Personally calling this a fanfic seems a bit elaborate. While certainly a great deal of work has gone into the artwork, which looks great, most of the "story" is told either via rather dry character bio's or little dialog snippets via vox boxes. And, while admittedly a matter of personal taste, the tone seemed far more focused on this teen drama style humor as opposed to fisty-cuff action one might expect based on the source material. While I can certainly appreciate the real human tragedy which prompted the creation of this universe, as a fanfic itself I couldn't really recommend it other than for the artwork itself.
Not my lucky number...
