Fan work done right

As a dedicated fan of both the Arrowverse and the MCU I must say that this is one of the most phenomenal stories I have ever read and does everything a good crossover should- the main point being showing how the different universe involved play off each other. Aside from that there are a plethora of reasons this is fantastic work.

The first is character interaction. The characters are written in a way that makes you believe they just stepped off the screen and the way they meet and dialogue they have with each other is genuinely something that you believe would happen in an actual crossover with the properties.

The second reason is the various properties that become involved. The writer massively expands the scale beyond the conventional DC and Marvel universes and brings in so many different worlds that you wouldn't expect yet fit in all the same. It's impossible to predict what new worlds will appear but you find yourself anticipating what will happen next with eager zeal.

The third reason is just how well done the writing is. Humor is always legitimately comedic without falling into crass jokes, action scenes are always engaging to read, and emotional scenes always hit close because of the well done character work.

The final reason is the writers willingness to truly dive into the mythos of the worlds that appear. Actor Allusions, Mythology Gags, and references to ideas and concepts that only dedicated fans would understand. It's abundantly clear that the writer shows a sincere respect and admiration for the universes he involves in his stories and that is just amazing.
