Has not aged very well, but I have respect for it.

Let's face it - Undertale The Musical is not that great as a musical adaptation. Granted, upon my first listening, I was in awe. Mostly because it was a rather amateurish series that aimed to do something big. And it succeeded. The voice cast is amazing, some songs were pretty good, and I liked the overall feel the entire production gave off. But seeing how significantly Man on the Internet improved since then, the cracks really began to show. The editing is not very good, most covers are decent at best, only few actually standing out ("Power of NEO" is my personal favorite, and even that one is pretty flawed), sometimes the sound is weirdly mixed, and the early cover artwork's realism is quite jarring. Despite everything, I still have a lot of respect towards this project. As mentioned already, I love the voice acting in it, and i think many repurposed lines and some of the added jokes are pretty good. But most importantly, despite its flaws, it's just an amazing fan tribute with a lot of heart put into it. While I probably won't be revisiting Undertale The Musical anytime soon, I'm glad it was made, and more people should attempt doing fan musicals. Still, if you want actually good lyrical covers, check out MOTI's newer releases.
