It's one of the WORSE stories I've ever seen. PERIOD. Everyone should know by now just how awful Mykan and his works are but this just stands out given how badly made it is.
This is one of those rare stories that got NOTHING right. Stuff is TOLD to us rather than shown. It has TWO blatant self-insert Mary Sues, It's a rip off of a much better story that completely misunderstood what made the original great, the fight scenes suck, when information isn't being force-fed to us it's just being repeated ad nasuem, it's sexist as all hell with its portrayal of Raven, Starfire and Terra(ESPECIALLY Terra) it has a downright HORRIBLE moral and worst of all it's BORING.
But I think the thing that bothers me the most is the VILLAINS. The villains suck. Partly it's because they're so OP it's not even funny. Every time it looks like the heroes stand a chance something new comes along to ruin it until the inevitable deus ex machina. And it's not like say...Thanos or the Reapers where despite being OP they were interesting so you could get invested in them. Oh sure Mykan TRIED to make Count Logan interesting and sympathetic but it failed miserably because Mykan can only write one kind of villain. Evil overlords who either wanna take over the world or destroy it just...because. And it pretty much shows how much he doesn't get both Beast Boy and Count Bleck as characters.
The only "positive" I can give is that it at least feels like Mykan was trying to tell a story here and not just an extended author tract like his Friendship is Failure series. Oh, sure it's a horribly disgusting, morally backward, sexist, story but still a story.
All in all. Only read this if you wanna make fun of it.
