Ralph breaks the point of the last movie

After watching this movie, my first thoughts were that it certainly looked cool, but it was missing something serious in the delivery.

I'd complain about the plot except that there really isn't a single plot that runs through the movie, there's several smaller plots that come and go. It honestly feels like the folks at Disney took the concepts for multiple short films and awkwardly welded them together to create something that was feature length.

Ralph, who spent the last movie trying to prove that there was more to him than just breaking things, has apparently become content doing nothing but breaking things. Vanelope, meanwhile, has gotten bored with racing. So they set off on a merry quest for her to figure out that she wants to go to a different game (the big no-no from the last movie). Along the way, we get a few funny scenes of Disney making fun of itself, some randomness, and a couple of musical numbers.

And by the movie's end, we have Ralph who once again has decided to try improving himself and Vanelope moving onto a new game because "nobody will notice" her no longer being in Sugar Rush despite it being firmly established that she's the most popular character.

I enjoyed watching it on Netflix, but at the end I was glad that I hadn't paid money to see it in the theater.
