When I first came across this fic, I ended up binge-reading it in a single night, because MAN, did it drag me through a ton of emotion and suspense. As a huge fan of Bridgette, the story really made me feel for her, digging into the emotional intensity of a teen pregnancy (especially for someone whose boyfriend doesn't even live in the same town as her), and I ended up tearing up a little for her or gasping in horror at some points. I legitimately felt so bad for Bridgette through the whole fic, even when she ended up doing some very questionable things. However, if I do have one complaint about the story, it is that there are some points where it feels like Bridgette is lacking the qualities that make her more than just a generic nice teenage girl (like her hippie nature, how she's more at home on the water, or the fact that she's an animal lover). While it might be attributable to her pregnancy mucking up her life, it does sometimes make it feel like I could remake the story without any Total Drama characters and nothing would be different. Regardless, that flaw does not detract from the drama that make truly makes this fic shine as a teen pregnancy story, and I loved every moment of it from start to finish. Trust me, this fic is unpredictable, and truly put me on edge at some points.
