Very fun read, with two major issues (at least in my own personal opinion)

If you're like me and you're just starting to get into webcomics, Un Ordinary is a fantastic place to start. While the pacing is slower compared to other webcomics out there on the internet, it more than makes up for it when it comes to developing character, making sure the reader understands what's going on, and possessing a fun, dynamic, sometimes sterotypical but still very interesting characters.

Un Ordinary does a great job at slowing things down to explain things through to the reader, but as all things in life, this comes with a cost. The pacing of the story is INCREDIBLY slow, with the author, uru-chan taking nearly 150 or so chapters to reveal the real meat of the story, and I have a hunch that at the time of me writing this review (at chapter 152), the story's barely even a quarter of the way through.

Another issue found in my read through was the fact that even though having an anti-hero as the protagonist was an interesting twist, I feel uru-chan shoves the message of "John has been through some stuff and this is the reason why he's brutalizing everyone in his path" just a little bit too much. We get his motives and reasons why he's going out of the way to hurt people, thanks to uru-chan explaining things through, but I personally feel like she's going just a little bit too far with this characterization of him. I don't write and I'm not the author, but I feel she should tone him down just a lil' bit, or at least show that he feels some regret, but hey, like I said: I'm just the reader. Uru-chan does what uru-chan wants.

Seraphina, as much as I love her, ultimately feels lacking when it comes to plot development. For about 35-40% of the story, she was completely absent from the story, either because of her suspension, being in a coma, being kidnapped, or just f*cking around while John beat people, and that's not a good sign, especially if she's supposed to be John's foil. You can't be someone's foil if you're gone half the time.

I would write more, but I'm afraid I'm approaching my limit, so I'll end it here.

Un Ordinary is a phenomenal read and a great first choice if you're getting into the scene, but keep in mind that the pacing is very slow and some characters may prove more lacking than others
