dramatic readings of Twilight by Hitler and it gets worse with every passing chapter.
All in all, avoid part 2 like the plague. Watch and enjoy part 1.
One last thing: I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOATHE Shikamaru. The end.
