The premise was interesting, even with the All For One is Izuku's dad and Nana is Inko's mom schtick, but Kidnapping of a Cryptid jumped off the road and into the abyss of Daaaarrrrkkkkkness. It's so angsty and hopeless it's almost hilarious. I was close to noping out when One For All made people suicidal since suicide is often used for shock value and I hate that with a burning passion but I kept reading. Then the collapse of hero society began and angst angst angst Wangst. I love me some angst but this was ridiculous. It completely took me out of the fic. I don't care what happens to these characters anymore.
